@@One2ManyHobbies I have been able to collect all the necessary components to complete the mod but was thinking if hooked up to campground sewer, will you get odor from the sink without a p trap like the shower?
@@THEBREWER3 yes, that’s a great point! Adding a P-trap will solve this. I might have to make a modification to the modification! We haven’t used it will full hook ups yet, and we rarely will. Great observation!!
WOW... I just can't believe you don't have more subscribers. Positive energy from the host... Tips I haven't seen elsewhere, and just top notch production value. Well Done...
Looking forward to the Chuck Box video. I just bought one of these campers yesterday (the Flagstaff version). Anxious to see if I can build one like yours.
Awesome video. Have the same camper and have been meticulously following and watching (tens of times each) all your upgrade videos. Saving up for the Solar upgrade still. Thank you for posting all your hard work!! On this video still confused on one spot. Right at the beginning you cut the section from the P Drain on the shower. If you do that won’t the remaining straight pipe be too short to reach the new T. Second when you cut the existing shower vent T, where are you cutting it, as my camper existing T goes right up to the floor so can’t figure out how to install the new T once cut.
The T under the show, is just a vent, if your camper has an access door on the outside of the show, open it - you can see the little vent that goes up through the floor. I didn't cut it until I was able to pull it down from the floor, I cut it close, so I could reuse it again. I also cut right next to the T fitting, so I would be able to reuse the straight pipe going into the P trap. There is always extra material in P trap parts, there held together with O rings and threaded bolts - I had enough to reuse it. Hope that helps. Thanks for watching!
@@One2ManyHobbies Thank you for such a quick reply. Unfortunately, my 2020 model did not have the door your model year had. So I took a little time building up the courage before going for it knowing I would have to remove the shower cassette if it did not go well....Once I unscrewed the coupling p-trap pipe, though, the vent basically fell out. From there, it was so easy to finish up everything based on your video. Those gas lines were perfectly in the way as you noted too. Fantastic solution, supply list, directions, etc. Actually starting on your rewiring project now with the Victron components given the mess of wires up front. Getting the welding done on the propane tanks and toolbox next week. Thank you again. 👍
Thank you so much for this excellent walk-through. I have the 232 ESP and I've been thinking about doing this exact type of mod. This is going to help me get it done SO much quicker. Really appreciate the attention to detail here and including the parts list at the end of the vid. Nice work!
My camper has a similar floor plan to yours. I have always wanted to do this to my popup camper. I didn’t see the sense on having two grey water drains on opposite sides of the camper. It’s very inconvenient and you have to have two grey water tanks to catch the water and who wants extra work. Thanks for sharing.
You are the man! I have a 232 ESP and I’m currently copying your mod. I have one question, any reason you didn’t extent the drain outlet to the edge of the camper? I’m thinking it’ll make for easier hook up being at the edge instead of underneath. Thanks again.
@@One2ManyHobbies understood. I also stole inspiration from your chuck box video and made a setup for my outdoor oven. Is there a way to comment with a picture on UA-cam? I’d love to send you some pics, I’m sure you’d appreciate it.
One thing I can't follow...you mention reusing the straight pipe from the shower p-trap. What about the trap itself? Did you remove that? If so, how do you stop the sewer gas going up the shower drain if connected to campsite sewer?
Glad I found your channel; we got several good ideas we can use on our Fleetwood Evo 2 Popup. I really like the gray water plumbing mod; I will have to see if I can do the mod.
This is one of the best modifications I've done to my trailer - have the shower connected to the sink is really nice - especially when you have full hook ups to a 3" RV hose.
We have the same camper. I have always wondered why the sink did not drain properly. Thank you for this video.
I have a 2017 of the same model camper and finally got around to completing this mod. Works great, thank you for posting such a detailed video.
Awesome! Glade it works out well - we love it!
Nice I am going do it
Audio is perfect this time. Thanks again.
Thanks - figured it was worth the hassle to fix & re-upload! Educational or Instructional videos need good audio I think!
The air vent from etrailer has gone up $3 in the past 6 hours.
@@THEBREWER3 Seriously, you can use a different vent - I actually found mine at an RV parts store.

Doing the mod this weekend! Thanks for the content!
How did the mod go?

Oooh super excited for the box video!

Thanks Mike!

No real reason, I like kind of hiding the 5 gallon bucket we use to catch water & I dump it when it gets full.

Nice mod! Definitely need to look into doing something like this. Our sink drains so slow!
This is one of the best modifications I've done to my trailer - have the shower connected to the sink is really nice - especially when you have full hook ups to a 3" RV hose.
Does the air vent being in the camper not release sewer gases inside? In a house, it's code to have them above the roof...
It could it it's opened, or a lot of pressure - the vent isn't always open and there is a small P trap under the sink.
I RE-UPLOAD this video to FIX the AUDIO issues...........I'll remove the bad audio file at the end of the month since I'm doing a GIVEAWAY!!!
Could you show how you modified the drain at the sink, or share that video
I walk through the whole process in the video - I didn’t leave anything out. I’m not sure what part your talking about
