Graham, I just want you to know that you are my favorite bonsai professional and you’ve always been!! I’m 34 years old and I live in the USA. Your videos are the first bonsai videos , I ever found on UA-cam!! It’s been over 10 years now and I know you’re not chomping at the bit to consistently put out UA-cam content but I absolutely love your techniques and how you can turn nothing into something!! Thanks for the video!!!
Your words of wisdom at the end of the video are true for any artform. An oil painter can't expect to learn only from videos. It requires moving paint around, dabbing it here and there, and maybe even getting your fingers involved in the process. Videos, like yours, point the way, but excellence is only achieved by doing. Thanks Graham for pointing the way.
The beginning seems startling, and then the change is interesting. Further along feels like a creation and then coming up to the finish feels like a gift.
G,day Graham I know you are a world class bonsai master but your transformation videos are why I started watching your channel many years ago, please keep them going and don't forget us bonsai peasants, cheers for Adelaide Australia.
fantastic video from the best in the uk, the tree may not be a show winner but its one every one would be happy to have, love the advice at the end to, Merry Christmas to you and your loved ones.
That was truly inspirational. I started and have continued my bonsai journey with several young trees, and some I've dug out of other's yards. This video was incredible, not just because of how that yew turned out way better than I thought it would, but also hearing you talk through it in a manner that speaks volumes of your experience, and in a way that even I can understand. Thank you!
Oh my favourite Bonsai Master uploading again!!! My handsome Teddy bear -Graham ❤❤❤ Merry early Xmas to you and your family!!!!! Your fan from Haywards heath!!! ❤
Great stuff Graham, really interesting and informative. We chatted at Peter Chans bonsai journeys gig in the summer (i travelled from Dublin), I learned lots, and am very grateful, keep up the good work man!
Great to see a new video from you. It looks pretty good to me. Perhaps we could see some of the trees you have been refining in the future for inspiration. Best wishes.
Hey! Nice one. Watching your work made me get a selection of nursery stock and start training; now, five years later, I have some decent bonsai-bound little rascals. Quickest "mature" results came with larches and beech, which seem made for bonsai; southern beech (Nothofagus) has exciting form and with its naturally tiny leaves looks stunningly aged already. Metasequoia and sweetgum (Liquidambar) are also a joy to work with. THANKS for giving me a supercool hobby mate! Changed my life for the better, no joke.
Thank you Graham 🖖 Wise words which resonate with Me as I have reached a somewhat lower skill level. But enough to take stock of where I am and what I should be Enjoying now 😅🌳🌲🎄
What you said about it taking 10 or so years to become a passable bonsai is something that should be spread around more. The amount of trees in random pots for sale at ridiculous prices is a joke. “Just say it’s bonsai and you can charge a ton for it”.

Good job 👏👏👏
Great transformation- negative space down the middle too.
Great video Graham I wouldn’t say that tree was bad at all 👊
Finally new video
Well done....
Brilliant!

Yes I hate that you put a hobby or craft name on something and the price doubles typically, its an absolute joke
💚🙏
Grandios 👍 👍 👍
Watch, learn, but then do and really learn!!!!!
Which is often uploud video

Not a show tree eh? Looking pretty good anyway. BTW, love my little terrier, thanks~
