- Here's a simple hand speed workout you can do in 5 to 10 minutes depending on your current bpm limit. This is one of my favourite hand speed routines on the drums.
Hope you'll have fun with this! Don't stop dreaming, and don't stop drumming!

Suggested way to use the Routine :
3-4 days a week. 1-2x per day.
Raise the tempo by 2bpm every week.
After 2 months of consistently following this routine, take a good 2 week break from this workout.
Repeat until your desired bpm.
Feel free to ask any questions, share your problems and experiences, help inspire and motivate others around here.
It's all about gradual, methodical, consistent effort that leads to success.
Don't stop dreaming, and don't stop drumming!
What type of practice pad is that?
I love this, and I really appreciate how you put it together to make it easy to just pull up and play to it everyday.
My pleasure :D I hope this really helps you in the long run!
Have been using both your hand and double kick speed videos and am already seeing improvement in speed/control in just a couple weeks by far the easiest thing to follow consistently on yt
Thanks for sharing how it's work for you. And real kudos to you for sticking to it consistently too. There are many others who don't, especially when it gets bumpy and they stop progressing as intended. I look forward to more of your journey!
Thank you sooo much. Its very usefull training
Glad to hear that, all the best!
Thank you! You are the BEST! 🤘
Cheers!
Ya ima use this 3 times a dayyy
thank you so much. I'll do it right now
All the best!
I love the idea. Great idea and video. Is it possible to make a video for all levels so you can just follow along? Easy to use as reference.
Very informative and useful. I think it's important to rest particularly at higher tempos. Resting helps building endurance. Thanks!
You have the best lessons, content and play alongs. Keep up the great work! 🤘
Thanks, will do!
THANK YOU SOOOOO MUCH UNCLE WEI LUNGGGGGGGGGGG
So i joined a drum competition and the song was a shocker!😅
The song has the spam on the cymbals and its over 220 bpmmmmm
Ive been searching for a day and got GOOD NEWSSSSSSSS
IVE GOT YOUUUUUUUUUUUU😂😂😂😂😂😂
Hahah go for it!!!! And all the best for that song! 😁
Do you have any videos on bass pedal maintenance? Mine have gotten a bit old and need some love, but I'm not sure if there are certain products (like lubricants) I should be using on the hinges/springs?
Awesome routine, I will do it. But why don't you add triples to any of your exercises? That's crazy how different it is to play compare to simple eighths for beginner drummer
There's lots of triplets here ua-cam.com/video/5BTB7IEkhTo/v-deo.htmlsi=tLPjEYwVxWjbwGFw and here ua-cam.com/video/9NQnmkXdkS8/v-deo.htmlsi=nYfntQ9W8YNX-A0r
Those are more advanced though and I wouldn't recommend beginners to do that because of the permutations.
The workout I built here is for all levels. No reading needed, if your tempo isn't very good it's okay because it's just 8ths and 16ths. And for advanced people, just crank it up for a good muscle workout.
Hey man, what size sticks are you using?
I'm using Wincent One Ok Rock signature sticks here. I also use Vater Assault and 5BB.
@@ArtOfDrummingHQ Thanks! Do you agree that heavier and bigger sticks makes for playing faster easier?
