Chandi you offer the best free patterns that I have ever seen, very few places offer such nice patterns that are for things bigger than ear warmers or hats, don't get me wrong I love a good ear warmer and hat and such but your patterns just go above what most tend to offer for free!! Your yarns are Gorgeous too!! I love your little company!
Thank you for providing your patterns for free for a limited time! I appreciate you and as a thank you to you, I will be buying myself some luxury yarn from you on the 30th as a 5 year belated 50th birthday gift to myself, lol...at least I hope I can and nothing pops up that needs me having to spend it on something necessary!! I stumbled upon your channel cause my daughter encouraged me to go back to things I like an love to do because of goin through alot of mental distress goggled crochet and there you were I love your channel patterns and your bubbly self Thankyou so much for the last 6 months of crocheting and techniques an trick it’s been encouraging and fun I just enjoy it so much ❤❤
I have collected more shawl patterns than I have made - probably because every time I finish one, I love it so much I make it again and again, which is not a problem since my friends fall in love with them as well. But my goal is to make every one!
I think all of those patterns are lovely. I have done three of those patterns so far this year. For the coming year I want to focus on family and focus on the beauty of nature. In my free time I want to immerse myself in knitting and crochet and be at one with my inner self.
I love to crochet, I really wish I could name a very favorite pattern from this year right now, but I honestly love them all. I also wish I had more time for my projects. Your patterns are so beautiful with a wide range of abilities (beginner to experienced) and I have learned so many more stitches that I'd never herd of before. Thank you so very much for your free patterns, great instruction, and kind encouraging words on Instagram & emails. Your yarns are truely amazing & wonderful to work with. Thank you for everything❣️ Have a Happy New Year Chandi💜😊
Your patterns are all so gorgeous. Not only are they a boost to a person's ego, by proving that even if it is an intermediate, beginner or advanced pattern, if we take it slowly, one stitch at a time we can accomplish something that we are so proud of and surprised that we could do. To top that off, it's wearable!!🙌🏾💪🏾👏🏾. It's impossible to pick one favorite, I love them all. Seriously, for real. I do. I've learned so much about knitting from you. You're an excellent teacher 👏🏾👍🏾
Thank you for your generosity throughout the year...free patterns, weekly giveaways on your lives, and so many more giveaways on your socials. I don't have 1 favorite from this year's patterns, but I think Heartbeat or Prometheus will be on my needles this coming year. Wishing all a blessed, joy-filled year ahead!
Chandi, Thank you for your generosity throughout the years. You have a great team of designers, as well as, awesome selection of yarns. And, of course, the best photographer. 😸😸😸 Love, Light, and Blessings. 🙏😇💫✨🌱🌿🌻🐝🌳🐬🌎💖🙌😺
I just recently started following your channel within the past month and I can't wait to try out the Whulge crochet Shawl. I was searching UA-cam looking for a shawl to make my mom for her 50th birthday this year (2025). 🤞your yarn looks absolutely beautiful too!
I love watching the videos. I've made several throughout the last few years. It's too hard to pick a favorite, they are all so good. You are always such a breath of fresh air. Thank you
I've made two Marine sweaters this year so I can be cozy in all my spaces. The first helped me get through my mom's surgery and recovery in may. The second was a lovely fall meditative pattern to help me stay cozy when I play video games.
Lune was my favorite. This has been an eventful year with some major life changes and I've only recently returned to crocheting. I find myself feeling hopeful for the future and am able to truly appreciate the underpinning of positivity for perhaps the first time since being introduced to the company. It is appreciated.
Hi I love all of the designs and patterns ,am happy to see the whole collection for this year what a joy to see 😊am making one of them the corner to corner with lace pattern. Your collection are a true inspiration thank you .
The first thing I do on Friday is open my email and look for the free pattern Friday email from EFA. I’ve made many of the patterns but my very favorite is the adorn crochet with alpaca silk lace and beads. It was so fun and easy to make and the result is stunning. I wear it all the time and I always get compliments on how beautiful it is. My second favorite is nightshade. This was my first knit project and although very challenging, very gratifying to complete and I also wear this piece often. Thank you, Chandi, for all the beautiful patterns and yarn you make available to us. I look forward to all the patterns to come next year.
I have soooo many files and binders filled with your beautiful patterns. You are so generous with your subscribers and, actually, the whole knitting and crocheting, weaving and spinning community. I am so glad you’re here inspiring all of us. Happy New Year to you and the whole EFA family!🎉
Thank you for your channel! I started watching it about 5? … maybe 6? years ago, when I decided to learn to knit and get back to crocheting, which I had done as a kid. Unfortunately, I’ve only knitted a scarf, but last fall I started 4 projects. Currently, I’m working on aninando and imbrication. I was inspired to really learn how to knit well when I saw Prometheus. I bought that pattern as soon as I saw it! It definitely was my fave of this year and I am determined to be able to make that sweater! I’m super slow at knitting, so I’ve decided to do your Sweater Knit Along course soon. I’m thankful for you and your site and have loved watching how it has grown and expanded! Inspirational!
I love all your patterns. I have bought many and some I got free. Not to mention the beautiful yarn I buy to make those beautiful patterns. I am so addicted to your channel! 🤗😍😍😍
Choose a favorite pattern. That's not possible. I have made quite a few and still have more to make on my to do list. Your patterns are beautiful, and your yarns are gorgeous. I live in Canada, but maybe one day, I'll be able to afford to buy your gorgeous yarns. For now, I make your patterns and watch for new ones. They are inspiring. Thank you so much.

You continue to amaze me with the beautiful patterns you release. You are such a beautiful soul and I can't wait for the patterns next year. I've made a few this year but my favourites that I've made have to be marine and indivisible
Ive loved all of the shawls that you have released this year. They are my favorite things to make. I don't really wear them but I absolutely love making them ❤❤❤❤❤❤
Thank you for giving another chance for the patterns. Your channel had inspired me to do more and explore more in doing crochet and knits. Thank you for the tips and tricks. My favorites are your cardigan patterns. I chose 1 and made a longer version and made it with the colors of the rainbow. I wore it during the pride parade and people are amazed on how it turned out. I've used SOOOOO many of your patterns for crochet! So easy to follow with great results! I'm currently trying my hand at knitting and followed your tutorial for continental knitting! The Aurora pattern was my first super large shawl pattern that I made for my mum's birthday! This was my favourite pattern I've made so far. I wanna make one for myself now!
I absolutely love your yarn and your amazing patterns have taught me so much, especially to challenge my knowledge and learn more and more stitches! My absolute favourite, difficult to choose I admit, is fences, light and elegant, both as a scarf and as a shawl. Thank you for sharing so much with us, you have no idea how much you and your company have helped me during this year ❤
Ohhh they're beautiful!! I'd love to try making one of the crochet sweaters. That is sooo kind of you to let us choose 3 free patterns!! And what a lovely giveaway! 😍
Thank YOU Chandi, for the patterns, the tutorials, the time and thinking invested in each and every video. It's a pleasure watching. I can't choose only 1 favorite, I have almoat all of this year's pattern and I chose the 3 patterns I'll make first - Omorose, nightshade, and snoesig. Such beautiful patterns! I love seeing the year in review like that. I’m so grateful for you, you’ve inspired and enabled me to bring my knitting and crocheting up to a higher level, and it’s given me so much joy. Thank you for all you do, and all the best for 2025! Much love 🧡🧡
Oh my goodness look at all these incredible patterns! I was so happy to expand my knowledge and explore new techniques. I’ve learned so much from you! You are so bless with such talent in your team. Your kindness and generosity are not overlooked. THANK YOU ❤ I can’t possibly pick just one of these patterns, they are all beautiful! 2024 was a great year, I can’t wait to see what 2025 has in store! Happy New Year 🎊
Thank you always for your generosity and this peaceful place on the Internet. I love Fridays and miss you when I can't check your latest video right away! I always wanted to try the Latvian braid so PROMETHEAN is the choice of the year for me... though Serene and Plibben are hot runner ups!!! Always love your yarns, too - they drape so beautifully and feel oh so soft and luxurious!!! I made two versions of VINEYARD for myself and my mother and totally lost myself in the cable within cable pattern... it was like a great novel - IMPOSSIBLE to put down! Have a fabulous 2025!
Chandi, every Friday my husband and I start off date night with watching your pattern video. Thank you for the love and inspiration. (And the shawls he knits me every Christmas! This year was Crystal Roads!!) My favourite pattern has to be... the cardigans. 😂 All of them. You can't choose between your children!! I like that we have beautiful choices in both crafts. ❤
I found EFA in Summer 2024 and have never looked back! I love all your yarns, patterns, and the lovely Chandi's instructional videos and Tuesday live sessions. I've been crocheting my entire life but you have inspired me to teach myself how to knit. It has been a slow go especially purling) but I am so happy to finally be knitting! I would love to make the Mother of Pearl and Lilias shawls this year. Many, many thanks to you, Tim, the designers, and the entire staff at EFA. Wishing you all an amazing 2025!
What a great retrospective! The patterns are so stunning! I do love Frisson. When you said that it was released in April, my first thought was: wait, what? I can’t believe how fast the year has gone! Cheers to what you’ve done, what we’ve all done together, and to the upcoming year and all the promises it holds!
I love this video and you are fabulous yarnway model! What a great team of designers you have and kudos to you and the crew, giving them a spot to shine… I would say that’s my favorite part❤❤❤❤
So many beautiful creations, your videos inspire and set a fire to creat too. I just started 2 months ago to learn crochet and knitting. Thank you so much. Have many many wonderful years to come 🌹🌹🌹
Thank you for such a wonderful year of masterpieces! My favourite, if chosing is even possible, is the Rilie shawl. I wish you, and all at Expression Fiber Arts, a wonderful 2025! See you next year, beautiful soul! 😉 💛
Thank you, thank you for the amazing way that you live out your mission! You bring so much joy to my life with your inspirational words, your continuous encouragement, your beautiful patterns, and the never-ending, breathtaking colors of yarn on your site. May the new year be wonderful!
It is always fun and inspirational to see your videos and lives. You and Tim and your team do a wonderful job creating all the Beautiful patterns and color ways for all of that wonderful soft yarn. Can't wait to see what 2025 brings
OMG! FINALLY got my computer back together! And it's still working! YAY! Oh, a lovely look back! I'm going to say that I'm looking at Wintergladden again, now that I'm not running away from crochet! But Rilie AND Lune...oh there's just so many! I have, thoroughly, enjoyed these patterns and videos this year. I'll tell you, it was your patterns that made me have to learn to crochet! LOL
I look forward to each and every email that comes. They always make me smile.❤ My favorite design is the Papilio. I’m a huge butterfly lover and that’s now my favorite stitch. I can’t wait to see what is next. ❤❤❤
This was an awesome year in review. So many beautiful patterns. I love so many of them, but I think Kaleidoscope is my favorite. It's on my list of projects for 2025. Thank you Chandi for all the inspiration and the wonderful words in your emails.
I love the vineyard. I was one of the testknitters and learned a lot. Love the outcome💃🪢. Made in a green yarn. At this moment I am working with purple EFA bamboo. Stunning like red grapes🍇
Love your patterns and its so generous that you make some free each week. They are next level beautiful and of course your yarn elevates everything no idea which would be a favorite, there are too many beautiful options.
Every Friday morning has been a delight viewing the new crochet pattern. My favorite has been Carbon Copy which I successfully completed and adore. Thank you so much for all you have presented❤
Omgoodness I couldn't pick just one, they are all beautiful, I wish you all the joy your heart can hold for 2025, keep on keeping on. And thank you! ❤🍁
I can't pick! They all so beautiful, but Balmy really caught my eye, so much so that I'm willing to knit again, lol. I usually only crochet lately. You've opened up a whole new world for me after over 60 years. (I was 8, when I learned). I love your yarns.
It's so hard to pick a favorite! All the designs are so gorgeous! I think I'm going to have to crochet Dandelion since those puff stitches look like adorable little hearts!
Hi Chandi! You truly brighten my day with your daily emails. I love the endearments! "...my lil' gingersnap"! 🥰 While I adore many of your crochet patterns (I can't knit--yet!), I absolutely love the Thaw cardigan. I haven't attempted it yet, but maybe I will in 2025. I just downloaded Dandelion, and I am a huge fan of your Moongleam yarns. It is so wonderful to work with! Bless you and yours!❤
I love all your emails and videos, they are always so uplifting! I’ve written down 12 patterns while watching, now I must go put some on my wishlist and purchase some! Thank you for being you, YOU are a sweet soul!❤
I love your free pattern Friday. It has helped me grow as a crafter. I honestly can not pick a favourite as it's usually my current project. I do know that I will be crafting for a lifetime with your stunning patterns. Wishing you all a fabulous 2025. 🎄🌼
Hi Chandi. I could never pick just one pattern. They are all lovely and unique in their own way. Thank you for a year’s worth of exquisite patterns and yarns! Looking forward to what next year brings! Very exciting!❤
There were many lovely items, I made Whulge and Carbon Copy from this year’s patterns, love cellist and Kaleidoscope. But truth be told, there were so many more patterns that I would like to do and am so grateful for your weekly free offerings, the chance to win yarns and your gorgeous yarns. I have quite a collection of your beautiful yarns and am challenging myself to use them. Looking forward to what will be coming up in the new year. Thank you!
I really enjoyed the video. The patterns are amazing and I can't say enough about the yarn. Wish my bank account would always be full because I would be buying your yarn non stop. My favorite pattern would have to be Nuanua. The colors just draw you in. Thanks to everyone behind the scene. You and Tim need to be in the photo business. He captures you beautifully. Can't wait to see what is in store for 2025. Thanks for the 3 free patterns.
I just discovered you, Chandi, and can't wait to start crocheting your amazing designs with your spectacular yarns! My favorite pattern is Alectrona because I live in Santa Fe and it reminds me of the magical sunrises and sunsets here in New Mexico. Thank you for being a ray of sunshine yourself!
Just so many beautiful gorgeous patterns I can’t choose just one! 🥰 how I wish I am able to make them all ☺️ what a fantastic year, and hope for many more !
Pick ONE?! JUST one?! Hmm…that’s tough! A year that was JAM PACKED with glorious designs, indeed! I truly enjoyed the year long CAL and I’m intrigued by the subtle texture in dandelion…my hook is craving something such as this! I love the wearables the mist, though. Shawls and cardigans and tees make my crochet girlie heart sigh in dreamy satisfaction. 🩷. Thank you so much, SO MUCH, for so many glorious designs all year in addition to, scrumptious yarns to accompany them. Brightest blessing on your reflection and your upcoming year ✨ xx
I am so happy I found your website and channel. This is what I have been looking for to take my crochet to the next level. I want elegant timeless pieces and you definitely deliver with all the beautiful patterns and the yarn is go with it. I look forward to upping my game in 2025 with your beautiful fibers. Have a wonderful and blessed new year ❤😊
So many beautiful patterns! I have not yet been fortunate enough to be able to experience your yarn, but I love your patterns and your attitude to life. Thank you so much.
Thank you for all the lovely patterns throughout the year. I’ve made a number of them and hope to make more. Kaleho was my favorite, and I received so many compliments on it. Thank you so much.❤
This was the year of cardigans for me. Only dipped my toe in last year (barely finished any), but this year your tutorials inspired me to complete like ten of them. Loved all your featured summer cardigans, but the designs I would love to try in the future are Heartbeat, Ibisco, and Aravis. Thanks again for another wonderful year of inspired designs that make knit and crochet so satisfying and fun 😊
A year full of amazing peace’s of art that you presented us, I will choose maybe the Aravis pullover, but there’s others so tempted to do, let the new yarn of 2025 will bring us so much joy as this one 🎉💖
As a long-time follower of your yarn and patterns, I was so happy to see the top named “Cellist!” I am a cellist myself and I crochet and knit in my free time while attending school to become an orchestra teacher! I will be purchasing the pattern for Cellist, and a few more that I missed this year so that I can start working on these projects in the new year!!!
I thought these were gorgeous as they were released but seeing them in this compilation STUNNING 💙💙💙 I can't pick a favorite. I really like them all & see that I've only made a fraction of them. However, those I haven't made yet will remain on my TBC list for when the time occurs 😊 Huge huge thanks to you & your team for providing these beautiful patterns to us.
There’s so many beautiful, thoughtfully designed patterns, it’s so difficult to select just one as my favorite! I love working on Collocation and Corydalis. As a crochet enthusiast, I so enjoy piecework patterns. Plus they really show off color creativity of Expression Fiber Arts. I look forward to downloading Omarose patterns and trying my hand at a crochet cardigan! Love everything you do! Blessings into 2025❣️
So many beautiful patterns it’s impossible to choose a favorite. I look forward to Friday mornings to see what amazing pattern is next. I have saved more than I will ever have time to make. Thank you for sharing
I’m mostly attracted to the sweaters, since for me they are more practical to wear. The mittens are very cute, so I may try that. Brioche is great looking, but I haven’t yet tried it. How many people are in your company? You all are so productive and creative.
They are! We have several people working at the shop but the designers are all contractors and working from home all over the country and internationally as well. 🌸
I love all your patterns and yarn. I look forward to Fridays. If I could yarn from only one place it would definitely be EFA. Wishing you and Tim and your team all the best ❤
I love all the patterns most of all your yarn is beautiful and is a dream to knit with. I would love to see more patterns that only use 1-2 skeins of yarn like cowls, fingerless mitts, and hats. That way I could buy more yarn in lots of different colors and have something to give as gifts. Shawls and sweaters need a lot of yarn to make which gets expensive to give as gifts.
Chandi you offer the best free patterns that I have ever seen, very few places offer such nice patterns that are for things bigger than ear warmers or hats, don't get me wrong I love a good ear warmer and hat and such but your patterns just go above what most tend to offer for free!! I love shawls. They're wearable but I love using them as lap blankets too. This channel/website has inspired me to try to learn to knit in 2025.

I’m working on whulge now. My shawl isn’t turning out as open as Chandi’s. Are you having that issue, or is it spot on?
@jessicapayne2211 I've just started, I'm on row 23. Not sure how I can share images on here 🤔 I'm at 16" wide on row 23
Dk. Thanks for replying tho. I have gotten that far.

You are so generous with your free patterns - Fenmont sweater and Balmy cardi were 2 of my favourites this year.
Love everything about Expression Fiber Arts. The yarn is some of the softest and best out there!!❤
I love Infinitesimal. The cables flowing down the sides attracted me and the colors used in the sample were soothing.

Thanks for showing how using a quality yarn can greatly improve the final product. Love your art! Love your yarn! thanks
I found a video I saved to my favorites a long time ago. It was your snowflake tutorial from 10 yrs ago - you haven't aged a day!😁👍
I really loved making Lune. I LOVE to knit and crochet shawls. The Aravis sweater is beautiful, and it is on my needles. I am crocheting Whulge and Dandelion is lovely. There are so many amazing patterns.💖

Have a wonderful, love and happiness filled year, good health and good people in your journey called life. Thanks again for a great yarni year 🩵🩷💜
Such beautiful patterns!
THANK YOU ❤
I can’t possibly pick just one of these patterns, they are all beautiful!
So many beautiful things! I can’t choose one favorite! Thank you for sharing both crochet and knit for all levels!
Chandi, every Friday my husband and I start off date night with watching your pattern video. Thank you for the love and inspiration. (And the shawls he knits me every Christmas! This year was Crystal Roads!!)
My favourite pattern has to be... the cardigans.

Thanks you🌹, Chandi, for channel and free patterns. It's beautiful.💖💐👒
I love all pour crochet patterns 😊 and a happy New year to you
I love the vineyard. I was one of the testknitters and learned a lot. Love the outcome💃🪢. Made in a green yarn. At this moment I am working with purple EFA bamboo. Stunning like red grapes🍇
Love your patterns and its so generous that you make some free each week. They are next level beautiful and of course your yarn elevates everything
no idea which would be a favorite, there are too many beautiful options.
Every Friday morning has been a delight viewing the new crochet pattern. My favorite has been Carbon Copy which I successfully completed and adore. Thank you so much for all you have presented❤
I love your yarn, patterns and your lovely attitude. You always bring a smile to my face!
I love watching this every year. I think Kaleidoscope was my favorite this year. As always, there were a lot of other pretty patterns as well.
It's so hard to pick a favorite! All the designs are so gorgeous! I think I'm going to have to crochet Dandelion since those puff stitches look like adorable little hearts!
I can‘t pick only one. There are to many gorgeous patterns. Thanks for all These amazing fridays.
Hi Chandi! You truly brighten my day with your daily emails. I love the endearments! "...my lil' gingersnap"! 🥰
While I adore many of your crochet patterns (I can't knit--yet!), I absolutely love the Thaw cardigan.
Thank you for all of the beautiful patterns this year. It's always so inspiring, and I look forward to the new pattern every Friday
Thank you!
I am so grateful for all the lovely patterns and instructions you share. Thank you for putting so much beauty in the world. 😊
Thanks for all these beautiful patterns over the year! ❤
Thank you for another lovely year full of yarny goodness!
Pick ONE?!
I love dandelion. Cannot wait to get started. Thank you for bringing so much joy and love to everything you do.
There were so many beautiful patterns this year! I really liked the look of the Marine crochet cardigan.
I have the yarn for several of these projects. Now to get started. While I’m drawn to all these patterns, Riley is my favorite.
I just want to thank you and your team❤ I enjoy and appreciate the free patterns. I am a slow knitter, so I make only 1 maybe 2 of them a year.
I love so much of the patterns that I can’t possibly pick them! I think my favorite will be Aravis. It is elegant and easy to pull on.
It's so hard to choose a favorite because the patterns are so beautiful!
Field of flowers is my favorite! Thank you for everything that you do!
I love all your patterns and yarn. I look forward to Fridays. If I could yarn from only one place it would definitely be EFA. Wishing you and Tim and your team all the best ❤
Your designs are some of the most beautiful I have seen💖
How can I have a favorite as they are all so gorgeous!! Thank you for an amazing year!
Such a beautiful color!! Thank you for all of your tutorials ❤ You are so easy to listen to and follow along with!
