I've had mine for about a month. Shot it at 600, 700 and 800yds holding MOA most of the time with Sierra 175gr and using a Leupold v2 6x scope. Very impressed with this rifle. Velocity is around 2500fps and with Malaysian ammo about 2600fps. Great shooter for a 16" carbine. 100% reliable.
Great reviews! I’m interested in the Rec10 as I’ve never been a .223/.556 fan. I do have a 1969 AK-47 and I think the 7.62x51 is a great all purpose round. Also looking at the Ruger Gunsight Scout rifle in .308 with 10 round box magazine. The thing is the Barrett’s are in my family so I can get anything in the catalogue for half off dealer cost I believe. So I’d love to throw down on this Rec10. I don’t know how you do it, living in Commiefornia that is.
You should check out the the new Recce Rifle from BCM chambered in .300 blackout... They're comparable to what you're holding in your hand and cost no where the same price!!!
@@rtakahashi Almostt $3k for a rifle that wont shoot MOA. That's total bullsh*t, I don't care who makes it. Just dayum. That's what I thought, just nobody wanted to admit it. The rifle won't shoot worth a damn. I have $300 SKS that shoots about that good.
@@rtakahashi I understand that, but for that kind of money, anything less than MOA performance is unacceptable for me personally. Maybe LMT will wise up and shave a couple of lbs off their MWS.
@@rtakahashi Thanks, for the answer. But I'm from Spain and here the 308 is prohibited in semi. I would have the option of 6.5 creemord (this if it is legal in semi. A nonsense, right?. Idiot politicians ,,,,). You think which will be just as light? And the recoil, is it sand it? Thank you very much from Barcelona.
Looking toward to the DMR version. Thanks sharing your setup, it helps us regular folks sort things out.

great to hear! i'm stretching mine out next month with a couple other rifles. Maybe i'll make another video.
Great vid man. Thanks for taking the time.
Awesome review and sweet Boards in the background man!

Nice review! Going to set one of these up for night hunting.
nice!
That thing is dope.... $$$$
have you heard if they are going to make a piston rec 10? I have the piston rec 7 and love it.
Probably depends on how well the DI does but, I'll ask

I'm in Cali. Where did you by the Rec 10?
you have to get it online and shipped to your local gun shop. www.theoutpostarmory.com/catalog/rifles/semi-automatic-rifles?brand_id=75&page=1
What's the thread pattern on the muzzle? 5/8 x 24?
pretty sure but didn't check
It's God ✊✊✊🙏🙏
Got any accuracy data yet? Have you shot any groups at 100 yards? Seems weird that no one with a Rec 10 on UA-cam has posted any accuracy results.
Probably because they’re not accurate because of the lighter barrel. I would say over 1-1 1/2 moa

@@tenwalls2428 it’s more of a battle rifle then a dmr but they’re suppose to make a dmr version

@@tenwalls2428 well I never took slow shots and never used match ammo.
How do you see the weight of the rec10, for a slim person? it's very heavy ?
Definitely not heavy and i would say it’s light for a 308
