Geniusz gitary, przekazu - słuchać, słuchać do końca świta i o jeszcze jeden dzień dłużej. Coś pięknego !!! Dla mnie dzień bez muzyki Erica Claptona - to dzień stracony. Wielkie ukłony dla Mistrza
Man. nobody commented in 2 years? Eric Clapton is one of the best guitarist. He's about to kick the bucket. He should be remembered for such a great talent.
This man is a genius of the guitar and of melody too. This piece is just sublime. I don't understand why so few people took the trouble to drop a line. Anyway, regardless of this, his music will live on like the other great ones who came centuries before. Eric you''re number one
I have loved Eric since 1970 just going into high school and have never stopped now I m 66. There were years I cooled , stuff not completely up my wheelhouse, but never stopped. When Eric leaves us, I will just go to bed and pull the covers up.😢
This Could be called the perfect balance and limits between a singer ability to sing and the mastery of the instrument he plays, and his improvisational skills, he really is an example of a great musician
There comes a time in life, when you walk away from all the drama and people who create it. You surround yourself with people who make you laugh, forget the bad, and focus on the good. So love the people who treat you right, pray for the ones who don't. Life is too short to be anything but happy. Falling down is a part of life, getting back up is living.Eric Clapton is someone who believes this. I think so.
My name's Fran Raya and I'm a female singer/songwriter from the UK. I was invited to support Eric Clapton on his Scandinavian tour performing my own songs. His band then were Gary Brooker, Albert Lee, Chris Stainton, Dave Markee and Henry Spinetti. After my spot I'd watch him from the side of the stage. He was amazing. I am SO proud to have toured with him.
...the intro to this song is the best, with my broken heart and how much he meant to me, and then Eric and this song,... i can not manage my tears. They reflect the image of Sean and his guitar in hand, playing this song, and now the hurt that rips your breath from you. Eric, you amaze me, if ever there was someone that could make a guitar sound as if she were making love to her hearts desire, her lover.. it is you. what a gift.
It was a bad breakup for both of us. I loved him more than he ever knew and whenever I hear this song, I realize that I still miss him and the way that we were together when it was good. I will get that ache in my heart every time I hear this song. This version has me near tears.
Don't lie. RC's contribution is negligible. Above all, he has no such great song, guitar or creativity. Respect and thank Clapton. This song and performance is based on Clapton's talent. It's impossible for Clay
Another perfect solo performed by Eric Clapton, one of the few remaining artist that can transform musical notes into pure feelinkg to the few who can enjoy such beautiful poetry transformed into notes... Salutes to one of the main spokesman of Blues.
I saw him in Memphis on March 5th, and he is showing his age. But damn he can still make a guitar talk. The man is a living legend, and will always be. People who talk about him not being good anymore really don't have any respect for Eric. I must say his performance in Memphis was almost flawless. Keep rockin Slowhand!
This man is so damn good, his solo gives me goosebumbs al over my body and brings tears to my eyes, so beautifull!!! Thanks for all the joy you bring to man kind Eric!
This man is an example for many people, not only for his outstanding music, but also for all he has been throu, and still sanding!!!! And verry important, you can always see him enyoing making music, he is GREAT!!!
"Clapton is God" was originally penned on a subway wall in London in the mid-sixties. It might have been a little discourteous, but it demonstrates he has been touching peoples hearts and souls for close to 50 years. This concert truly was the "top of his game". Wish I could have been there.
front row,,center at Carter Finley Stadium in Chapel Hill NC... one of the highlights of my life..I've always respected musicians...what a tough business to be in..This man has all my love and respect. This has got to be one of his best performances.. Thank you robert cray.
To say this is some of the very best the world has to offer would be stating the obvious but I just don't know what else to say. It's performances like this that prove his world class status. We are bless to have access to such a talented group of performers. Thank you!
If not his masterpiece, please show me what it is because this performance is utterly mind-blowing. He uses his guitar to touch the heart and pierce the soul with a beauty and aching longing like no other.
Damn, the Man is good, and the solo each and every thime it gives me goosbumbs over every part of my body!!! Thanks for the joy you bring to the people Eric, you're the best!!!
Fabulous guitar playing as you'd expect but I'm just so impressed with his vocal here. Absolutely dripping with heart wrenching feel!! Great lyrics! Didn't know was an Eric Clapton/Robert Cray co-write 'til now!
You're right about the creative side of this. Imagine being capable of creating music like this? Amazing. The words alone are enough but the music too!! They don't call him God for nothing. I love the guy. John Mayer is also a gifted musician but, who is to say if he's up there with Eric and the rest. Time will tell. If he's creating and producing in 40yrs, he will be there. But the thing is, it has to have appeal. No good if only a few people are "getting" it. Many people have to get it!!!!
I love this song, the dvd is great. I'm surprised it hasn't been pulled cause they pulled the "RIver of Tears " from that concert...and it was my fav grrrrr
I've heard many versions of this song over thre years, but this one is by far the earthiest, grittiest, intense version of them all. The close ups of his hands are almost erotic. This version is beyoud amazing. Thanks so much for posting.
Eric Clapton è il re della chitarra elettrica fenderblues. E basta!!!!!!! In questa esecuzione c'è un'energia notevole e quella giusta dose di "cazzimma" come si dice a Napoli. Thank you Eric.
Probably THE most emotionally moving guitar solo I have ever heard. Absolutely unbelievable talent. Gave me chills the first time I saw this concert video about 10 years ago; still does it every time.
What could be better than having one of best guitarists ever in Calpton playing live. Also having one of the best drummers playing along side him in Steve Gadd. Brillaint song and those 2 are brillant playing there instruments. Top notch.
captivating. moving. claptons fingers have the ability to convey emotion that cannot be put into any amount of words. six strings making melodies which are able to change the mortal soul.
And Dave Sanborn, you can;t hear him much on this song, but he does amazing things with Clapton and Gadd... Top notch saxophonist with top notch drummer and guitarist :)
Oh Mr. Clapton, show us wannabees how to play the guitar. Always learn something new from you. Oh and thanks for being one the biggest inspirations to my music.
Wahnsinnsblues. Od love von old slowhand. Alte liebe rostet nicht. Ob carlos santana, roy buchanan, robert cray, peter green, und all die anderen unvergessenen helden ,clapton is the best.
I saw Clapton in Nashville a few years ago. The band and the sound-guy kept building and building the volume until I thought the room and system had reached it's peek and then about that time, Clapton just takes it completely over the top. What a rush!
Clapton's genius isn't in speed, it's in control. His bending and vibrato are just incredible. This video shows that to full effect.
Un virtuose !
@spwstrat perfectly said!

Is he sick ?
Clapton is God!

What do u mean kick the bucket
What is wrong with him
Well, he is still alive today so...
Life without Clapton's music would be unbearable. For me one of his most beautiful songs. He makes the guitar cry with emotion.
🤩🤩
I have loved Eric since 1970 just going into high school and have never stopped now I m 66. There were years I cooled , stuff not completely up my wheelhouse, but never stopped. When Eric leaves us, I will just go to bed and pull the covers up.😢
The audience give the solo a standing ovation before it's even finished. Great stuff.
👌💯
This never gets old - never. 10 years later and it's still giving me chills
Ditto!!
Now 16 years later 😆
I simply CAN'T get over this song. It is perfect.
sure it is!
one of the best guitar performances in history. his guitar really sings, its unbelievable
This Could be called the perfect balance and limits between a singer ability to sing and the mastery of the instrument he plays, and his improvisational skills, he really is an example of a great musician

One of the true legends left. God Bless Eric Clapton.
My name's Fran Raya and I'm a female singer/songwriter from the UK. I was invited to support Eric Clapton on his Scandinavian tour performing my own songs. I am SO proud to have toured with him.
So glad you had that chance! Best wishes to you in your career.
I saw him in Frankfurt Germany in 1990. I was 12 but still knew that I was seeing something special..
...the intro to this song is the best, with my broken heart and how much he meant to me, and then Eric and this song,... i can not manage my tears. Artyzm Claptona przechodzi na najwyższy poziom. Absolutny geniusz. 🎸
My favorite performance. My favorite Clapton Song, legendary guitarist. It's not the notes, it's the fucking space between them.
Ewan McFadyen lmaooo I saw that interview 🤣🤣🤣
Clapton plays and the world stands still to listen...
This song never gets old. NEVER.
He is amazing himself, but this song is OUT OF THIS PLANET! I can't get enough of it.
My favorite Clapton tune and my favorite version. Simply awesome!! Thank you Robert Cray for co writing this incredible song.
racyrick1 oui
Thanks racyrick1 for good information about RC’s part in this. Love this song too. So much. Yes, this is my favourite version.
Don't lie. RC's contribution is negligible. Above all, he has no such great song, guitar or creativity. Respect and thank Clapton. This song and performance is based on Clapton's talent. It's impossible for Clay
Standing ovation in the middle of a solo? what an amazing experience it must've been to have been there!
Forget corona virus for a few glorious minutes.
This got me thru a almost relapse back in 2016.. I have six years this winter. One of my most favorite live performances
Glorius glorius....
Since 2016 Iam strong but my love for Thoms is Bigger.
A strong woman and hard?,but not for my lover.
Forget it full stop . It’s bullshit
Another perfect solo performed by Eric Clapton, one of the few remaining artist that can transform musical notes into pure feelinkg to the few who can enjoy such beautiful poetry transformed into notes...
Salutes to one of the main spokesman of Blues.
Un virtuose dans son art !!
And that's why ladies and gentlemen, Clapton is at the top of the Olympus in guitarland!
I saw him in Memphis on March 5th, and he is showing his age. But damn he can still make a guitar talk. The man is a living legend, and will always be. Eric Clapton is so great because you can feel the emotion in every song. There are so many guitarists today that just shred. this is pure emotion
It's hard to say it, takes long time to think, but, this one might be, my favorite Clapton's song.
Подобного не слышал!!! Это Эрик Клэптон Душевный гитарист просто Глыба!!!❤❤❤❤
Ohhh, this is one of my favorite songs of his! Thank you so much Eric Clapton!! You are a musical genius! The BEST! L.Buurke
One of the most beautiful sounds I've ever heard...Clapton pours his heart out in this love you slowhand :-)
It's amazing that I've listened to this song for so many years and now I see so many people have also listened for as long as I have, fabulous !!
To say this is some of the very best the world has to offer would be stating the obvious but I just don't know what else to say. It's performances like this that prove his world class status. We are bless to have access to such a talented group of performers. Thank you!
every single time he touches the guitar is magic
This guy is a total genius
Been a huge Clapton fan for years and this song is always one to go to as one of the best.
If not his masterpiece, please show me what it is because this performance is utterly mind-blowing. He uses his guitar to touch the heart and pierce the soul with a beauty and aching longing like no other.
Que genio ,que buen gusto ,el mundo a escuchado y visto a este grande del blues ,nada sin palabras!!!.
Everything is cool. And teacher, and brother, God.
But more, please continue to inspire us.
I saw Eric in Ottawa on this tour. He had Robert Cray come out and play with him on this song and it was amazing.
This is one of his best, I can isten to it over and over. What an artist.
Damn, the Man is good, and the solo each and every thime it gives me goosbumbs over every part of my body!!!

This man is a true hero!
Such a tune....Clapton is by far the best there is and ever will be
Fabulous guitar playing as you'd expect but I'm just so impressed with his vocal here. Absolutely dripping with heart wrenching feel!! Great lyrics! Didn't know was an Eric Clapton/Robert Cray co-write 'til now!
Just what I was thinking too.... soulful
Eric is so good at playing that Fender he makes it look effortless.
I think 12 people were so amazed and awed by this God of guitar that they were still watching him and clicked the dislike button.
My father is always playing this song, which made me start learning it too.
Its is so cool to play and it is definitly one of my favorite tunes.
Hair stood on its ends and tears came to my eyes in that solo. Wow!
You're right about the creative side of this. Imagine being capable of creating music like this? Amazing. The words alone are enough but the music too!! They don't call him God for nothing. Steve Gad is amazing! (drums)
Without him, I think this solo wouldn't be so perfect. If Eric Clapton is God, Steve Gad is an angel !
as always, EC is humble despite his magnificent performance. Like the way he bows in acknowledgement of the standing ovation
Incredible, simply incredible! Totally agree - this never gets old! The intro blows me away. What is that? A soft Europa? Amazing.
If I died whilst listening to this, I’d die happy with a tear in my eye at the exquisite beauty of the music.
Best version of this song ever!! Amazing solo!!!
I think this is the oldest comment I've ever seen
I love this song, the dvd is great. I'm surprised it hasn't been pulled cause they pulled the "RIver of Tears " from that concert...and it was my fav grrrrr
What DVD. Can you helkp me?
I've heard many versions of this song over thre years, but this one is by far the earthiest, grittiest, intense version of them all. The close ups of his hands are almost erotic. This version is beyoud amazing. Thanks so much for posting.
I swear that my heart explodes when i listen this song !
Hope you still have a heart.
Eric just has that tone that reaches deep into to you , he is truly special
The truth of this song is the blues. It's his blues. No one can recreate this. Fucking amazing.
This song is a masterpiece of music. When I hear it makes me feel alive and happy. Even though it's quiet a sad sounding song. In a word amazing.
The best cameraman in the whole world
this is beyond words...this is beyond life...this is Eric Clapton!!!!!!!
Absolutely LOVE this song
Eric Clapton è il re della chitarra elettrica fenderblues.
E basta!!!!!!!

Thank you Eric.
Probably THE most emotionally moving guitar solo I have ever heard. Absolutely unbelievable talent. Gave me chills the first time I saw this concert video about 10 years ago; still does it every time.
ERIC CLAPTPON IS GOD !!!
...I saw Eric last year and Robert Cray played the opening act...amazing !!!
Great Blues with a feeling!! Played like he has been through it all. Love the feelings and emotion felt..
I saw Clapton in San Diego two weeks ago. The man is too awesome for works, a true legend. Imho this is his best song and he killed it.
What could be better than having one of best guitarists ever in Calpton playing live. Also having one of the best drummers playing along side him in Steve Gadd. Brillaint song and those 2 are brillant playing there instruments. Top notch.
listened it 100 times, hundred time goosebumps.....
I could listen to Eric Clapton for hours and hours. One of the greatest guitarist I’ve even heard. Plus, I love his singing. Play on...
clapton is one of those guys who just keeps building and building and building ... the only difference with him is that he gets there.
been listening to this live performance for over 10 years and it still gives me chills every time. Especially 1:45
captivating. moving. claptons fingers have the ability to convey emotion that cannot be put into any amount of words. six strings making melodies which are able to change the mortal soul.

Seeing him in concert tomorrow night. Praying he plays this song! ❤️❤️
Wahnsinnsblues. Od love von old slowhand. Alte liebe rostet nicht. Ob carlos santana, roy buchanan, robert cray, peter green, und all die anderen unvergessenen helden ,clapton is the best.
By far in my opinion the best lesser known Clapton song!
Nobody does it like this man….Period!!
the passion in the solo elevates it above most others, whatever you think of clapton
I saw Clapton in Nashville a few years ago. The band and the sound-guy kept building and building the volume until I thought the room and system had reached it's peek and then about that time, Clapton just takes it completely over the top. What a rush!
