Hi Remi...I am 71 and I think you are doing a WONDERFUL job, taking care of your home, yourself, your babies. The time goes by so fast, and they grow up. I love housework, but with 2 children, years ago, who were 13 months apart, I never had time for cleaning, etc. Now I have more time than I know what to do with. I love love love your channel. You just be you, and do the best you can. Love you and take care! Jeanie from Florida. Watching your channel is very therapeutic!
All mums can relate to that. It is really sad that we worried so much about tidy houses, work, all the other things that took us away fom our babies. We would love to have even five minutes with our babies again....Hopefully our love kept them close to us and we now rely on them for help and comfort (I know I do!).
I've just found you and you have motivated me. I'm 69 with a 40 yr old daughter and a 10 year old grandson who has autism and ADHD. My daughter was diagnosed with ADHD when she was 14 yrs old and struggled throughout her school years and beyond. She's married now and home schools her son bc he's had a tough time in main stream school. He's a handful but quite high functioning in some aspects. I could go on forever talking about me and my family. I am really impressed with your channel. You remind me so much of my daughter. You have a special way of speaking which is very engaging for me. I can only say that I hope your wishes come true and keep going with your UA-cam channel bc I know you do help ppl and that includes me. I can't do a lot these days and as I used to get very house proud it's a kick in the teeth. Oh, I forgot to say I was born in Birmingham and emigrated with my then husband in the late 70's. I live in Perth Western Australia and after all those years this is my home. I still have 2 brothers in Brum. I am so glad I found you and just know you are very good on your channel especially your speaking. I don't expect a reply but I hope my comment finds you and your family well. Kind regards, Linda (or as everyone here calls me, Nanny) that includes my daughter and son in law, extended family and friends. Take care my dear.
Please do not feel the need to justify yourself. You are helping soooo many people and that is a good thing. Ignore the haters. You are an inspiration to many. A mixture of long and short vids suits me. ❤
Breastmilk is a great cure for pink-eye. A busy, full time employed mom, who spends quality time with her kids, works opposite shifts with her partner, has no dryer or dishwasher, lives in a smaller house with limited storage - is never going to have time for a perfect house! But you sure can clean :) I used to be VERY messy, but I learned, and part of it was forming new habits, and part of it was learning not to be a perfectionist. You'll laugh, but my indoor /leash cat sits on the mat when he comes in wet or dirty to get toweled and have his feet wiped! Hilarious to watch you make the bed and fold the clothes around the baby. Such a good little sleeper. My favourite sheets are either white so I can bleach them, or burgundy so the stains don't show ;) Love the video.
I love the understanding you have. The way you reframe a strangers comment about what is actually true. My home gets messy so quickly as well. I'll clean and it's amazing! But I also want my child to enjoy her toys , have room to grow and enjoy her belongings by laying them out on the living room floor. Then it's messy all over again. These are temporary memory's, before we know it, our dear children will be grown and we'll be by ourselves again, no mess but our own to clean up.
I remember wash days when it rained and rained, when the washing line broke and the wet sheets fell in the mud, My Mum used to sit and cry. I hope people understand that this young lady has to have many clothes around becaus she has no electric dryer. To cut costs in France I have washing lines in the cellar where I hang laundry to dry off a bit before using the dryer, but at least I do have a dryer , thank goodness. They are not common in England because of the cost of electricity and lack of space. Remi does have a washer which is a godsend with kids, but work is terribly hard without all the wonderful labour saving things American houses have. Oh what a lovely comment! Here in nz ,dishwashers and dryers aren't in every home and I know the struggles remi faces, but she's so beautifully greatful and positive ❤
So I've had this friend who I always thought she had a spotless house, and I was embarrassed anytime she was at my house. This past weekend, we stayed at her house for the first time. Turns out she is human too and has dust and dirt in similar places to me. I learned not to be so hard on myself. Your videos help too, thank you
New subscriber here. I totally get what you mean by your dog just flying into the house. My three do the same and though the little fella is alright, his bigger and much younger brother and sister make a total mess. They ran into the kitchen, do few laps around it, shake themselves off and only then sit down to have their paws done. Since I live in the countryside you can imagine the mess they create 😁
Girl I found your account yesterday and all I can say is wow! You are just the most amazing person ! Honestly tho you work you have 2 kids and you find the time to tidy all the mess after being exhausted probably, I'm a mum of two aswell mine are the same ages as both your kids and it's so hard to keep ontop of the mess especially after a long day where I'm exhausted after getting everyone in bed, I'm so proud of you for coming so far in your journey!! No matter what you post I'll watch it either way cheers to you girl ! ❤❤
When I watch your videos I am taken right back to when my two were little. I wish I had had your videos then! You are doing so great and it really will get easier. ❤
Longer vids! Just found you. Thanks! You are on my computer as I organize my horrific home office (garbage room) Love your channel. Love your honesty. Thats rare on social media.
I really like the way you do things. I'd like to say my house isn't messy but it is, mostly my 2 kids mess. I understand it's not easy to keep clean. Your videos make me realize I'm not alone in this mess.
I love how you are talking through your videos! It's helped me realize I'm not the only one thinking the same way. So, the haters can just stick it up their bums 😊
Myself…I enjoy either 💕funny how easy it seems to be ….to criticize people on utube who put themselves out there, like you do with your videos. God bless you. I always heard it said walk a mile in the persons shoes before you judge…keep up the good work❤
Love whatever content you want to provide! You have such a great narration - funny, wise, self-effacing, supportive, cheerful, clever. And, whats more delightful than clean sheets, dried on the line?! I love hanging out wash 😊
I love the long videos I hope they aren’t so much more trouble for you. Don’t worry too much about the voice overs. We love whatever you say and you don’t have to find words for the whole length of time. ♡
Just found your account, and you are so relatable! Yes, my house is constantly a disaster! Yes, my 1yo does gymnastics while nursing! Yes, I feel your anxiety and frustrations! Greetings from NC, USA!
Long ones for me, but happy with whatever you've got time for. Loving your channel. You deserve the growth that is happening I hope you're getting paid now by YT.
I like the longer videos but also enjoy the short ones. It is just so nice to see someone who is so honest about cleaning. It is an ongoing process and at times it makes me wonder how it got so messy…didn’t I just tidy up that room?! Keep the videos coming!❤❤❤
LOVE white bed sheets cuz they're the only one's I can bleach! lol. also, we keep a wicker basket at the bottom of our stairs. If something goes up, put it in the basket. Then one child each has the responsibility of carrying up the basket at the end of each day, and leaving the cleaned basket at the top of the stairs to be carried back down in the morning.
I’m hoping you have access to comments made from previous posts but I think you’re awesome! Between videos, I’m doing different things around my house because you’ve motivated me! Thank you!
This was massively motivating for me, thank you! And thank you for your honesty and for sharing how you told yourself you loved the mess and chaos. That was such an eye opener for me and who I am and what I want as a mom during a difficult season of motherhood. And you are so sweet and funny, and your videos are such a joy! While it was your longer video that brought me to your channel (How to clean when you're overwhelmed), I do enjoy the 60 second motivators as well. Mostly, whether it is in 60 seconds or 20 minutes, it is your honesty, sense of humor, and dedication that are the biggest help for me. Thank you so much!
I loooove thé long videos 😍 i just love sitting down in the evening with a cuppa watching your videos the longer the better heheh!! But love both so much!!!
Looove the longer videos esp for the weekend when I clean lol the shorts are handy for in the week. Also love the chatting through, feels like I'm not cleaning alone😅
I have to admit I absolutely love your videos ❤ they have really helped me give myself the kick up the butt I needed so badly! The “15 mins per room” rule you have used in the past vids I have adopted and it’s truly helped me manage to get my house under control again. Keep being you love, you’re awesome! Xxx
@@remiclog can I just ask what is it you sprinkle on your rugs before hoovering? Your rugs look brand new once you’re done and I’d like to try what you do please xxx

I can see myself on your videos, I’ve had always the “need” to do the same (UA-cam) and sharing that we are not alone, but I’m scared… but at least now my kitchen counters are clean and my dining table (we only have one) is clean too just because I watched you. Thank you!
We are having a lot of high temperatures with very little rain. Our lawn is all dead. My house was like yours when I was raising my daughter and working full time. When she moved out, I was able to keep the house looking half way descent, but I am still a visual person and need all my stuff where I can see it.
I literally just found you half an hour ago, you’re an absolute breath of fresh air. Unfortunately you’ll always get criticisms & the nay sayers on social media, but for the love of god don’t listen to them. I don’t trust anyone with a show home 24/7 when they have kids & / or animals, completely impossible! A house is meant to be lived in. Juggling work, kids, day to day living, cleaning, illnesses.. it’s rough! You’re doing amazingly Remi & don’t let anyone tell you any different. Your boys are gorgeous too 🥰 Sending lots of love & blessings xx
@@remiclog Oh bless your heart 💗 Nothing like a reminder of what a great job you’re doing when things have been rough, & I only ever leave comments I genuinely mean, unfortunately I inherited my mums straight talking 😂 I hope your day has improved, & if it hasn’t, slob out on the sofa tonight with a ruddy big choccie bar, tomorrow is a new day 💗 xxx
This mom hurt her back, not moving around the greatest these day's. Can't be sick or hurt for 1 day and my house is a wreck. Someday these kid's will be grown and gone and i won't have their messes, so for now I take deep breaths and enjoy my time with them. I use to be a clean freak and it came with a very ornery mom. I find now that when i start deep cleaning, that my mood changes from good to bad almost instantly. Working together as a family getting things done does keep me happier, but if not, then I just do the mandatory things and stay happy because that's the kind of mom i want my kid's to know. ❤
Love the longer videos. Please keep chatting all the way through, love hearing about what you're doing and how your day is going. I use the term 'reset" too. :))
I like both long and short (longer is my favorite) but as you say you got to do what’s best for you so if short videos are what’s best for you then go for it!
Dishwasher is not a maid. You have to scrape, rinse, load, remember to turn it on, then unload. For me, I prefer to clean up as I cook and just wash by hand. No waiting for clean dishes, no melted plastic, no baked on crud the dishwasher missed, no broken glasses, etc.
@@serenakoleno9338 everyone is different..I have three kids and a hungry husband. I don’t scrape or rinse plates . Just clean the filter out from time to time. It saves me more time than the vacuum cleaner which I use less often.
I have three dogs and no way am I wiping their paws every time they come in from being outside. So help me that would like 8 -10 times a day! Only sociopaths wipe their dog’s paws. 😂 Also, I have adhd and dysthymia and I completely get how people just can’t keep up because they do not have the energy. One thing I have found that saves me is minimalism. Only having what I absolutely need and not having extra things cluttering up my surfaces and hidden areas really keeps my brain as empty as possible. Did you know that clutter causes a constant state of low level anxiety? Like a low hum in the back of your mind whether you acknowledge it or not? Having less makes cleaning faster and easier because you can skip the whole tidying part! Of course, this is coming from someone who does not have children. Also, Remi, have you thought about trying a bin or two on the stairs and running them upstairs if you happen to go up there during the day or nightly? Less trips and hopefully less hazardous? I used to follow a mom that used wash baskets like that around the home and then put away the stuff nightly. Anyway, I love your videos and never apologize for the way you are. You’ll never please everyone, but you will find your people by staying true to yourself and authentic. - newly subscribed! ❤
May I suggest you ring out your mop really well, which makes for a floor that will dry in no time. Be sure to keep all doors and windows open so as to let the air in to help dry faster. Please be careful about straining your body (on your hands and knees for example) because you will feel the pain in years to come. It’s not worth it. And don’t worry, as a 50 year old with ADHD, please know that I’ve been there too (messy room and all). Just being conscientious about making an effort is enough. It does get easier with age, as you find more strategies for time management, and executive function. The magical thinking is diminished and you tend to be more realistic in goal setting. Your channel is the best!
I didn't think about it until listening and reevaluating my lifestyle. Cleaning really is my hobby and laundry, too. My child told me one day, laundry, was my hobby. I felt odd and bit boring. They only meant to say I'm good at it.
I loved another vid and couldn’t find it or you again. But now I have. And subscribed. I am enjoying the comments on how your life and family and house are doing. Carry on! And keep on!
Just wanted to say thanks for all the videos! Been so much help! I suffer from ADHD myself and hearing about others struggling too is just so healing. I am also more motivated if theres more sun, I normally take vit d if its been overcast or gloomy for a few days since this affects my mood and motivation. Keep up the good work! You are awesome!
No judging at all, I can give you an advice is whenever you’re picking up stuff around the house, grab a laundry basket with you from room to room and pickup what doesn’t belong there and take it with you to the next room, that will save you a lot of going back and forth, especially with the stairs, you can pick everything up in one go. I hope that helps.
hey ,hey , maybe you can put 1 or 2 baskets at the stairs. you throw everything in the basket, the stairs remain reasonably quiet and you also lift the baskets upwards. this way you don't have to take everything upstairs one by one while cleaning up.
I love both lengths. The quick ones are nice when I've only got a minute, but I do enjoy hearing you more and the extra details in the longer ones. Have you thought about those baskets made just for stairs? You could still throw stuff on/in them but it's a bit more contained so no one steps on stuff.
Do y’all have swiffers in the UK? The sweepers and the dusters make weekly dusting and sweeping, mopping so much easier..I cleaned houses for years and had my own business. I’m not able to do it anymore so I love watching your videos they definitely give me motivation..🇺🇸😀
I think when you do your garden you should totally film it as mine needs quite a lot of work at the moment so it would lovely to see you journey as well 😊❤ xx
I actually am filming the process!! I’m hoping to have a really lovely video of it transforming for you in the few months. Just keeping my fingers crossed the grass comes back 🤞🏼 xx

So tired of the perfect Instagram ready channels. What you do is authentic and you’re chatting is lovely. Still think you need a dishwasher though 😊
You are amazing such enthusiasm for something you don’t find easy ten out of ten you can accomplish anything without energy and enthusiasm welldone
Remi - your UA-cam channel is wonderful! Thanks for your great content!!
I have three dogs and no way am I wiping their paws every time they come in from being outside. So help me that would like 8 -10 times a day! Only sociopaths wipe their dog’s paws. 😂
Also, I have adhd and dysthymia and I completely get how people just can’t keep up because they do not have the energy.
I love your comment Lindsey, maybe I need a basket in my living room for my child's toy collection. Quick nightly reset
I’m cleaning with you today. I love both short and long videos. Keep up the great work!!!!
Love to hear this! Thank you 😊
I love ur videos however u want to talk or say...u do u. I love them!
I’d listen to you for 60 seconds or 2 hours+ - what ever you are able to do.
I figure which ever posts you have time for makes me happy. I just want you to know you're not the only one. I have same problems
Always remind yourself to compare yourself to you not others ❤ i have to remind me of that everyday but it helps
I prefer longer videos but i appreciate whatever u post
Your videos are so satisfying
I love the longer ones! I put them on to motivate me! I had a shower and deep cleaned the bathroom at the same time! 🩵
Long videos! Thanks!❤
I love the long video.
I didn't think about it until listening and reevaluating my lifestyle.
Cleaning really is my hobby and laundry, too. My child told me one day, laundry, was my hobby. I felt odd and bit boring.
They only meant to say I'm good at it.
Long or short, I like all of your videos.
New to your channel an I feel so much better to see that Its not only me with a messy home every single day ni matter how much i clean
I loved another vid and couldn’t find it or you again. But now I have. And subscribed. I am enjoying the comments on how your life and family and house are doing. Carry on! And keep on!
Rewatching u again ❤🎉
Just wanted to say thanks for all the videos! Been so much help! I suffer from ADHD myself and hearing about others struggling too is just so healing. I am also more motivated if theres more sun, I normally take vit d if its been overcast or gloomy for a few days since this affects my mood and motivation. Keep up the good work! You are awesome!
Both, Remi. I like them both❤❤❤
Personally, I like the longer videos!
Lol clearly those commenters have no kids. We dont need to mess up a house on purpose while having children and jobs. Love you girl you are awesome 💖🌞
As to how it feels to have clear stairs....
Absolutely No frigging idea! I thought they were a storage area 🤔 😂 Hx
All lengths are great!
I love the shorts AND the longer videos lol
Thank you so much! 😁 Pleased to hear it!
Love your video's. I love long ones. This is perfect but I could definitely watch more of them ❤xx
Ahh thank you so much ☺️ xx
No judging at all, I can give you an advice is whenever you’re picking up stuff around the house, grab a laundry basket with you from room to room and pickup what doesn’t belong there and take it with you to the next room, that will save you a lot of going back and forth, especially with the stairs, you can pick everything up in one go. I hope that helps.
hey ,hey , maybe you can put 1 or 2 baskets at the stairs. you throw everything in the basket, the stairs remain reasonably quiet and you also lift the baskets upwards. this way you don't have to take everything upstairs one by one while cleaning up.
I solved the problem with stairs. 😉😉 I don’t have any!!!
Lol 😆
Remi, thank you for posting this video as I am using it as motivation to clean up my house for this summer ❤
Take Care
I love both lengths. The quick ones are nice when I've only got a minute, but I do enjoy hearing you more and the extra details in the longer ones.
Have you thought about those baskets made just for stairs? You could still throw stuff on/in them but it's a bit more contained so no one steps on stuff.
Yes!!! I really do need to invest in one. Thank you so much for the feedback, I’m glad you’re enjoying the videos 😁 x
Think your a wonderful cleaner and very motivated your husband must be very proud
Do y’all have swiffers in the UK? The sweepers and the dusters make weekly dusting and sweeping, mopping so much easier..I cleaned houses for years and had my own business. I’m not able to do it anymore so I love watching your videos they definitely give me motivation..🇺🇸😀
Remi i like the long ones😊
Me 2 !! ❤
Ощущение ,что целый месяцами не убираются ,а сейчас решили показать, какая она чистоплотная😂
I love the longer videos
I think when you do your garden you should totally film it as mine needs quite a lot of work at the moment so it would lovely to see you journey as well 😊❤ xx
I actually am filming the process!! I’m hoping to have a really lovely video of it transforming for you in the few months. Just keeping my fingers crossed the grass comes back 🤞🏼 xx
