His band then were Gary Brooker, Albert Lee, Chris Stainton, Dave Markee and Henry Spinetti. After my spot I'd watch him from the side of the stage. He was amazing. I am SO proud to have toured with him.
This man is an example for many people, not only for his outstanding music, but also for all he has been throu, and still sanding!!!! And verry important, you can always see him enyoing making music, he is GREAT!!!
I saw him in Memphis on March 5th, and he is showing his age. But damn he can still make a guitar talk. The man is a living legend, and will always be. People who talk about him not being good anymore really don't have any respect for Eric. I must say his performance in Memphis was almost flawless. Keep rockin Slowhand!
