40 total TD with 2 games to go. And has beaten chiefs multiple times. Nick acts like chiefs will continue to win because they have an elite QB. Other teams have gotten better and their own division is much better than years past

Seahawks as well at 8-7. Three losses that came down to the wire and were more just unfortunate than anything. If any small number of things fall their way (refs, injuries, playcalling, o-line play, etc.), they’re beating Cincy, Dallas, and LA on the road and they’re 11-4 and in contention for the #1 seed.
Anything is possible but what I would really like to see would be the Lions get the number 1 seed, the 49ers number 2 seed, Seahawks get the number 7 seed. Seahawks play the 49ers and beat them! Rams get the 6 seed and play the number 3 Eagles and beat them
Lamar Jackson is the MVP, not because of his stats. He's not "Offensive Player of The Year"
He's MVP because on a field of MVP candidates and future Hall of Famers, he was the best player on the field, by a good margin. he won the game, offensively, by avoiding every rush (but one) and extending every play until he won. That's what MVPs do. CMC and Purdy didn't do that. Lamar did.
If you're talking about 'value' this season, it's definitely Josh Allen.

It's a lot of things. But these challenges happen to every Super Bowl team eventually. No one wins every year in the NFL. Remember, the Chiefs were built and at their best when Mahomes was a rookie contract phenom with good offensive weapons. Now, it's just him and an aging Kelce. That's what happens. Even Brady had this happen once he got paid in the middle of his career. The real test for Mahomes and the Chiefs is how they handle having a less-than-ideal team. Will they figure out how to stay competitive like the Patriots did? We will see.

Purdys game last night was more of a testament to his o line than his skill. They were collapsing faster than a house of cards... but casuals think having skilled positions is all that matters

People forget that the game against the Cowboys to take the Niners to their first SB, the 49ers also had 5 turn overs. The reason they forget, Niners won that game. Joe Montana was able to engineer the comeback.. I think Brock will be fine as well. He will learn from this and come February 11th, I think we wil be seeing the same match up, with different results.

Niner fan here.....I love Nick's opinions about Brock, but he always has bad things to say and even when Brock plays well Nick says he is mediocre or the team held him together. Brock is an excellent quarterback who, like many quarterbacks, has bad games. I still have faith in my team, because we stay faithful!

This is a good segment. Good job to both for doing it and fox sports for paying for it.
The Ravens boast the undisputed #1 defense in football. They consistently made Brock look subpar, a feat they could replicate against any other QB. They excel in their craft. However, even if Brock had a stellar game, he'd likely attribute it to the weapons, adhering to the same tired, casual take.
If you think Brock Purdy is a good QB that’s a casual take. Purdy = Jimmy G. They’re both system QB’s. Anybody that you know, actually watches the games can see that. Shanahan can take an average QB and make him look good in his system.
Brock was making a lot of good throws. Got a little cocky, tried forcing a few. A couple of tipped balls went the Ravens way. A good learning experience for him. Even with 4 turnovers, 49ers could have run in a late touchdown and made it a one score game. If Ravens can get to the Superbowl, my money will be on San Fran (they're a lock in the NFC).
Also Lamar is the only MVP candidate without a 1k + yards WR / TE or a 1k + yards RB

I would like to share that in 2003 - 2004 season Brady threw 4 INTs in his first game of the regular season versuses the Bills losing 34-0. HOWEVER they faced the Bills in the playoffs and did the exact same thing to them but in REVERSE! Same score but the Patroits stomped them, and went 14-2 that year and won the Super Bowl. That was the start of the back to back SB wins. YOU Never know. But I mean the Patriots only lost 2 games that season.
They lost that game 31-0. And they did not face the Bills in the playoffs that year.

One thing I watch when appreciating Lamar's game is the opposing defense. His scrambling and extending of plays tires defenses out. When Lamar escaped for his longest run, the 49ers defensive player were all but walking because they were to tired to try to chase him down. Lamar has a motor like Russell Westbook on the football field.

When I saw the Chiefs lose to the Raiders, I knew Nick's whole bit this week would be trashing the Bills, crapping on Josh Allen, and absolutely burrying Brock Purdy (which came later).
Remember, if the Chiefs scrape out a close win against a "bad" team, it shows they're RESILIENT & proves how great they are for winning despite not playing their best.
If Allen has a turnover, it's "TURNOVER MACHINE ALLEN!" But when his favorite QBs like Mahomes (1 less turnover than Allen, but 14 less TDs) or "The Prince" (leads the league in turnovers), he sweeps it under the rug & quietly downplays the significance.
Last thing Nick wants us to remember - if Mahomes plays poorly & the Chiefs lose, it's obvious Mahomes needs more help, but also Purdy is docked for having help, Hurts only became great when he got help, Tua only was good because Tyreek, and Allen only was good because Diggs.

Those two can't salvage the 2024 all by themselves.

Nick acting like there are 5 teams in the league who haven’t had a bad month. Really the only team to not have a period of shaky play is the Ravens, they have had some head scratches tho. Go and look at the endless throws Mahomes got where Kelce was WIDE open, where Kelce would go up for a ball that was technically a risky pass but it would become a great throw because Kelce somehow caught it.
This is what people are seeing now. Mahomes is having to be superman, just like Josh Allen has had to be most of his career, the difference is Mahomes only has the turnovers, without many of the eye-popping plays to lift his team, whereas Allen is always lifting his team since he came into the league. Look at it unbiased and without your Mahomes fanboy glasses on and you'll see what is so obvious.
