The whole knebworth concert was incredible... Eric was inspired, and besides had great vocals, excellent second guitar, superb bassist.. what else can we ask for?
What a music!!! I've been smiling the whole song. Why don't we hear such a piece of drive, energy, harmony and rhythm in radios these days? All I hear in the radio today is crap. Thanks God for the REAL M U S I C :)
Eric Clapton Is The Greatest & Best Blues Guitarist Ever, Period!! 5 - Star's ***** For A Great & Incrdible Performance On "Before You Accuse Me"!!! Brilliant!!! :)
What a beautiful version of this song !
He loses a string and never misses a beat. Then has Phil fill in for about a minute while he switches guitars and finishes the set like nothing happened! that's why we call him GOD
This so great. It is just so good. When Eric comes in with that lead guitar I could drop to the floor. I enjoy listening to Eric as much as I enjoy listening to the Beatles There ain't nothin like the blues. I'll say it again brother....There ain't nothin like the blues!
this man will lost in to the music´s history it´s very hard to find Eric´s own song from the "tube"but when he play these classic Great Blues he is next to"God". world is still full of Racism.
"Take it Phil" - and he did just that! Palmers solo was incredible, I can't help thinking that Clapton was in awe of that too and if he wasn't then he should have been. I remember this when it happened and it still makes me weep with joy.
knebworth was famous for great rock shows. PLEASE if someone else has a performance from this venue they'd like to post....do so! and text me to check it out! I saw this tour in Omaha, Muddy Waters opened (i know you're jealous). Eric had a single table set up, stage rear left, and sat on a barstool, by himself, with a bottle and a glass (pre-Antigua rehab). He tipped his glass to me ( I was drinking Thunderbird).
Clapton, I cover this song live, and love to play along with this video, great fun. All those knocking it, just enjoy the moment, that's what music is all about.
Yeah mate, how good is the bloke! I can't believe it hasn't had more than 344 views. I love the ending with the free time stuff and the band nailing it like a bastard!
This is great stuff. I'm not a guitarist, but I enjoy the arts of Clapton, Vaughn, Hendrix, and many others. I, myself, am a drummer. I've been wanting to get a cover project together, alas, lack good members here in my general area. I'd love to jam some blues/rock any day. I play everything, genre wise. I have the most respect for jazz/blues guitarists. They know how to put on a show and good solos!
you dont have to play fast fingers in guitar playing,.because fast fingers will take you only hours of practice,.but the feeling of blues music will take you years and even decades to get thru it..blues is easy to play but it is hard to feel..its not how fast your finger is,it is how you play the note..thats why eric clapton is i think one of the best guitarist in the world.
@ddrdouglas May I Sir ? Thank you... The song originally recorded by Bo Diddley, The writing credit for the song goes to Elias McDaniel...This is in fact Bo Diddley, AKA if you see what I mean...He was adopted by a cousin of his mother who was named Gussie McDaniel when he was an infant. His birth name was Ellas Otha Bates but became Elias McDaniel when adopted. Incidently a lot of people seem to think that John Fogerty wrote this record which is sad. Due respect to ' the Originator '...G.
@4001XBASS I use both. With my original band I use teles and with the cover band I use strats and gibsons. I always go back to the strat in a pinch though.
He was probably going to solo anyway, but it is the best time to change guitars when strings break. I used to play in a band and the guitarist broke a string on both his guitars during the same song. It was really funny. Had to play 3 harmonica solos on that song! *lol*
No one does this better than Clapton
Eric “slowhand“ Clapton. You’re the best
Eric Clapton is the best guitar player of the WORLD
...check ....checked checked....guitar checked, pink suit checked .. damn, clapton is awesome

Key differences: Eric Clapton has talent and a brain.
My bandmates said Clapton did this classic CCR tune. Really cool sound with the Strats vs. Fogerty's Les Paul Custom. Great!

Happy Sunday.

Mr. Clapton is rocking that pink suit like a boss! Fuck the haters.

Breaks a string and still makes it sound cool.
Nathan East - Awesome Bass always.
Yeah mate, how good is the bloke! I can't believe it hasn't had more than 344 views. I love the ending with the free time stuff and the band nailing it like a bastard!

Really nice spontanous live performance. A simple song, but nonetheless one of my favourites

I wonder how many viewers of 652 000, noticed the moment when Clapton breaks a guitar string.. and of course finished the song with another guitar. :)

@esbramakopf No, he switched guitars. He started with the Pewter with Flamed neck, broke the string, then switched to the Pewter with Birdseye neck :)

@4001XBASS Clapton actually blocks the trems on his guitars. it makes the whammy bar useless but the guitar stays in tune way better.
nice pink suit eric.
great guitar playing as well
Did he break the E or B? I can't believe how flawlessly he dealt with it....the riff fit right in!
Righteous pink suit FTW!!!!

@gaspita you know that he's god with many soul in his heart and we can feel what he mean..
@daveeeed correct! he played with Dire Strait in the live "On the Night , such a brilliant guitarist :)
