Good to see you doing vids again. Really appreciate it. also really loved it how you had Bright socks on for when you did the cab tour and the headset filming as we could see you driving in socks. Nothing wrong with plain black ones but I’d really recommend wearing the ones with the bright colored toes and heel as they would come up well in the filming. But really good film iano
Hi IG, great video matey. I love to just drive and go to different t places my self. Not done the UK to Ireland yet but maybe one day. Keep up the good work 👍
Hi Ian. Big fan, Love trucks but never been inside one or even looked around one up close. Any chance your ever in Dublin It be so cool if you could show us around the truck!
I live in North Wales, and did 2 years pulling those Maxi double decker's from Holyhead to Northampton. I also worked for Gleneagle Furniture from Oldcastle for 4 years doing the UK.
Pull a similar style trailer here in the US we call them Curtainsides. Haul mostly building materials stacked so tight we don’t have to strap them. We have the same types of vertical bars that slide down the trailer. Interesting to see, stay safe!
I'm an Irish trucker but I spent a few years in the USA 🇺🇸 driving mainly up and down the East Coast to start off with. When I eventually headed out West I never looked back. Incredible journeys time and time again with no water of ferries to worry about in between. I've fond memories of my days behind the wheel and the sights, scenary and people I met along the way. 😉
Anyone else see the Red Bull racing lorry when he as going back to Ireland? they were probably setting up for the showrun in Dublin when this was recorded.
I know what ya mean about driving different places, I’m out of portadown and feel like I’ve seen every blade of grass in Ireland. You should think about Australia or Canada for a few years.
I would love to see more shots of your truck stops there, iam very curious how they compare to american truck stops. I know the feeling when the chicken coup "check point"is locked up....
What i hate about doing Europe is getting off the ferry at dover the M25 OR theM2 .ITS SO LOUD LIKE MASSIVE POT HOLES AND CRATERS .I HATE COMING BACK .going out is brilliant .
Anyone know any Irish Trucking firms looking for new class 1 drivers ? I thought there was a desperate shortage of drivers ? Let me know if anyone knows anything for a new passer ! Thanks for sharing …….
Do you guys over in Europe have drivers log book or hours of service? We here in the United States have ELD required to keep track of drive times and off duty status. We can only drive a max of 11 hours of drive time and 3 hours of non drive time after that we must have 10 hours of off duty time per day. Total of 70 hours of drive in 8 days before we must have a 34 hours reset time off duty.
We have the digital tachograph. Basically the same system you guys use , however slightly more limited than you guys in the states . We only have 9 hours drive time , and 15 hour spread over your day. We can extend it to 10 hours twice a week . We can do 6 shifts then take 24hour break but the following week we need to take 45 hours break to compensate for the reduced week .
Can I operate as an independent contractor in Ireland? In other words, can the salary I earn as a driver go to my company as opposed to the salary going to me personally?
Good to see you back Ian! Safe travels my man

Nice one brother. Great content as usual
Great video and great hosting
That Redbull lorry was going to the Redbull showrun in Dublin. F1 car in the back of her
The scenery is hugely different than what I see here in the states. It's all 4-6 lane highways and warehouses for me.

It's in yer blood "the wheels have to be turning"
If it’s not too rude of a question what’s a truck driver getting per week at the moment??
Don’t know about everyone else , but I wouldn’t get out of bed for less that €1700 a week.
