I agree, Peter and Ace were amazing!!! Paul and Gene as well, but I didn't think my boy Peter the Catman Criss and Ace got their due in the early days and prime!!! It is a shame that the highest selling American rock band sad to say over the years have bashed each other and said very nasty things to each other? Paul I didn’t purchase a single Zeppelin record but I purchased the first 4 Kiss records several times to me Ace was so original and inspiring honestly I still can’t duplicate what he played on those records but I still try 🥂

I Always remember looking at Circus and Cream Magazines. The Top 10 bands So they say that we’re voting by the fans. The 10 Ten drummers. The best 10 guitar players. The top 10 vocalist and it was always Led Zeppelin number one and KISS number two and then the next month it would be Kiss number one and Led Zeppelin number two, Aerosmith three and so on. But it was always Kiss and Led Zeppelin that held the number one and two spots. For both band, best guitarist, best drummer, which I find so hard to believe because give me a fucking break Peter, Doesn’t hold a light next to the great late John “BONZO” Bonham
What club or hangout was at 5th & 11th street ? I’ve been at that exact location and on the NW corner there’s an eerie looking tree that I took a picture of . That’s just a few streets up from Washington Square Park .
