Lamar is the MVP for sure. Purdy threw 4 INTs against the Ravens, so I think he is pushed a little farther away from the MVP.
A “little” is an understatement. 49ers still have a terrific team capable of winning the Super Bowl, but an MVP QB they do NOT have. CMC deserves MVP head and shoulders above Purdy.
I mean, can you imagine the narrative if Lamar threw 4 INTs in this game? He’d be getting lambasted as a fraud and we’d be hearing all about out how terrible he is all over again.

Lamar finally has some help but the offense are still dropping too many balls. At least they are getting better and Lamar doesnt have to do everything. Lamar is saving his legs for critical plays late in the game or when its desperately needed. There is nothing the defense can do about it too. He is a freak QB who is only getting better in the pocket. With a creative OC and an elite defense, the Ravens can take it all the way to Vegas in 2024. Lamarvelous!

Two criticisms of Lamar:
1) we keep running options for him for QB keepers late in the game w/ us up a bunch of points. This is completely unnecessary. Let Gus run the ball. Nothing would derail our season faster than Lamar getting even a minor ankle injury or something at the bottom of a pile.
2) he played great yesterday for sure! but he had a few things he can still work on, one being don't bean your receivers on 5 yard routes w/ a full power throw, and two stop throwing sidearm when it isn't completely necessary. his accuracy is spot on when throwing normal, but he had a few random weird bad passes throwing sidearm in the early parts of the game when he didn't need to do it.
other than that, even though his stats aren't gaudy, unless you don't actually watch him play, there's no argument that can be made that he doesn't deserve to be the MVP frontrunner.

The defense was fresh because lamar was running an efficent offense. WITHOUT their two best players on offense in mark and keaton and purdy finally faced a real defense (philly's d is weak at inside linebacker n safety) and still couldnt do anything even with an ALL STAR SUPPORTING CAST top 5 all time left tackle top 5 play caller..
