Detroits are just amazing man, not garbage truck related, but in high school our school bus company was filled with second gen crown buses. Those things were beautiful and hearing those detroits do their magic was wonderful. Watching this video gave me memories of that for sure haha, like Mr. Budiman said, thanks for blessing our earholes Mike!
Man those were the days! I remember I would always hope my class would get assigned to that bus back in elementary and junior high. That sound scared me yet it was fascinating.
Crown or bust. Literally the only reason I got hype for field trips back then lol. You're all lucky LA kept theirs around for so many years. My district replaced them well before I ever graduated highschool.
Oh yes we like that sound 😍 my local bus service company use to run buses with the same engine in them. Type up "Dublin Bus KD class" on google if you are interested but anyway nice video!
thank you for blessing my earholes
any time
Lol
that is AWESOME, truck is 34 years old.....! Dempster Route King 2 has stood the test of time!
Man, the sound of this truck is amazing!
That city must not have emissions checks on vehicles. Still fun to watch such an old truck in operation.
I just imagined sitting in a supercoach for a good 6 minutes. Love that engine, sucks that it’s so scarce in CA. Great post
any idea if there are any images / vids of the old heil 5000 with mismatched cart tippers?
Love that black smoke.
great video! I love the ccc's

CDSTrashman Dude yeah! I remember actually waiting in line longer sometimes just so I could ride in the Crown. All of it was worth it!
