Thank you for this. I have been looking for this particular topic for a while now. Lately, I've been wondering whether I'm on track or getting left behind. But I can't rely on blogs because everything I've seen is in dollars, and you can't just convert into pesos because it would not be the same. At least from your content, I found out that I AM actually on track with my net worth. ^_^
Yaaay! So happy for you!
Hi mam. Good day...can you help me invest in stock market? I am very much interested.student here.
This was a great video charm!! Loved how you also suggested some actions to take to reach the goals you listed for each age 😄🙌 Also... MALAPIT NA 100K IM SO EXCITED FOR YOU AAAAHHH LETS GOOO 🚀

Always watching your videos, Ate Nicole and Ate Charm. ♥️ It's very inspiring and interesting. ✨
Kelan po kayo mag cocollab?
Mid-twenties here. Binge watching your vids and Nicole's vids. Never too late, right? Repeat after me: Everything I need, I already have. Everything I have is all that I need.
Sigh, I really wish your channel existed when I was younger. You are doing a lot of people good with your solid advice. Thank you for educating us. I look forward to more of your videos.
I like how unintimidating you introduced all of the steps you need to take, especially the ones in your 20s (particularly in investing). Giving us a semi-specific figure to work towards to and specifying the steps is really helpful. I also appreciate how you considered the median and not the average salary, because a lot of people start off with a low salary, most of the time lower than 22K even. Thanks for this video, Charm!
Thank you! 🙏🏻 Yah, median vs average has a huge disparity nga
Articulate, straightforward, concise - your qualities that make your YT channel standout. Keep going. 👏
Ahhhh excited 😍😍
Thank you Ms. Charm for this timely and relevant video. I am turning 29 this year and I am just learning about financial literacy just recently. I know its kinda sound late but its better to be late than never. This is a very informative and helpful video. I am motivated more than ever to reach my financial goals. I am still learning but I know I will able to do it. Thank you for teaching us and hopefully you may continue to upload videos about personal finance. Happy 100k subs Ms. Charm! 💕
To have a credit card was part of my goals! So happy to hear that I'm on track 😊
I keep on refreshing thinking I might missed other videos, but already watched and rewatched them all lol. Binge watching here 🤪 and keeping notes of your tips.
Waiting! Malapit na! 🥰

You’re changing my life for the better!! ❤️❤️
I can imagine this video could have been EITHER dreadfully difficult or remarkably easy to do. Appreciate you for this content, Charm.:)
thankful to your channel!! I mostly learned my personal finance strategies thru you!
Great video, Charm! Best of luck to you moving forward.
Happy 100k, Charm! Your channel deserves more subscribers. You are really an inspiration to people who want to be financially stable like me. I hope I can apply the lessons I learned from you. Stay safe always & I will consistently wait for your upcoming videos. ♥️♥️♥️
Excited hereeee ❤️❤️
I love your videos and your personality. As an American who comfortably retired to the Philippines at the age of 35, I have to say the earlier you can invest the better. Aside from your emergency fund and any savings you will need for short-term goals, there is no point in keeping excess cash in your bank account. The rate of inflation will outpace wages so it's best to invest excess capital into the market in order to keep pace with inflation.
wow the fact that you are able to retire at such a young age is just amazing. i hope the same for myself
@@chrisbulanhe’s not retired he’s mooching off of US workers. It’s called investment but that only works if us workers are working.
I'm in my early 20's, graduating student and currently doing a side hustle. Since I don't have enough funds to save up, I'm just gonna save time by learning this now so when time comes I'm earning a lot I can build up my emergency fund and set an investment. As of now, I do have personal finance tracker and sobrang helpful like I can sleep peacefully knowing where all my money went haha Thank you for this informative video. You are really my go to vlogger as well as Nicole Alba when it comes to personal finance and investment.
Yay! That sounds like a great plan 🤗🤗🤗
Thanks for this. My sister and I aren't actually fully aware of our finances so we're really clueless rn. This has cleared the cobwebs in our minds. Save and invest as early as now. :)
Well said! Been following your channel a lot recently! Keep it up :)

very helpful ate charm!!! supporting this channel!! ❤️💯
Yay! Thank you!
I just turned 30 at walang emergency fund, walang assets and properties, still living with my parents. And I'm not from a rich family. (Been living from paycheck to paycheck)
I hope I can catch up to what I should've been saving already. My friends are all successful and have their own families, so I kind of isolated myself so that I can start to progress on my own pace.
Thank you for this video Ma'am.
Learning so much from you ♥️♥️♥️

Will be hitting 30 this year and it's comforting to know na im on the right track naman pala and actually doing a little bit better than expected. I always thought i wasn't doing enough and i always felt like im running out of time. Hahah. But seeing this made me feel better. 😅 Yay!
And also! HAPPY 100K!! Well-deserved silver play button na yannnnn!!! ❤️ Continue to inspire and educate more Filipinos pls~
Thank you 🤗🤗🤗
I love this video thank you for the well detailed explanation in handling finances. :)
This is a best guide for someone like who does not know about financial management. Thankfully, I am still in my 20s and it is indeed very helpful for me to lessen my anxiety of not having a savings when I turn 30. Also, I just started working with a very low annual income which also help me to start low and slowly aiming for a bigger income and investment to the following years of saving. Also, my minimalistic mindset helps too. Thank you so much for you videos Ate Charm
Awesome video! Happy 100k subscribers!

Thanks for this 😇 love the last part though haha
HAHA I accidentally hit the tripod 😂😅
Happy 100k subs! ate!!!
THank youuu
This is a good guide. The median income based approach is a good yardstick. But I think a net worth/ expenses -based approach is better. A retirement fund is a personal goal. Hence, it is a question of your own present lifestyle (i.e., net worth/expenses) vis-a-vis the lifestyle you envision yourself having in the future (i.e., how much money do you really need to sustain said lifestyle). It would also be good if you factor in inflation in your computations.
I envy young people who see content like this. I was so late to the investment game that I had to make extreme effort and sacrifice to reach my own investment goals. I guess I'll end by saying don't be discouraged by what little money you save. Let the concept of time value of money be your friend. The money you earn or invest now will always have better value and utility that what you will earn or invest in the future. Learn to live on less. Lastly, always strive to learn new things; knowledge is power.
❤️❤️❤️
Congrats on the 100k Charm! I remember when you only had around 20k. Galiiiing!

🚀🚀🚀
Congratulations on the 100K Charm! I love how realistic the numbers are! Made me realize I can actually retire in the Philippines if people are not trying to kill me lol!
Thanks, Elaine! ☺️
😂😅😅😅
Im 31 years old and already retired. I had a good paying job in states and i started investing durung my younger years. To make things simple just be happy, have a budget, have a plan, save as much money as you can, invest and live below your means. In the end you wont have any regrets if you know that youve saved up most of your money. Try saving 80 to 90% of your income. If your bills are big try increasing your salary. The goal is to keep increasing your salary so that you can go big in investing so that when the right time comes you withdraw a portion of it and just chillin while others are still working theirselves to the ground.
Start the day you Start working. Set aside 15% each pay check every week
This is gold
Hi Charm! Great insights to how much money a typical Filipino should aim for to have a secure, if not comfortable retirement.
I also liked how you acknowledged the skewed distribution of wealth here in the Philippines. You are correct to use the median income value instead of the average salary :)
Lastly, great citation in the description. :)
Now, I am a 30-year old moustachian myself. I am currently thinking of creating a quick video on the same concept of “how much money should we really have per decade milestone”. Would it be alright if I point to some of your key pointers here in one of my future videos? It’s just that it’s already so distilled and such a great reference for basic personal finance.
Sure! Thank you 🙏🏻 ☺️
Wish I'd seen this way back but it's better late than never. I've started earning some savings ever since I found your channel. Before I wasn't sure how to but now I'm able to. Thank you for sharing this with us.
