Here's another Fink style piece I did awhile back. 😁 ua-cam.com/video/cADSV-DDx4o/v-deo.html
great job! I worked with Ed Roth while he was living in Manti Utah! He would make wooden stand up figures of Rat fink for his front yard! One of his houses was pink ,so not hard to miss! Anyway ,He let me have one of his hand made Rat Fink Stand ups .I still Have it ,along with my Tattoo .He drew it on ,then I had someone in Salt Lake City tattoo it and color it! Ed was a great guy! I never knew anyone who could eat so many Cheeseburgers in one day!
"Try better next time"!.....I'm 63yrs old , have been paintin' since backin school.....to this day, I too ,ALWAYS try better next time!....(You've got the skill and more importantly, the right attitude)...Keep up the GREAT WORK!- (Thank-you for the "extra effort" in filming and posting for all ofus to share!)
Ha ha you caught that, most people don't make it that far into my videos. I definitely learn something new every video and just want to be better than I was yesterday. Thanks for stopping by and commenting, Happy New year!

Big Daddy would be proud. This is a very unique R.F. piece. You work with what you got which is exactly what the R.F. character does.👍

That came out really nice. I have not painted any Rat Finks for over five years. A woman came by my booth at Pomona and asked if a certain Rat fink piece I made was for sale. I said no I’m keeping it, It brings in customers. Unbeknown to me she was Big Daddy Roth’s widow. She had a booth space close to mine. She said I had her husbands touch and invited me to become a licensed Rat Fink artist. We discussed the particulars and I agreed. She then told me until you come into the fold do Not paint anymore Rat Finks. We shook on it. (She had a Kung fu grip) I’ve kept my word. I’ve never painted one since. I carve monsters and tikis now. Hand paint signs and a little pin striping between my 9 to 5 of hunting people down over a 300 mile radius to serve legal papers.
Cool story, I've heard the Ed Roth estate is on top of it when it comes to copyright and what not. Rightfully so I mean Ed made quite the icon when he created him.
Sounds like we have overlapping interest. I've never really gotten into craving though
Fun idea and fun looking jobb. Nice work💪🏻

As always, damned amazing and inspiring work with the brushes, your technique, the way you create layers, etc. The spray-can flies though, bloody brilliant! Always liked Ed "Big Daddy" Roth's style and Ratfink is such an icon. You truly did Ratfink and Big Daddy Roth justice with this piece!
Thanks yeah this one was fun I think I'll try to do a rat fink annually, such an icon. And the spray cap flies I'm pretty proud of hahah. Thank you for watching!
Awesome work man!!!
I know I’m late, but I have a question about the mdf.
Do you sand and paint it white?
Or does is come pre painted?
The stuff I used in this video was prepainted. But if you don't have a pre painted mdf, just sand it with a 220 and hit it with a primer. Good question!
Hell yeah!!! So fucken cool, thanks for sharing your process with us. Amazing piece!
Thank you I appreciate it!
When you outlined and did his yellow button were just a couple of the times it was like visual ASMR for me. Very satisfying to see one paint swoop.
HA HA thank you! Thats what I'm going for
