That's crazy nice growth...Your cuttings/carnage pile constitutes my entire P.A. collection🤣😂😪 and you've only been growing them like 2-3 years, Well done...Obviously you have succulents figured out...Pruned up quite nicely...'Gotta take them back a step for them to get to get better looking or closer to Bonsai...' Great inspiration of what you can accomplish once you understand your trees...Thanks for sharing...
Hi, this one is probably about 2 years old. I'll be removing the wire soon. It's getting pretty snug at the base of the tree. There's really no certain timeframe to leave the wire on. It just depends on how fast the tree is growing.
Mine has been struggling for around 6 months and I can’t figure out why. It is refusing to absorb water through the roots and all the leaves are shriveling up. I attempted to loosen up the roots about a month ago and repot it but haven’t seen really any progress yet. What is really baffling is the clippings I took from it around a year ago are doing wonderfully with the same fertilizer and forgetting to water them much more often. The leaves are plump so I only water the clippings once or twice a month and the main plant once a week since it desperately looks like it need water to bounce back. Starting to wonder if my grow light is killing it since it is quite close to the top of the plant. (The clipping have always sat by a window since I never had time to train them and make them look pretty) That could explain the shriveling leaves but not the roots refusing to absorb water. I don’t know, I am at a loss
Hi, sometimes it's hard to figure out since leaves shriveling can be over or under watering. I notice mine doing that when the environment changes(like bringing them in for the winter). Did you root prune when you repotted? Sometimes that can spur growth. Like you suggested, you could always try to change location/lighting and see if that helps.

Thanks for the comment.
You never really specified how old this was. I’m guessing about a year? When will you be taking the wire off the trunk?
