I think the newer models of samsung are better. The ones with the ice maker in the freezer is better as it freezes automatically. Dont buy any fridge with icemaker in the fridge. They will break as the fridge is made to work hard to freeze the water for ice making in the fridge. Lastly, this is the catch. Use the samsung warranty for 2 years and just before the end of the 2 years, do insurance for you fridge so if anything goes wrong, you are covered. 😅
#3 is an older Samsung non-Bespoke design where the water/ice dispenser is going to have frozen icemaker problems. Notice this video doesn't even show you what the icemaker looks like in the video: it's because Samsung knows it's a disaster and has been a major source of class-action lawsuits. Don't buy those types of refrigerators unless you want to constantly thaw out the icemaker every few months! Icemakers belong in the freezer! Not in the refrigerator section... and not exposed via a cutout in the front door which exposes the icemaker to condensation from the outside causing it to build up ice. Buy a simple fridge without an ice maker. If you need an icemaker, get one where it's is in the freezer and not exposed to the outside air. The simpler the refrigerator, the less things to break on you. I'd also avoid #2. You don't need a refrigerator where space is being taken up by a giant Android tablet. Why add all this complexity when all you need is the refrigerator portion. I'd probably avoid #1, too. A Flex zone section that allows it be either a refrigerator or a freezer is simply complexity asking for trouble. #4 and #6 look ok, but really, you can get simpler Samsung models that don't have auto-open door features (really?!) or the beverage center (when there's already a built-in water pitcher to the left of it), etc.
I live my Samsung until the ice maker failed. Problems keeps on returning. Did my research online then realized Samsung always have problems with their ice maker, do NOT recommend them at all.
Samsung refrigerators has a lot of internal issues that are caused by manufacturing and design defects, and if these defects don’t occur within 12 months then the costumers will have to spend more money to fix their mistake haha I am referring to ice makers freezing up and just stop working DO BETTER Samsung
Please people for the life of God. DO NOT BUY A SAMSUNG REFRIGERATOR. Bought one in 2021, for almost 3k$, it just shit the bed now august 2024...maybe its a fuse problem....have fun trying to find that. Nobody carries those fuses. Special order: and im HOPING ITS A FUSE PROBLEM. Never again

All modern fridges are very complicated, that doesn't make them bad. It makes them prone to break easily.
