This is so comprehensive. Thank you!!
one of your best video, Charm! Thank you, this is very informative. Keep it up girl!
I watch UA-cam only when I have to research about certain things. I definitely subscribed to your channel. Quality videos!! Thank you for existing.
Appreciate how precise the explanations on both sides. Let's keep learning! :)
Love the content especially the sample computations! Keep it up!
This is the best channel in UA-cam!
Great video! This debate is such a personal thing, depends on so many factors like geography, place in life, lifestyle, etc. My biggest financial mistake was buying a condo. Love that you mentioned opportunity costs as a pro for renting, nobody brings this up. My lifestyle is to travel to different places for 3 months at a time so definitely in the team rent.
Wow! Great explanation and pov. This actually pulled a lot of thorns from the pressure of buying a property. You’re not bias at all. I think it’s safe to say to watch this kind of videos first than talk to a financial advisor and the like because they’ll put a big pressure and assurance that’s far from reality (sometimes). You’re right, when I think about our 35K mo. loan house repayment for 15years, compare to when we were renting for only 10K, it’s such a burden but somewhat thankful.
Last time I saw your channel it's 72k subscribers, now it has 100k+ , wow that was fast charm. Just continue being excited for every master piece you'll make, just like this one❤️✨
those real estate videos getting a ton of views fast...
keep it up
nearly 100k
Thank you. The point on having other investment first than real estate got me. I'm a fresh graduate, so I will rent a place nalang muna after ng pandemic, after WFH.
Hi Charm!
Could you also please discuss on your next video about buying a land especially those that are offered on installment basis. Its pros and cons also if possible with sample computations please.... 😊
Thank you po Ms. Charm! I really appreciate providing these information on your channel. God Bless po!
Amazingg video 💯, the information you have in this video is valuable for anyone considering how to choose in buying or renting. Thankks!

Angas! 💪
Very informative and practical video
This is very helpful. A lot of people are also encouraging me to buy a property but upon computing the PR ratio, I got more than 35. I guess renting is good for now but I am still eyeing to buy our own house in the future. 😊
Wow! Intense yung 35!
I learned a lot. Thank you
Hands down THE BEST video that broke down the differences, pros, and cons of renting and buying! Thank you so much for this very insightful video, Charm 💕

Thank you Charm. This is probably the debate my boyfriend and I have not fully come to agreement with. At least there is someone educating us how we can arrive to a common decision.

💕💕💕
I'm happy renting a semi furnished apartment in Benguet for 4,100 pesos inclusive of water, electricity, and internet bills.
I Agree for the not more than 28% to be alloted whether your renting or buying/investing for a house.
Very on point! Learned a few things today.
Hi Charm, I just came accross your videos and all are very informative and helpful. I really want to watch videos related to investing. I actually bought a house and I'm just wondering if I can ask you some questions and advise 🙂 thanks much 😍
Great topic!!
🤗❣️
Thank You
Thanks Charm. This is very helpful. Our house is almost complete around Rizal which I partially own and I want to have my second home in a condo after five years. But considering what you said in the whole video, I am now seriously considering to rent a condo in Makati. I don't see myself staying in one place for a very long time, ten years is actually too long for me. It's really good to sit down and talk about these matters as renting has a very negative connotation (I grew up with it) but with all the points you mentioned, it's not as bad as it may seem and might really work better for some people.
So glad it helped you out! ☺️ Both talaga has it’s pros and cons. Depends on the person’s lifestyle and goals ✨
Thanks for the video. I've been stressing for over 2 weeks now on whether to buy or rent. This video helps my situation somehow.
You got this!
Thanks you soppurt idol
Hi Charmaine, I really liked this video, what can you recommend kickstart books or blogs for real estate investment 😄
Hiiiii *I'm earlyyyy*
Very insightful
Glad you think so!
Hello Charm!
Thank you so much!!!!
Thank youuu
Great job for this video! May I ask if the numbers presented in the video are still updated up to this year 2023? Thank you!
Quick tip. Move more. More your hands more, move your arms more, move your body more. It sounds silly but i truly think it can help with your engagement rate.
I learned a lot from this video so thank you
Super helpful
❣️❣️❣️
Thank you this is so insightful!

@@CharmdeLeon By the wayy, the 6% unrecoverable cost when buying: Does this continue even AFTER you finish paying out the loan?
Because when I think about it, you'll continue having unrecoverable costs if you rent, for sure. But if you buy, will unrecoverable costs go down eventually?
@@hannahpot001 unrecoverable costs continue also for a house you own. (Real estate prop tax, repairs/maintenance/HOAs). Money that goes to loans’ capital is not an unrecoverable costs because you’re building asset.
Super helpful! I have learned a lot 🔥
thank you for your video, been battling if I should continue renting or just getting another unit. I have one on pre-selling status. will save up and continue renting first and decide after I have enough cash flow if I will get another unit or just wait for my pre-selling unit be finish.
Thank you 🤗
Love the video ❤️
Thank youuu
@@CharmdeLeon I have been investing on equities and will invest on reits as well. Any thoughts of investing in reits.
Smart girl
thankss for thiss bruh
I'm 21 yrs old, a dropout from college, but somehow, with God's grace got a regular job, so I want to learn these things so that I could put my money in a safe place and how I could possibly invest it to generate more income
and not spend it on unnecessary stuff, cause somehow 1st month into my job and I just thoughtlessly subscribed to a Grammarly one-time payment of annual subscription lol, and regretted it a lot. so BIG THANKS ! :))
"and also, if you haven't already, what are you doing? subscribe to the channel" 😂 ang cuuuute nung what are you doing? lol
Hi. What's your opinion on getting several condos and flipping all of it before the turnover? Is it advisable to get condos on launching/pre-selling price and then flipping all of them at a higher price a year or 2 before the turnover date? TIA
Next topic. Rent to own
5 yrs in canada and still renting, heavily invested in stock market mostly dividend growth stocks so i can retire early.👌
Heard Canada’s properties are crazy expensive. They said that for most cities, it’s smarter to rent?
Can I also invest in international stock market?
@@EmiLy-ht6lq yes. Check out my video on GoTrade
What's your thoughts about lease option? sana mapansin. hehe
Hi im wondering why i can't access to the private group, i hope am not kicked on the group
key takeaway from this video.. rent if you cant afford to buy BUT make sure to save so that you can buy in the nearest future. 😎
Agree. I don’t want to pay for rent when I retire.
Is buying a house for renting a good investment strategy?
hi charm..do u have smthing like this in a condo scenario??
This applies to both :)
If 3500/month renting cost..is it worth to buy or loan a house?
What are your thoughts naman po in investing presell nacondo?
Talked about it here: CONDO BUYING EXPERIENCE: Step-by-Step | REAL ESTATE 101 PHILIPPINES | What you need to know

Just want to validate if I made the right /wrong decision for the property I bought- When using the price/rent ratio or the 6% rule, which price do you use for the property- is it the cost (acquisition cost of the prop) or the current market value of the property?
Cost of the property ☺️
@@CharmdeLeon Thank you!
@@CharmdeLeon By the way, keep on uploading videos. Content is well taught of. Very insightful!
oh boy, this didn't get as many views as i had hoped...
