Short answer, yes. From the manual: MOTION RECORDING Real-time recording of MOD lane value changes is possible by pressing the Rec button while in the MOD lane menu and manipulating the encoders. You can record the encoder movements by playing along with the sequence, which will generate a looping automation envelope that lasts for the duration 51 of your sequence. It's important to note that modulation recording does not adhere to the sequencer's Record settings and it's possible for previous modulations to be overwritten. Furthermore, incoming MIDI messages from external devices can also be recorded, provided that the message kind and value on your external device corresponds to the one set on the OXI One (ensure to match the MIDI channel of your sequencer if you are filtering by MIDI channels in your configuration). Press any of the encoder buttons to turn OFF that motion. Turn or press the encoder to turn ON and continue the motion.
@@krazywabbit thx Ive been reading through the 4.0 manual and either missed this or havent gotten to this section yet. This feature makes more sense to why the instrument options are so valuable. Controlling tiny knobs is nice too.
Oxi is amazing, issue is it's almost double the $ of the OG PE Play. I'd love a Hapax too but that's almost 3 times the $ of a Play. Oxi I need to order from OS, pay import duties and then send back for warranty which would be expensive. It's a shame no local dealers for Oxi, it looks a ton of fun. What I have used of the Play does everything I have been wanting in a Sequencer for years, and I have been through maybe 15 of them.
I was looking at the keyboard on the left and asking myself: why this microfreak is sooo fckd up?
😂😂
Thanks for this, great wee pointer video
Welcome. Thanks and keep jammin!
This was really good. Didn’t know there was instruments options in the new FW 😄
Thanks. Now I have to avoid buying all 53 🤣
@@krazywabbitis there a supported device list anywhere?
is the oxi able to record parameter changes from the mod source?
