NFL could go to 40 teams, add 1 more team to each division. Return and reduce teams in some integrations (CA, NY for example) and expand to opportunity states that can benefit from it. Jets to NJ, Dolphins to Hawaii, Rams return to St. Louis, Chiefs actually go to Kansas. Give states like Alaska, New Mexico, Oregon, The Dakota's and Virginia's as 1 each. Well, we'll see how Lamar and the Ravens do come playoff time. Last season, the Ravens ended the season with two losses and lost to the Bengals in the Wild Card round of the playoffs. Last season, the 49ers won their last 10 games of the season then beat the Seahawks in the Wild Card game, beat the Cowboys in the Divisional Round, but lost to the Eagles after Purdy got injured.
This year, before this game, the 49ers also had the longest winning streak in the NFL--six games including beating the Eagles and the Jaguars. Before this game the Ravens won 4 games in a row. Before this game the 49ers had already clinched a playoff birth as well as their division--so this loss could be meaningless in the grand playoff picture. Before this game the Ravens playoff hopes were still up in the air and had much more to lose than the 49ers.

You have to understand that this was a possible preview of Super Bowl 58. The 49ers control their destiny to home field advantage. There is no way that Kyle would show his top guns and personnel to a possible Super Bowl contender. What the the Ravens have now is a tape to study full of basic formations and plays. I agree the Ravens D came through but they did not see what the 49ers are fully capable of. CMC had over 100 yards rushing with a basic run formation. Kyle knows a Super Bowl trophy is way more valuable than an MVP trophy. If the Ravens make it to play in the Super Bowl, they won't be ready for what the 49ers have for them.

I have a ton of respect for Lamar, and he’s obviously a great QB. But I think last night was as much about Brock falling out of the MVP race as it was Lamar not being the new MVP favorite. I think he should be top 3 but that Ravens defense has been the best part of the Ravens all year. Lamar has had to have special wow moments at times, but when you have a defense like he has, you don’t have to do as much offensively to win games, hence why his statistics aren’t eye popping. No disrespect to Lamar, but if people wanted to make the argument that Brock wasn’t the MVP, then I’m not sure Lamar is either. Right now I think it should be CMC, but if the Bills win out, then I believe it should be Josh Allen. @@Ghragle- Purdy is 13th in YAC in the league. He averages 9.7 yards per attempt, which is league leading. The YAC argument against Purdy is so overused. Lamar has a lot to do with the offense but when your defense leads the league in sacks, takeaways, and points per game, you’re not really having to do a whole lot lmao. Just don’t see how Lamar is the MVP favorite.
