    We should start a movement, St Aurikatarina volunteer cleaners. Seriously. This woman's story replays itself all over. A group of us can band together lol (like a bat signal lol but it's a scrub daddy or something) and we form groups by towns and show up and help people like this. What do you all think? Xoxoxo.

    Auri tells about missing her message the first time and my mind fills in her voice over ‘and I was so sad I missed her message before’, but no. Auri says, ‘I was so happy I saw her message this time.’ 🤯🤯🤯 What a perspective shift; no self blame, no guilt, just excitement that she can do something now to help. ❤️

    I lost my husband Jan. 2021 to Covid (I am STILL dealing with effects from it myself), and my only child Jan. 2022. She left behind a now 4 year old that I'm raising on my own. Admittedly I've found it so hard at times to clean, just to find the energy or will to do so. Only reason I get up at all is for the little one, since I'm all he has now and he's all I have. I found Aurikatariina's videos a few weeks ago, and have found the motivation to start cleaning and even getting rid of some of my loved one's things. Of course, I've kept some for both myself and the little one, but I've managed to declutter and clean so much. I now only use Scrub Daddy and the Pink Stuff to clean in here, and the little one actually sniffed the air after I cleaned the kitchen with the Pink Stuff and said, "Smell flowers!" He thought it smelled like flowers! Thank you so much Aurikatariina for being such an inspiration!

      Good for you for choosing to fight for a full life! I had a friend who had a stroke at a young age and, while she didn't develop epilepsy as you did, she had slurred speech from facial paralysis on one side along with lack of facial expression and the fatigue and brain fog you described. She often said she wanted to tattoo her IQ on her forehead (she was very smart and graduated with a degree in finance from a prestigious university at 19) because she was tired of having people speak to her like she was a 5 year old. Of course, she understood they were trying to be kind and they didn't know that she could take info and process it just fine. Her brain only had trouble expressing things. It was so frustrating for her.

    I love you... that's all I can say. As a person struggling with mental health, bi-polar disorder and depression, and living for the past 4 years in an apparment such as this, all alone and locked up without wanting to leave the house or see people, I started neglecting my self and my spaces, keeping and throwing the trash all around me, and finding no strength to pick up anything or care, now this is exactly how all my surroundings inside my home have looked for the past few years. Finally, since a month ago, something shifted back inside me and I have started cleaning up little by little, in the possibility my illness allows me. Finding your channel and this video has given me hope and the feeling that someone could understand me and not be judgemental, and accept me. Thank you for such a positive input and the work you do... I have no words to tell you how important it is. Thank you, from the bottom of my heart.

      Here in America you literally fill up the bags and load up a truck or auto either go to a recycling center or trash dump pay the fee and dump the trash or recycling which they pay you for. You do get a reciept for either the fee paid to dump the trash or the money given you for the recycling. In 1 city in California if you live in a home you must have and pay for trash service.

    • @Greygarg
      @Greygarg Рік тому +4

      @@lizbenton957 I think it is a vicious circle. When you feel really low you don't even have enough energy for the smallest tasks. Even getting out of bed is a challenge. So some trash is left Inside, some dishes stay dirty. And trash and dirt invite more trash and dirt. Before you know it, you have a small pile of trash and dirt that already is so overwhelming to you with your very limited amount of energy that you just can't do anything about it anymore. So it keeps growing and you learn to live with it. It is crucial to have support from someone in low times like these. Having someone come over and take care of the trash and dirt for the short time during your lowest point can make all the difference. Unfortunately not everyone is lucky enough to have help like that. And not everyone is able to ask for help.

    Auri I am so happy that people like you exist, never turning your nose up at these conditions but instead seeing the struggle and pain that’s caused it, and being so eager to help.
    I used to live with a roommate who’s apartment was headed in this direction. I moved in after the mess started, because I was desperate at the time for somewhere to live, and he was my friend so I wanted to help support him. It was horrible to live in such a place. Flies everywhere, trash and dirty dishes covering the counters, mold under the sink from a leak, cat litter all over the floor. I hated living in such a mess but never knew how to help us. It was too overwhelming for me to clean on my own even though I wanted to help my friend and myself.
    I am past that now, but the experience taught me a valuable lesson, not to judge someone for messes like this. They get out of control so easily when your own mind is a mess. I wish that I had known of your channel then, so I would have had some tips to clean such big messes. I was never taught properly how to clean, and I think these videos would have helped immensely. I hope they help others in similar situations.
