    • @ha-il9bd

When you aim should you focus at looking at crosshair or enemies?
Also should you keep your hands tensed up or loose to be more consistent or just not think about it and let your hand do its thing? Usually while trying to get fast in aimlabs I notice my hands usually get tensed up and yes I'm hitting new higher scores with higher accuracy and reaction speed. Just what should you do to stay more consistent tensed up or chill

    Short summary of P.R.E.M.S. method:
P -> Practice bots (maintain crosshair steady at head level, only move aim horizonally, remember only tapping not spraying)
R -> Recoil control (turn of infinite ammo, spary full magazines of phantom until you run out of ammo, repeat same process with vandal. Place target at 20-30 meters)
E -> Easy bots (Focus on accuracy not speed, try to get each and every one with a single headshot. You can move further from bots if you feel confortable. Recommended to use sheriffs and guardians for tapping)
M -> Medium bots (Same but with increased difficulty)
S -> Strafe and movement (50 bots, go to the side of the range for less wide movement of mouse. Use a and d to move side to side, while trying to maintain aim at head of bot, remember to stop and then shoot)

Only Task I added to this, was setting the Bots to Strafe and aiming near them (as if holding an angle) and trying to headshot them while they are strafing or as they stop walking - for situations when the enemy is peeking. I can really recommend this Routine. Thanks for the good Video man!

  • @Kenf333
    @Kenf333 2 роки тому +216

Some other tips: The fundamental shape you should be drawing while trying to aim is the square box. This is because wasd are the only ways to move, and thus evade your shots, on a keyboard (a box shape) with the occasional diagonal movement. As noted in this video (passive vs active mechanical aiming), it is easier to strafe (move side to side) and move with your keys while keeping your mouse still rather than trying to adjust your mouse which is hard to do as it can be rather free-form. Make mouse adjustments outside of the box principle only when necessary.
Another thing to keep in mind is to draw a backwards L while firing and then extend tohat to an upside-down T eventually as that is the usual recoiil patterns of most weapons.
Another thing, there is the defender's aim (when you're holding an angle) and the attacker's aim (when they're pushing an angle), as a defender if you just stay still and try to aim with your mouse whereas they're aiming with their keyboard and keeping their mouse still while strafing into you you're at a disadvantage because the mouse is more free-form than the keyboard. This is why you have to use some counter-movements as well to match the aggressor. Either assume a different angle each time they're peeking out, place yourself in an unexpected area since you have the advantage of an open environment as opposed to them going through chokepoints usually, or just match their strafes with your own, don't rely on your defender's advantage 100% of the time as it will fail sometimes.
Aso, note that if someone is peeking you going right (left from your perspective they have the advantage as recoil goes right initially on your end which will miss them, especially if you are backing up to a wall on the right and they have open space on the left (your perspective) , including the other directional possibilities etc. so adjust for all this (also if they are backing up a hill or going down it and you are just moving forward and backwards on flat ground you have the advantage because you can see the hill whereas they can't and it's more unpredictable for them whereas you're on flat ground (just my guess).
Finally, there are usually 3 options when choosing which parts of the target to aim for listed in order of priority: 1. Aim for the head and pull down just enough halfway to keep the shots hitting the head area to go for quick headshots, and thus efficient wins. 2. Start at the body and pull down just enough halfway so that your shots eventually go up towards the head to the recoil, 3. Start at the body and keep the recoil centered at the body for body shots and a larger target.

Bro thank you so much I was doing the PREMs method for bit more than a week now and see so big improvements, I also realized I didn't really had bad aim before, but since I stopped choking and giving myself time to actually BE on the target and hit the first shot, it is so much easier, I can just recommend to play one round DM without killing opponents to just realize how long opponents actually need to kill you, its enough time to get the counterstrafe and hit the first shot!

    P.R.E.M.S Method starts at 3:10
If you want a text summary here:
    1. Practice bots no strafe infinite ammo + bot armor enabled. Just try to only tap heads for 2-3 minutes, go as slow as you need.
    2. Go to the area near the practice bots that has the single bot and the target. Turn off infinite ammo and select the 30m option. Spray all your bullets with the phantom/vandal and try to keep it in the center. Once bullets are gone buy the rifle you didn't use and do it again. Repeat for 2 minutes.
    3. Go back to the practice bots, turn on infinite ammo and turn on/off bot armor (doesn't matter). Buy a guardian/sherrif, set the bots to easy, and kill all 30 bots headshots only and go as slow as needed.
    4. Do the same as above but with medium bots. Aim for 20 or more, 25+ if your aim is better.
    5. Now select the eliminate 50 option, turn on infinite ammo and bot armor setting is irrelevant. Get onto the side of the bots and not in the main area. Put your crosshair on the bots head, strafe a bit keeping the crosshair on the head as much as possible, then kill it. Do this for all 50 bots, be as accurate as possible.
After the routine, go into a deathmatch or 2, and practice crosshair placement, accuracy, and reaction time. Play without sound and rely only on visual input.
