First of all nice job by 'Carry On' on this song! Well done. Regarding the 27 year-old comment ... we have a phenomenal CSNY tribute band here in St. Louis that routinely packs (nearly) a good sized arena in neighboring St. Charles, MO. The band is called '4 & 20'. They typically play twice a year or so as 4 & 20-though they are starting to do more festivals and concerts in the park. If you go ... be prepared for vocals that are spot on ... and a mindblowingly-talented gun slinger of a guitarist who nails Stephen Stills' leads (not easy) and then always wows the crowds with putting his own touches & riffs on leads. I've seen most of the pros in my life -- Stills, Santana, Page, Beck and this guy--John Mondun (sp?) will wow your ears and take your heart to that level of playing!
Sorry ... I ramble. The crowds at 4 & 20 gigs are filled with fans of every age. Good music is good music.

Sounds great but, lose the "AND" before the "I am sorry" and " I am lonely" parts. Keep rockin' guys! Just loosen up a little, and you'll be perfect. You're the best I've heard, and I've been listening to CSNY since 1980.

Bob, the one in the middle is playing bass:) We overdubbed it after we realized it was needed. If you watch the video to the end there a few shots of him playing it.

Hmmm, we did it a few years ago. I'm not positive but I'm sure one of us may have doubled/ thrown in an extra harmony. When we do it live we will use 5 voices.

Who plays the Bass? Playback?
+cure969 Bob, the one in the middle plays the bass. After listening to the playback we realized that is needed a little more low end so he overdubbed the bass. He's in the video playing the bass but it's a little later in the song:)
