These are Skullmazing and I'm sure when my daughter sees this video she and I will be making some! Thanks for sharing your creative thoughts and recycling ideas. Y'all rock and I can't wait to see more Creepy Crafty Creations.☠️
I've seen this idea before, but never been impressed with the results. Your method for getting the detail makes the difference, IMO. Thanks for sharing.
Hey y’all! This is fantastic! After the pandemic, my husband and I were forced to move into his nieces basement apartment. Good thing about that is her husband is a contractor. He has lots of tools I use for my crafting including a heat gun!! And wouldn’t you know it, I save milk jugs! So I know what I’m making! Thanks for the “how to” video!! See ya soon! ❤️💜💚
Your video is exactly why I love UA-cam. Interesting videos that I never would have thought of. Keep up the great work you're doing. You all look like a great couple also.
I have used milk jug quarts to create giant monster hands for a costume. I designed it so most of the jug was palm and I added fingers. I kept the handle free in an opening for me to hold. It was very effective
You two are brilliant! Love this idea! I use to collect milk jugs ‘cause I knew one day they’d come in handy. Hahaha oh boy! The day is mine! Thank you for sharing!
I loved this so much! I needed a bunch of skulls for a project I wanted to make, but I kept putting it off because I thought it was going to cost me a ton of money to buy a bunch of fake skulls. You guys saved me! Thank you! Amazing job!
Every time I try to buy a Skull off Amazon, they turn out to be Kid sized skulls. I want bigger, like the one you have.. maybe you could add a link for where to buy that model skull?
I don't do "spooky"/gore because I have vivid, sometimes violent nightmares, my husband is a combat veteran and emergency medical provider, and our kids get bad dreams from some of the gorey commercials and billboards haunted houses like to vividly advertise around Halloween time, but as a crafts person I want to thank you for this excellent method to reuse material to form around a mold. UA-cam suggested this video to me and I am very grateful for your excellent tutorial without the horror other Halloween crafters often include in their craft tutorials. Thanks for keeping it kid friendly so my kids can enjoy this video and not have nightmares! I have a ton of ideas of items to try this method with 😊
First 5 seconds - that pile of skulls - if they visited the Killing Fields Museum Cambodia, perhaps they wouldn’t enjoy making it. I dunno, or perhaps they would...
Ya I agree. Ever since my father died Halloween grosses me out. Was one of my fav holidays. Now 😞 I even gave away all my Jack & Sally merch. To each their own I guess.
This is a fantastic idea! Learning how to do this is a game changer for my Halloween decor! Thank you so much for making these videos for your fellow spooky people!
So very creative, however, where did y'all get that model skeleton head? I looked for it in the description but I guess y'all left that out. Where did y'all get it at?
So, when you gave us the list of supplies needed, you failed to list a very important much needed scull. Do you have a tutorial on how to make these skulls without the scull? I watched your part 2 and did not see how to make them without a one.
Wanna make a skull? Me:"YEAH"! OK...the FIRST thing yer gonna need ...is a SKULL. ME: "DAMMIT"!!!!!! 😂😂😂😂 All joking aside you're both talented and I'm glad I came across your channel❤❤
I never would have thought to do that that's ingenious love it! Working smarter not harder. You could take out a portion of where the back of the skull is take it out from then glue the seam.
Hello, I use several different model skulls . My favorite 1 is a bucky skull. Which can be found on ebay or amazon. I also use a resin and ceramic model skulls. Thank you.
These are great! I hadn't thought to use milk jugs for projects like this, there's got to be all kinds of fun stuff one could make.....I see a rabbit hole for me to dive into! LOL EDIT: I found that wearing cotton/poly knit gloves under a size larger latex/nitrile gloves will provide a modicum of protection from the heat of your project. (even works pretty good for handling hot food!). Happy Creepy Crafting!
This is awesome. I am definitely going to be using this to make my thing I need for next year. It will probably take me a whole year to make the amount of skulls that I will need for it. Can’t wait to watch the video on painting and aging them.
Hi! Could you list the Product Detail Page for where you got your skulls? I couldn't find the bucky skulls; and when I read about resin, it says a heat gun will melt it? And of course the heat would melt a plastic one, so I'm lost. My pocket book keeps melting too, so those expensive ceramic ones are out, and I only want to buy one once. Help! Thanks much!
Now I gotta disassemble my 400 ft long water jug yacht base to make Halloween decorations. Thanks but you coulda posted this video 4 years ago and saved me a lot of time in disassembly….
I was already planning to up our Halloween game this year with DIY foam pumpkins but because of this tutorial... my heat gun arrived in the mail yesterday 😁 I'm so excited. Thank you so much!!! Our HOA is gonna hate me 😂
They look great, certainly male a fantastic halloween display. Great thing is they're waterproof too. Could maybe make a blood fountain running down them for more gorey effect. Great video
Wow, I love how you came up with the idea! I'm not into skulls..but the idea to use it that way is still neat! It gives me a lot of ideas for stuff I want to make and I need to get some water anyways haha!

Are all milk jugs the same? Yours seem to easily shrink down and stay molded, mine didnt want to shrink and actually popped back out when just a little heat got near it again. It did not want to take any details. What is the plastic code on your jugs Thanks
Already saving jugs but I'm curious do you do anything specifically to prep them as far as cleaning? I've been just rinsing them out with water but terrified that fun smell that still lingers won't go away.

Finally I know what to do with all my empty water jugs, and what to fill the crawlspace of my house with!
Yes, our crawlspace is full so we hade to think of something else to do with the skulls.
Easy there, Pogo. Stay original and use the attic.
You may joke but I’m actually gonna do this now 😂
LOL!
This comment is beautiful to me. We should obviously be friends!
Thank you. Thank you for making a straight-up instructional youtube video, that isn't a commercial in camouflage!
