    I have a solar/turbine charger similar to that one, the brake indicator is on? And not able to adjust voltage for a full battery? Help me out please!

    I have the same hybrid wind and solar controller and it shows brake and its not showing charging current battery has 24.6 v and the brake should be on 27.5. But its showing brake now even before it has reached 27.5. Can you help me with this please.

    Hi, how do I test to see if I get power from the wind turbine on the controller?
    I got 5kw wind turbine connected with 48v lithium battery. Set the voltages correct.
    Problem I have is when the wind turbine is spinning there is no input on the controller. What do I need to do?

    altough i have never heard anyone talking about getting the power from the pee pee? atleast in relation to charge controllers hahaha
    jokes aside ,,it would be very nice with a video explaning the load settings as it seems that there is several

    hey. how are you sure that once the "BRAKE" is applied it actually does pass everything to the DL resistor and is not shortcutting the UVW inputs? have you actually seen the resistor heat up in the BRAKE stance?

      The resistor does get warm on mine when it is windy

    Hi does the wind turbine cable can be put in any order? u/v/w theres not polarity?

      Yes. It is 3 phases so order does not matter.

    I have been using this exact controller for a couple of months now. There is one problem though, the voltage reads incorrectly. At a true 14.4 volts it reads 13.8 volts. After adjusting for the difference in the other settings there have been no issues. Overall it's not bad just off in calibration from the factory.

      yep i have had one for 7 months and have found it to be a very good solarcharge controller (pwm) 6 x 100 watt 12v panels 2series 3 parallel (300w 24V) for a 24V battery and i worked very good altough i would recommend to mount a extra heatsink on the back as it tended to run a bit hot, here in winter in overcast conditions it outperforms my big mppt system (watt for watt) 1/6 of rated panel power contra my big system under 1/10 of rated power

      Voltage reading maybe shifted because of long connection (high resistance) bad connections etc. have you tried to measure voltage on controller inputs using other voltage meter ?

    Can you take 2 turbines and run them together? Or do they have to have there own controllers?

      SEPERATE. the output from each turbine with have mis aligned wave output. unless you can sync the waves you must have seperate controllers

    Hi I have this controller on 12 and on b1 my batterys on 12.3 volts and brake on and its dumping all my power please help

      Provide more info: what is the voltage of generator, that chemistry of battery. 12.3 is far to low to stop charging for any known chemistry (wet acid, agm, lifepo4 lion) give more info I will try to help

    Thank you for this video. I have just purchased one but there are no specs for Solar panels. I contacted the factory they said my system can take maximum 800w. My system is a 2kva 24v system. I bought 2x 400v panels. Can you help or do you know where I can get info - its difficult trying to explain in English and they do not understand. Thanks

      Please provide the model of solar panels or Voc (Open voltage) because not the power could be a problem but the voltage.

      I have bought the same system and was also told 800w max for the 24v 2kva system. Not installed yet but Ihave the panels. I got that info from the factory - no further details tho.

      if you are running solar i can recommend the pow mr 450v 80Achargecontroller/3000w inverter combined unit ,they work well, are cheap (same prize as a 3000w inverter alone) i use these unit for turbines alone ,,the solar side on these are pwm but the wind should be mppt i have run 6 100w 12v panels trough one of these in series 3x2 panels esentially 3 x100w 24v panels about 40/42v open circut it got fairly warm but had no problems , but you have to tjek open voltage on panels , i belive the wattage rating on these china items are fairly overrated i never run these at more then 70% of rating and the cooling is very poor it might be good to mount the controller on a heatsink of some kind, a piece of aluminium plate and some stand off so air can cool it from the backside also

    i been looking at this none stop for the past 3 months. was about to buy today. but i am still trying to figure out some stuff on it. like. what is the deference in the color screen and the one you have ? is it there newest model? other one is. can this be chained. other words. having more then one unit back to back. say i have 1000watt solar 1400 turbine. chaining them so i can run another 1000watt 1400 turbine. instead of running another setup.. also. who is the best to buy from. i read bad reviews on the china models. some clam there not true MPPT. some clam that if you open them up all the chips or wiped off so you can not repair it or alter them. forcing you to rebuy them. and some say there not getting the right watts out of them. these or the things that you see everywhere and make it hard on where and what to get. i run solar atm. and been looking to upgrade to wind and water. cause of where i live. i have a guest of heavy wind throw the pathway. 15mph winds feels like 30mph winds and water none stop stream. so this would help IF i can find the right one. sorry for the long text but i can not get no answers out here. and this compony dont answer there phones. that is the other thing.

      I have one like this one. On the wind, it doesn't start charging until 10 volts. I bought a Pikasola and it starts charging at 4 volts. As far as the Chinese turbines, you don't get near the power that they claim. I only get 16 volts in a 50 mph gust. Which doesn't even cut it when it's a 24 volt system. You're better off buying more solar.jm2cw

      @@shaymus1968 i am running 1500watts in solar atm. my problem is night fall. i am not running a windmill i well be running a water wheel but the motor is a 3 phase. why i was looking at this cheap china model. trying to find something i can run both solar and waterwheel same time.

      @@dragonshr280 that would work but, the one in the video, i bought first. It doesn't start charging until it receives 10 volt. I bought a PikaSola and the charging starts at 4 volts. The PikaSola is the better option and cheaper.

      does not brake the wind turbine at high speeds .The controller just stops the charging and the excess energy goes into resistance, but the actual wind turbine does not stop it. Tested by me.
