Absolutely sensational….you certainly are doing your bit to promote not only the sport fishing value of our humble Aussie Salmon, but the variety of culinary options is second to none. Currently I am totally hooked on Salmon Patties yet pretty sure sashimi is my next taste challenge. Thanks for sharing Steve. Tight Lines.
Absolutely amazing you are ,I had never even thought of making sashimi with Aussie salmon. Can't wait to catch my next salmon bring it home and try it,thank you for the idea. Keep up the great work ,love your videos.
Great vid again! It would get expensive and very annoying with those tailor biting whole rigs off. My fav dipping sauce is a mix of soy (or light soy), mirin, lime juice, crushed ginger and finely sliced spring onion. See you on the beach with a bib and chopsticks!!
And where do you get this miracle powder mate? Because regular wasabi I'm not really a fan of. Although it's been many years since I've had it, so it may be alright now days.
@SteveOutside Mate; I am trying to source the name of it. Each time I look at the bottle which is about the same size as one of those little HOYTS spice bottles, it is written up in bloody Japanese. Try asking a Japanese to translate.......SHEEEEssssshhhh!!! AS soon as I find out mate, I shall let you know. I love Sashimi and eat a lot of it. Whenever I see the bottle of the "MIRACLE POWDER" I give it a good hit. I do love pickled Ginger and Other Japanese pickles with it, but I do love my wasabi. The first time I tried it; I thought it was avocado, because it was green in colour, and I put the whole lot into my mouth. You should have heard my language when I could eventually speak. I invented some new words that would make the Royal Marines blush. Will let you know as soon as I find out. Cheers!
More great ways to enjoy the catch ,will certainly be trying both . Thanks for another great video.
Thanks heaps Michael 👍

I'm glad I'm not the only one who mixes the left over crumb into the left over egg and cooks it.

So you’ll be taking a bottle of Soy Sauce down the surf from now on?😂
Hey now there's an idea 💡
Thanks Duke.. 😅
SteveO, you need to add *WASABI* to your Soy. There is a chilie and other mixture Japanese powder that makes Sashimi taste BLOODY AWESOME
