I'm an lucky asshole born 1970. I have grown up with most of the rock and metal bands who are on the edge of retirement. And i am grateful to have seen most of them live🤘🤘🥰🤘🤘 Please don't get me wrong. I think it's awesome that they're still playing. And everytime i get the opportunity i still attend their concerts 🤘🥰🤘
I'm 46 years old and grew up with CELTIC FROST EXODUS SLAYER and VENOM. now I listen to bands like AKHLYS BATUSHKA CHAOS MOON LYKATHEA AFLAME and SCHAMMASCH.
Indeed, it seems Celtic Frost came back a thousand times heavier and darker. Monotheist was unbelievable. Not that their old stuff wasnt powerful, but Monotheist blew my brains out.
@@greekneek i am 52 years old with 5000 metal records and whole discography of Sabbath...do you want me to proceed????? IN MY OPINION YES...CELTIC FROST ARE MORE INFLUENCIAL TOT HSI THING WE CALL BLACKENED METAL!!!
@@panagiotischaralampopoulos7152 im just messing bro, you said metal overall so i mentioned sabbath.. for black metal of course you are correct kalo mina. na se kala
Me and a buddy talk about how we're lucky to have been born when we were. We missed the 80s and were born in the 90s, but at least the older bands are still touring so we can see em once before they all retire. Saw Hellhammer and the OG Misfits in vegas. Thatll never happen again probably. Who cares if youre in debt, see em before theyre gone for good. Metal for life amigos.
Necromantical sintetiza todo o poder do CF, chão desse lugar deve ter tremido quando começou esta música, pqp, o metal extremo como deve ser! Frio, pesado e minimalista!
I was introduced to this group back in the 80s by a dear old friend who sadly is no longer with us. They are one of the best thrash death metal bands out there. I never did get to see them. Back then I was still listening to Iron Maiden , who also rock.
I really appreciate when a band is able to change the way their old stuff sound live, I don't if I could express myself properly, but the thing is that all the old songs sound "doom" at this gig. Great job.
Remember the 80's,buying To Mega Therion and Into the Pandemonium on vinyl, before that heaviest I bought was punk and Motorhead, Sabbath, Venom etc, big joy for Frost
Saw them on the last tour they playd and now today is sad to say godbye to one of the Members. Martin Rest in Peace. Your sound helped me in hard times.
Anders Odden have a really heavy guitar sound. He was really the right choice as guitarist on this tour. The Norwegian is now back in his first band, Cadaver!
I know what you mean man, I just watched it for the second time. It's just so goddamn brutally heavy that it just mesmerizes me. Can you imagine being there? WOW
Too bad this isn't actually the full concert 'cause the band played Procreation (of the Wicked), Dethroned Emperor and The Usurper before Ain Elohim... Still, this is one of the best shows on Wacken 2006!
This is what darkness sounds like. I'm talking a mile underground, sealed in a sarcophagus with the interior painted black. Iconic guitar tone and HEAVY AF. I was lucky enough to see them twice. First tome on Into The Pandemonium and last time on Monothiest tour.
Dude I'm 48 and first heard Into the crypts of Rays when I was baout 13 - back then and to this day it still sounds like it was recorded underground to me - youre the first person who I have heard describe it like that
I saw Celtic Frost at Blondie's in the 80's several times! ⚡🙋

All of Wacken was standing in awe. Wow
That might be down two whole steps.... Monster tone!
It's tuned in B! So It is two steps and a half down!
Indeed, it seems Celtic Frost came back a thousand times heavier and darker. Monotheist was unbelievable. Not that their old stuff wasnt powerful, but Monotheist blew my brains out.
the most influencial band in metal history.
a category on their own
YOU KNOW THE STORY!

Yet to hear a better 'comeback' album than Monotheist. Great era for CF.
Best band ever to exist.
In the top 5 without a doubt.
I know they fell out....but Franco Sesa's drums are incredible on this
Does he play in any band nowadays? Love his playing here.
🥁🔱💥🔥🙋
Great line up, each one of them is such a badass performer. Too bad they couldn't get along better behind the scenes.

amazing performance right here. And the drummer completely Kills it ! awesome share

Любимая группа моего друга. Друг умер от сердечного приступа. Теперь я люблю Селтик
That drummer is a beast
He is, but he is just playing what Reed St. Mark played on the album.
Boy Howdy !
This live is pure liturgy and this guitar is like liturgical vessel
RIP Martin Eric Ain. Thank you!
Tru metal. Fuck yeah. Tom for President of the world.
Anders Odden have a really heavy guitar sound. He was really the right choice as guitarist on this tour. The Norwegian is now back in his first band, Cadaver!
