- We're finally leaving Florida on Day 9 of my 3000 mile road trip to Florida and back. After a stop in Wildwood for a Conrad-Yelvington GP30 and baby gators, it was onward to Valdosta, where CSX L730 and G&W's Valdosta Railway were working together to interchange cars.
Next stop: Cordele, one of the hotspots of central Georgia. A parade of CSX trains, including rare ex-Florida Central (FCEN) CF7 #50 on M514, was interrupted by a single NS intermodal heading for the FEC in Jacksonville.

This channel is just amazing
Great video Harrison and man, those Genesee & Wyoming "punkins" are showing up all over the place!
But you know what really grabbed my attention? That crenelated brick tower in Cordele! It looked positively Medieval and I couldn't help but wonder what it's purpose was? A watertower for the municipal water system? It might have been railroad at one time but seemed a bit elaborate for railroad use. Anyway it's cool whatever it is!
Thanks for posting!
I love the CF7, thanks for this capture !
Amazing video man
Sweet to hear them slap across the double diamonds
Beautiful to see the heat from the CSXT stacks
We here are accustomed to seeing black smoke from the ex Pan Am stacks of BERX
Another as usual excellent video
Great video. I used to live in Valdosta. Didn't know that NS and CSX cross over
Super!🚂🚂
Look at that!!!! Timmy Mellon is now a caiman 😂😅
😆😂🤣CRASHR on the NS rack🤣😆😂
Sounds like G&W is trying to emulate the horrible horns of NS SD60’s
