The only reviewer I actually trust. I bought a SG Racing shifter because of how it looked and how it mounted and it uses more or less the same mechanism and yea you are totally right. Unfortunately this was before I knew most review sites basically never say a bad word about anything because they don't want to risk not getting given new stuff.
You got SG racing Pro model? I has pro and it is wonderfull, it has this very good geeling not too loight not to hard, absolutely great! I know that non Pro version is lit bit worse.
Thanks for this review! It saved me some cash, as I was looking to buy this shifter, since I have their first model pedal set, which I'm ready to swear by! Unfortunately, the lack of tactile feeling in the shifts is a deal breaker for me and I would've been very disappointed when I got this in the mail.
I do mostly rally racing and this looks aesthetically better than most sequential shifters in the market. I ordered this couple days ago, took me a while to pull the trigger as it does not have ball plunger to give that sensation of gears being engaged but the height and the looks did it for me.

I've been waiting to see more reviews of this sequential shifter. I initially saw it and loved the aethestics of it, especially because I drift and it looks like a Samsonas sequential (which is widely used in drifting). and with all the adjustment claimed on the website it seemed like a perfect fit! So I ordered one on the 21st Dec, told it would be an 8 days wait and would dispatch on boxing day. Then new year comes and sitll not arrived and no update. Then on the 27th Jan I'm told it will arrive next working day.... and nothing. Then on Feb 6th I'm told it would be delivered on 3rd March. At that point I decided to cancel my order and instead I bought the Prosim Lite V2. By the sounds of your review though it looks like I made the right decision! You should definitely give the Prosim Lite V2 a go as that fixes your complaint about this shifter, but be warned, its very loud!
Hi Karl, the shift resistance setting can be adjusted with the two black screws on each side.
Just loosen the M12 nuts and lightly tighten the black screws with a screwdriver.
You can set the click to very hard.
It is possible to adjust the click force from 2-7Kg, a small key is included for the reason that the preload force of the springs can be adjusted, since there is no access with a normal key, it is stated in the manual.
As for the settings in the software, we never stated that this was possible.
Hi, yes I know you can adjust the resistance from 2-7kg I did cover this in the review and went on to say that I liked the default weight.
You did, your webiste says you can adjust the shifter in the software, I literally read it directly from the web page live during the review.
Karl, give the Logitech Driving Force Shifter equipped with the Custom Sim Shop Sequential Mod a go. Good mechanical feeling (in my opinion), can be swapped to H pattern again in a reasonable time, and is one of the cheapest ways to achieve a dual purpose shifter.
Ordered one of these last week but it’s been delayed, might try and cancel it after this. Was only one video on UA-cam when I purchased
Does the ‘clunk’ get any better if you adjust the set screw on the side?

Hi Karl, after watching a lot of your videos on the topic, I have been trying to choose between getting a Next Level Racing Wheel Stand 2.0 or a Playseat Challenge. I am pretty space and budget limited and after much research have cut it down to these two. Which of them do you think would be better for general use and future upgradability? I can get them both for a very similar price where I live (like $10-$20 more for the playseat challenge). I currently have a G920 and logitech shifter if that helps.
I always prefer a "full" cockpit over a stand.

ok so i love rally that is what i started with when i got into sim racing so i got the simagic Q1S shifter with neutral switch. i gotta say i love that thing the neutral switch it great for when you crash witch happens a lot for me lol and the price wasnt to crazy $239 dollars
I has SG racing Pro i do not regret at all, it is really great and i’m very picky😂
Were this shifter is going to be most useful is when noise is a premium, at night. None of that chunk, chunk you go on about. Looks nice though. I have the 2015 DSD Pro Sequential Shifter, no clunk clunk but perfect whilst racing at 12pm, and still looks nice, and my neighbours still like me.
Thats true the quiet operation is a postive for some!
Hi Karl, your giverway the other day inspired me to buy another sim racing set up, not sure why i did but i sold everything a while ago, maybe because i reached 60, lol. I just bought the Omega Art rig again but also bought the rs12 seat as i think a very good rig for the money, very pleased with RS12 seat. I also bought the thrustmaster t300 Alcantra Edition, trying to do things on a budget and because i have had before i know what it will be like. I do have a question, with the thrustmaster t300 the usb lead is fixed in the steering hub so cant change for a longer one. Can you use just any usb extender, for ps5, thank you Karl.

A few years ago I make a DIY version of this for about $60. But, This without the definitive click sound/feel. it just isn't worth the price. (at least to me).
Honestly this sucks. Cause that shifter looks exactly what I want a shifter to look like, and the height of it looks perfect. But I want that klunk feeling 😢

dude never used a real sequential shifter in his life, i've used meca sq and it feel miles better then fanatec.

one of the most overpriced shifters ive ever seen. why not add 2 spring balls on the base and a "channel" on the shaft to replicate mechanical feeling like SRS? how much more expensive it would be??
