    Produce Everything you Consume
    Out on the edges of human space, you can't build a city by spending credits. Instead, you'll have to put your first astronauts to mining work and get some raw materials. Once you have some iron, carbon, sand, and sulfur, it's time to set up your first steel mill and concrete factory to start laying down some infrastructure. Even necessities like food and oxygen require a steady production chain that must not be broken!
    Transport Infrastructure
    InfraSpace simulates every. single. car. Each resource you ever produce needs to be transported to a factory for processing and each product needs to go to a habitat for consumption. Your road network can handle a lot, but without your oversight it will grind to a halt and drown in traffic eventually. Build highways, roundabouts, and multi lane roads to ensure the production heart of the city keeps beating.
    Population Growth
    Your first colonists will be astronauts, the best and the bravest humanity has to offer. Give them food and shelter and they'll keep your outpost running no matter what. As your settlement grows, you need to cover the increasing workload by employing scientists and engineers, which require a few more creature comforts. Any city of sufficient size will sooner or later be home to more and more families as well, so make sure your schools can handle it and you are able to deliver the latest VR-edutainment products as well.
    You don't have to play hard
    Traffic management can be fickle and survival can be tough. You can adjust the difficulties of both to make your city management experience as easy - or as hard - as you want it to be.

    Anyone can play like they want but exploiting the fact that workers get magically to there workplaces and warehouses are global kills for me the whole game to manage that traffic and btw thats the slowest way to get it running i ever saw. How many hours you left the game running to stockpile, but you seem to enjoy the 20 workers on start xD

      The Blue And Green Science actually didn't take nearly as long as I thought it would - now the Yellow and Red I left the computer running overnight with the science queued lol :) As for the traffic - I think the worker transport thing is what sets it apart from City Skylines - here you just focus on getting the stuff to as much people as you can, where there its about getting the people there and the goods back - makes for a different and unique game thats for sure :)

      Hey Noco :) No Prob - next update it is said that they will be releasing the 'locks' on the landing pad (watching the series will explain that more - or ask me on live stream) and will make the game even better to build and populate :)

    Well I now know why I never graduated high school. This right here is it. I can't understand one thing you have said for these designs because my brain doesn't work like that. This video was really confusing to me. If you don't connect roads to things how do you even get materials to your housing?

      So they are connected by roads - just one-way roads - so I make a factory just big enough to supply that core (or in my current series a cube) then directly connect that small factory to it via one-way road. This a) avoids large traffic issues of resources being shared between different factories and b) allows u to test / measure just how much stuff u need to supply that core / cube - feel free to ask for more info if necessary 🙂

    Hey just wondering. was there an update changing the procedural map generation because all my maps are covered in rocky obstacles nowhere near as open as yours

    • @ManiacMax
      @ManiacMax  Рік тому

      So that seed took me forever to find that much open space lol - that being said the enviro update just released makes the map 4x larger and with Laser Beams now able to blast rocks and almost anything out of the way theres lots of build space :)
