That part where Wright brings out the Chiefs' resume to respond to the topic of how poorly they played against the Raiders is gold; I'm sure it'll age well when the topic is how poorly the 49ers played against the Ravens. Edit: "Two Minutes Later." Let's hope the Chiefs can send in their records, stats, credentials and awards to the NFL and get the SB awarded to them without actually playing any games in the postseason.
Purdy lost to the Ravens. Mahomes lost to a tomato can. Furthermore, the Chiefs' game was far more important to their playoff picture than the Ravens game was to the Niners.
Mahomes: a mediocre player with an all-time great coach, dining out on his past accomplishments.
I watched the Niners-Ravens game - I didn't see the great players getting wide open and Purdy not hitting them. I didn't see Purdy getting a ton of time in the pocket and missing open receivers. I saw the whole team have a bad game. Purdy did have a worse game than the rest of the offense, but that's how it goes when the QB has a bad game - it has a bigger impact than anyone else having a bad game.
Lamar's 1-3 in the postseason; we'll see how it plays out this time.

this show gives me hope for Skip and undisputed. Originally when Chris Carter left, it took this show a while to find their footing and I feel Nick, Chris and Kevin are perfect. It shows they should not lock in and rotate till they can find this type of chemistry

As a Chiefs fan, I'm enjoying watching these shows more than I am enjoying watching the game. Brou gives me reality, Nick gives me false hope, and Wildes is a national treasure.

@corning1 I dunno, I think part of their problem is their overconfidence possibly. Couple that with bad receivers, poor to no adjustments from the coaching staff (missing EB???) and the lack of accountability in the wake of EB's absence and *poof* you have a team that SHOULD be on top, but are struggling mightily.

ya I'm a huge chiefs fan and have held out hope that we would get things together by now, but this is full blown PANIC time. Nick is being way to optimistic about this, we have incredibly glaring problems that are going to cost us in our playoff run. I don't even see us getting to the championship game at this point

As a KC fan we are cooked but this happened to plenty of good teams. Brady and the pats finished 10-6 in 2009 and we know how that team did over the years. It happens. It's a shift. But yes. Panic button has been SMASHED and I'm not exactly optimistic for this season lol

The chemistry between all three are definitely unmatched amongst all the shows. Hands number 1.
Nick keeps saying the 49ers weakness is Purdy when it’s actually the O-Line except for Trent Williams. The 49ers O-line is terrible at pass blocking. The Ravens mostly only rushed 4 in the second half and were consistently getting to the quarterback. They definitely need a better centre and right sided linemen.
Ravens are leading the league in sacks and coming from their entire defense. Game last night was among best team pass rushing I’ve ever seen, both were under pressure and inches here and there on both sides had big consequences.
To be honest, if you put other guys behind that line they look better
The difference is Brock doesn’t have escapability Lamar was pressured and created a new pocket when needed.
SF OL is statistically avg. just like BAL. Except Lamar is a playmaker.
He has the best run scheme and RB, one of the best play callers great weapons and a great defense, everyone is saying is great he is at getting the ball out and breaking down the coverage yet some offensive line problems happen and all of a sudden he can't play QB, sounds like a Purdy problem to me

yesterday was 95% on Mahomes. Its okay for us as Chiefs fans to actually put blame on Mahomes when its warranted, and without his giving up 14pts in 7 seconds Chiefs win at least 20-6. Receivers were getting open, hes just shell shocked and refuses to throw to them. Line was not good but that was exasperated by Mahomes inability to do anything besides look down at his feet and fumble the ball or throw interceptions
You have said what all we Chiefs fans have been thinking. But we are too afraid to say it because of reverence for Mahomes. That ends now.

It’s always been, let the play breakdown and someone will get open. Mahomes only throws it to WIDE OPEN receivers (for the most part). People want to trash Brock for the loss, but as a Vikings fan who watched a different QB throw 4 picks, Brock played a lot better than he could’ve. Mullens’ picks were all terrible throws, while 3 of Purdy’s were a combination of bad luck and great defense. The Niners’ offensive line refused to block, Shanahan refused to run the ball, and Brock was going against the best defense since the Legion of Boom. The Ravens and Browns are, I think, both terrible matchups for the Niners.
Obviously, still a bad game by Brock, and he definitely shouldn’t win MVP. Even Shanahan knows the most important player on his offense, since Trent Williams was the first guy to get pulled once it got out of hand.
Finally some Trent Williams love. The heart and soul of that offense

As a fan of sports, I love when people understand that sometimes the other team actually beat you. Ravens made all the plays and the 9ers just couldn't match it this game. Ravens won this, Raiders won and took that game. And I'm an Eagles fan just fyi. And those other fans that don't ever get it, concern me 🤣.
3 out of the 4 interceptions were on Purdy. 1 was bad luck with a tip but he should have never thrown the ball. If the media is going to trash Allen for having interceptions but won’t acknowledge 4 of those aren’t his fault then the same standards need to be held for Purdy.

Name one player on our offense besides Kelce that has the same caliber as Kittle, CMC, Deebo, or Aiyuk. Purdy looks good because he has a star-studded cast of players that are elite in their positions. 49ers have the fewest drops while the Chiefs lead in drops. Easy to “get it done with anyone” when you can count on your players to catch the ball.

The answer to the why can’t Kyle coach from behind question is really simple. When you’re down by a lot, you’re not supposed to come back. In order to mount a comeback you have to do something extraordinary outside of the structure of what has already been happening in the game. If you have average under center, average can’t consistently generate extraordinary when it’s needed. Talent elevates coaching.

I think it’s officially to start acknowledging Patrick Mahommes been bad this year. We have been busy scapegoating the receivers and refs but yesterday showed Mahommes decision making and sharpness hasn’t been the same. Also Kelcy also fell off this year.
Agreed. I don’t like to criticize Mahomes. I don’t like to criticize Kelce. But it’s time. Both of them didn’t play well and Mahomes cost us that game.
mahomes didn't play great but can you blame him? dude is clearly at his limit with these receivers, when you don't trust that you have receivers you lose confidence and for the first time we are seeing patrick mahomes literally have no one that can consistenly make plays. Kelce is sadly to old now to play like he did several years ago and we don't have tyreek or any weapons that can catch. Mahomes is partly to blame but is by no means the reason we are losing

I think this is a little bit of a lazy take. Not totally, because I can understand how you got to this take, but this is writing the first thought without analysing it.
As someone else mentioned, he was playing great early in the season, throwing darts short and deep, scrambling and looking like the same old Mahomes creating magic out of nothing. But then came the drops, the tipped interceptions, the receivers not getting separation and receiver's running the wrong routes. Now Mahomes isn't playing great or even above average any more, but it seems more likely that it's because of those other reasons that now he's pressing and trying too hard instead of playing football. He can't do anything with these guys in the system that Andy Reid has. Reid's offence has to have skilled ball catchers and then it's super inventive. These type of receiver's need a dink and dunk offence because they're bad

Honestly: I think the biggest "weakness" of Purdy might be when he's und HEAVY preassure. He is great, and thats coming from a Ravens fan, but his losses came when his o-line was injured or he was playing against defenses that are great in preasuring the QB (Browns and Ravens).
Who doesn't struggle under constant pressure. The Niners offensive line is below average and the weak link and not Purdy like Nicholas claims.

The 9ers O Line is one of the worst in the league. They have been ignoring it for Years, and when the 49ers play amazing pass rush defenses like Baltimore or Eagles during the NFC championship game it really shows. When a QB is running for his life every play, and has hands in his face, mistakes and picks are going to happen. We can't just rely on Trent Williams.

The entire right side is garbage and Burford should not be a starter with his T-Rex arms. Obviously the blame goes to Lynch and Kyle for not building that offensive line better. It's a patchwork of guys who wouldn't start elsewhere minus Trent and Banks.

And as soon as that happens, everyone and their mother start to criticise the QB for having bad stats. Surprise, if you have no time until someone is in your face, throwing accurately gets really hard.

The Chiefs' offense has been out of sync almost all season. Nagy clearly needs to go. Someone who demands discipline, excellence, and attention to detail like EB needs to be brought in.
Im a Jets fan and the Jets statistically have one of the best defenses for how often they're on the field this year. Even with that, Jets are dead in the water. Defense does not win championships anymore. The Chiefs dont look good and IMO it's simply not their year.
A true commitment to running the ball all season would have helped as well

Defense does win championship games. It just isn't season long, like bears, ravens, in their last superbowl winning seasons. Tampa played great defense to win their last superbowl. Patriots against Rams.Giants for all their Superbowls. You must have capable players and great scheme for playoff games. (and some luck) it is easier to get to the playoffs if you have good offense, because it can overcome mistakes on both sides of the ball.
@@thomasblock1164 you don't need your defense to play great to win anymore. Especially in a passing league. Humans make mistakes... capitalize on mistakes & as long as you win the TO battle and your offense plays better than your opponents you'll win every game in today's NFL
