I found that if I load into a Deathmatch and run a Ghost, my aim improves very well. I simply focus on counter strafing and keeping calm. I think a big problem that I, and many others, have is that when you see an enemy, you panic. You completely forget everything you have spent hours training on. Just remember it's not life or death, just a game. Keep a clear head and keep your crosshair where it needs to be

I always panic and can't clean my mind while I'm playing. Maybe I'm just an overthinker and that's why in my 25 I'm still bronze 1 and still silver 2 in CS:GO (Was playing CS from 2004 and still panic).

Mixing in bursting and tapping especially with the vandal also helps a lot. Crosshair placement is also super important in regards to the whole crouching thing since insta crouch throws it off
@@sondo301_ i also had this issue where i couldnt really focus on my crosshair or crosshair placement at all so i went with a black crosshair and also turned off bullet tracers. Really helps.

I want to add something here. Train your side tracking aim, don't train too much on flicking. Personally I just load up aimlab and practice/warmup on side to side tracking. It greatly helps your mental ability to counter strafe burst shoot

I needed to deactivate my crouch binding for the first matches, that helped me. Thanks for the video, helped a lot. Simple tip, but powerful when you stick to it. And of course in some situations you need to crouch for whatever reasons but the main message is clear. ;)

No it won’t, you shouldn’t unbind crouch, other than other uses for crouch, simply unbinding crouch, isn’t helping your crouching addiction, it’s only halting it until yo7 decide to rebound it and you will rebuild the habit, the key is too keep crouch on and focus on conditioning yourself to it crouch with the crouch button, if you can’t do that, then you will never get rid of that crouching addiction.@@MightyFartBomber1
I started focusing a lot on movement a few weeks ago and have already improved a lot because of this concept. i used to struggle in dm and now i usually am top 3 or 4. it's given me way more confidence in comp. definitely implore anyone who wants to get better to focus on this if they haven't yet
I’ve seen countless videos with the same advice and I still go back to old habits and I have to catch myself and remind myself to stop crouching and spraying off the bat. I will keep practicing my movement and burst shots
Yea bc the tip to “unbind crouch” is absolute bullshit and is basically doing worse that helping you because all your doing is halting your crouching addiction instead of actually getting rid of it, the only genuine way to get rid of it is to keep it binded and condition yourself to strafe with crouch on and only crouch when needed, think if it like if you want to stop eating too much chips, you wouldn’t leave them off your table, you would have them around you, but condition yourself to not eat them despite being able to do so, if you just put them away, one day when your studying with someone and they offer a bag of chips, you can’t resist because now the bag is there, whereas if you left them on the table, you would resist because you have already conquered the fact that you have conditioned yourself to not give in to temptation with the product in front of you.

Strafing made me way better. I can still remember 2 months ago where I stood still in range, always sprayed/crouched. Back then I was Silver I. Now I started strafing way more. Ofc I spray sometimes but mostly when I am near to an enemie or if I am being shot at, as it isn't to usefull if I am trying to strafe while I am slowed down and there is an enemie in front of me. Now I am Gold III and already got more kills than a lot of diamonds, some immortals or even a radiant and I got most of the kills from strafing and not spraying.

That’s true for some lobbies but once you get higher in rank people are just gonna flick down. Bc all they have to do is aim and shoot. If you are crouching that’s so much movement before you are able to shoot. So it’s tough.

you are right because in a deathmatch i played without crouching and i got 23 kills in 5 mins (in 5 mins because i was inactive till the last 5 mins of the match) and i was easier to counter strafe and kill enimies after using your tips ! thanks bro !!!!!!!
when u are using pistol vs gun (and if u have good aim) it`s kinda advantage. Specially in DM. Pistol has muuuch more move speed. So if you are not crouching and strafing correctly whilst aiming good, you move a looot faster and most of player are freaking out in deathmatch when they see someone with pistol. It`s psychological shit. they get more nervous ( how can pistol kill me mindset) and starting to spray.

For me as fromer low-pro CSGO player is still hard to remember one thing: NEVER CROUCH FFS The only thing i started to use which helped me to solo carry in both Valo and CSGO is burst mode (3 bullets) Not trying to pray for a one tap, not trying to pray my spray will make it - just burst ur bullets. Much higher chance to kill an opponent.
In CS crouching can still be done, and not for recoil or for spraying, but to peek certain angles where opponents are holding headshot level angles and not awping. You can either force them to miss first bullet or delay their first shot because they have to readjust.
As a content creator on Valorant coaching as well I would like to point out some stuff from your video. Everything from the first 2/3 of the video was amazing. The examples are well illustrating the points you are making. But the last deathmatch part in my opinion is not necessary as your video is suppose to be more hardcore and No BS as your title discribed. If you are trying to extend the length of the video I would suggest you to bring our more theory to help people understand the mechanics behind it. As we all know that classic against rifles are non-practical in real games and people in DM who cannot out shoot a classic means they are really bad. No matter if you are strafing or not. Overall, it would considered as more of a luck and you are shooting against bad players. This is not something you would advocate because people might misunderstood it. Where your actual point is that with counter strafing without crouching you migh even outshoot a rifle player. Just my personal opinion. My contents are not on UA-cam. I would love to discuss with you if you disagree with me. Because I want to be better on my content and video structure too. All the best
This thumbnail is actually insane to think about... Players will overflick and strafe into the headshot (as they should) but it's just crazy how many people don't know this is the actual style of Valorant aiming. It's something that LOOKS wrong, but it very much isn't.
I want to thank CSGO, csgo players and csgo influencers for teaching me this kind of thing 4 years ago. What the guy says is true but you will understand over time that squatting can be beneficial at certain times in a duel or to break an opposing line. if i can give you some advice. pros and good players move in a way that makes them VERY hard to hit when uninformed. If your opponent seems to take a long time to hit you or miss his first shot, even if you are engaged in a duel, before shooting, move a little right or left and kill him. He will not be able to spray you and will have a very hard time recalibrating himself on you.
In short: - movement is king, crouch when target is too far or for spray control - build that 9 bullet only spray mentality to not over-recoil - practice fundamentals (i.e. tracking, flicking, strafing, game sense, etc.)
Best tip is to unbind crouch. Even if you try and not crouch, you will do it due to muscle memory. Much better to unbind it and when you die because it didn't crouch, you learn it the hard way xD
It helps ALOT especially for people who crouch without even thinking, plus its just temporary. Long enough to break your habit of crouching until you get to a point where you can see the very specific times you should crouch like that kill of skye
Stop giving people such shit advice it pisses me off that low elo players listen to the common “unbind crouch” to get rid of the crouching habit because your not getting rid of it, your literally just temporarily getting rid of it, I guarantee you the time you rebound crouch you will crouch spray every single gun fight that it isn’t even funny. In order to truly lose the crouch addiction, you need to keep crouch and condition yourself to strafe with the crouch on and trust your strafing, and to only crouch spray when necessary.

I am new to valorant but I heard many people mention skins make aim better is it just because of effects skins give or else they increase any actual stats of guns?
Some skins just fit the style people like. Either the Animation, Sound or the looks. They do not change anything about the stats. They are cosmetic only.

I remember when I was new and I didn't wanna crouch. Then I learned to crouch and became better at the game. There r just certain times that u need to crouch. That's my biggest weakness
The best way to learn when to crouch is to watch back your vods and critique what you do in gunfights.

The best way to aim would be burst strafe with vandal and u can crouch sometimes to help control spray or spray transfer

I hate that crouching is just a reflex at this point, so much so I just removed the crouch keycap entirely to prevent it
