@@MrWestTek Ok so that would be a great idea. But how can they get away with a “fusion fuse box”? It would definitely save lots more room, that’s for sure.
Speaking of camp budget…. I watch your videos and other FO76 UA-camrs, as well as now having to visit best builds periodically, and can’t for the life of me figure out how you guys get such huge builds with a massive structure/multiple structures and tons and tons of stuff! I have a fairly simple 3x3 2 story house with partial wrap around porch and a few items to give the property some character and a couple of resources, but really quite plain as for decor due to my budget being maxed. When I have a challenge that requires building a certain number of camp items, I can only place a few and have to scrap and place more to complete the challenge. I have such a sparsely decorated camp, minimal lighting, no fancy merges or junk displays, and I had done the generator swap to free some a while back, plus removed some work benches since I could have them in a shelter. It bums me out that I can’t add all the cool stuff other players have. Maybe a good future video would be on camp budget and how to make it look full with cool decor while also functional with the equipment we need without sucking up the entire build budget.
Radius is good but very horizontal - it does not project very high vertically, so if you have a tall multi-level CAMP like I have, it still means you need to use wiring for upper floors
Awesome INFO!!! You are a lifesaver dude. On a note about weird custom camp vending machines. Please light up the vending machine area, make them obvious, use the Pipboy cardboards to point at the stuff, one minimum, please? Thanks. Sincerely, Bad Eyesight Players.
@@MrWestTek I remember going to some camps looking for the candy bowl and many had the pointing cardboard pipboys, some didn't and trying to find that was a pain. The regular vending machines are not hard to find but the other ones are easier to miss, so for them the cardboard pointer is nice, doesn't use power and are cheap. Again thanks for all the cool tips and tricks that you provide. Cheers mate!
THIS right here was amazing. Watched your video yesterday on the alien bundle and saw a commenter telling others about this alien emitter generator- it’s perfect. I got a ton of new space to build after getting rid of all my generators + wires, it works like a charm
The only ones who this "better than you think" applies to is the people who dont know how to read simple descriptions of the products before they buy them. Quite literally says it covers "a very large area" 🙄🤫
How can you say that after the tomato generator scandal (small generator) they can't make it clear on what some item does will do. People and I thought it was a literal item generator but no it's a 3 power small generator
Thanks for the explanation/demonstration, personally I prefer the look of the Utility Box Fusion Generator, but I'd rather buy the new alien one at 500 Atoms than spend 900 for the Utility set :(
Same here, that's what I did. I was waiting for the utility one to go on sale and it hasn't happened. This Zetan one looks decent enough and does the same thing for half the cost
Problem is... I thought... It's a lot of players later will be searching for your vendor because the alien vendor doesn't look anything like any of the regular vendors. I guess people will get used to them eventually depending how players use them. But it's a thought at least.
Yeah I heard you can find them in vendors pretty cheap. Also I'm wondering can you sell items after you name them? I bought a ton that I thought said the forest maps but they were actually ash heap. It was weird.
@@JusDoug0110 theres a quite a few videos on youtube showing where every treasure spot is so I would looked that up so you don't have to figure out every spot. Its easier.
Besides the fact that these kind of generators are amazing because it saves CAMP budget, conduits generally also look kinda ugly when you are trying to light up a big CAMP build.
I gave you a thumbs-up. What is that thing in the beginning of the video on the far right of the popcorn machine? And what is that thing on the left side of the popcorn machine? Thanks.
I don't buy a lot of content from the atomic shop but I bought the bundle that this came with. I like the alien vendor and I like the utility of this generator.
I have the "Utility box generator" set. I got it many months ago. And it has never worked. Even if I install electrical connectors right next to things that I want to power-up, the UBG does not work. I always have to connect the UBG directly via wire to each thing I want powered.
Dammit! As soon as I read the description on the Alien Generator and learned it radiates power, I unlocked it. Then I watch this video, and learn that the Utility Box, which I already owned, also radiates power. Argh.
Is the radius the same as the other generator? The shop text is suspect, but it implies it’s a bigger radius than the Utility Box? Also, is the radius a sphere or a cylinder? How well does it sink with a drop merge?
Have any conduit showing there your connections are entirely wired and you know there are actual mirrors that can connect to the generator and also connect your wire connection like that so you can run in the mirror into an area via conduit that sits on the outside on the roofout of sight out of mind
Dose your red rocket Collectron get stuck on automotive parts like mine dose ? I like that fact that the hard wire conduit allows you to put swith in with wireless transmitter and shut lites on/off even when the lights dont have wire to attach.. so this geny is not for me
This "camp budget" issue is litterally as bad as the lack of building possibilities in this game. Have a tonns of wires? Get our premium stuff and get rid of those mfers (almost). And even in that case you still has no "wireless chargers" to power up things that need a direct wire connection, lmfao.
I quite stand for, wireless power items should not need any power but generator present anywhere at all, get rid of this 'radiated' power thing, make everything either connected by cable or nothing, repurpose those conduit emiters as receivers of this 'radiated' power if you want to use it, ease life to everyone, simplyfy and get rid of annoying mechanics, especially ones those give us nothing anyway And despite I am owner of box generator, I would argue indeed this should be property of every generator, not only premium ones, or some generators with this ability should be available for free by playing, bot that it is OP or ehatever, but camp building is already one of few things to work on and for in endgame, and it surely deserves many improvements and fixes
Thanks, but I expect you didn’t have a single conduit in that place either all you had was connections for the wires. Those by themselves are a bitter if you’re going to run I mean if you’re worrying about your let’s say your vendor just put a solar panel right next to it on the ground and connect directly to it all good don’t need 100 K generator to run Vendor it me when people have 100 kW fusion generator and they’re running all three lights off of it there’s like seven other ways to run that vendor put them all deck a little single volt tech generator right next to it put a solar panel stand right next to it. You can literally even hide the generator behind italthough you’re getting back to generators using it’s not it’s not the conduit you call it or the wires that are using up a bunch of camp space it’s the generator.
I assumed this did the same thing. I just personally find spending an additional $5 on a prettier version of a generator I already own, to be redundant. I do a damn good job of hiding my generators and try not to use too many things that require wires… but if I ever decide to do an alien theme shelter, I’ll definitely snag it
I dunno how you guys have so many garbage out in your camps. I just build some utility stuffs and some floors, walls, and stairs and the budget gets full already.
Floors and walls take up more of your camp budget than the utilities, is my understanding. If you aren’t already familiar with it check out the Flamingo Unit Spreadsheet and general discussion about it for some documented insights into what all the camp items cost from your camp’s budget.

Plus the wires take up budget for the camps too. I've actually been told attaching a wire would exceed the camp budget once.
Great point 👍
The fact this thing doesn't generate aliens is highly disappointing.

Big brain Bethesda. Create a problem, sell a solution.
When you're packing all of the content into your camp as possible, that conduit budget can be pretty massive
It also makes your camp look better, eliminating all those cables.
The best part is, you can stick them inside of those copper fountain thingies to hide them. It’s a great item
Nice. I wish more generators did this. Or a power emitter you can stick on the wall and have it power an area
On the wall like a fuse box would be really cool, agreed :)
