That 2 pole could have been feeding a multi wire circuit with a shared neutral, assuming it wasn't feeding a 240v load. May want to have a sparky check it. If it is, a simple breaker tie would keep it safe. Odd to have a 30 amp feeding no. 14 wire.
I love all the super tecs and pro press queens getting butt hurt because that install will last the next 25 years if the equipment does...great job Steve as always!!!
Well, when you've got guys out here charging $4000-5000 for a water heater replacement these days, it kind of incentivizes homeowners to attempt it themselves. I've seen some wild homeowner specials on water heaters, that guy didn't do too shabby at all in comparison. Just botched the flue pipe, that's where the lack of knowledge homeowners have can get scary. The backdraft would've melted that flex line in time and caused a major leak/flood. I would've tested his gas connections too on that thing just for peace of mind.
My mother had a carrier +90. It kept kicking out soon after it woukd establish a flame. She had several technicians look at it and they would clean the pilot and sparker assembly, but the problem remained. I decided to check it out myself and found that the condensate collector box was cracked, likely from rough handling during installation, causing the pressure switch to trip out. I replaced the box, no more problem.
Bruh, you're a sheet metal expert, electrician, concrete contractor, plumber, all rolled into one Professional dude!
Nice install Steve, your a good man.
Nice, clean install, Steve.
Nice neat install steve , you should be proud of your work 👍🇺🇸
That old furnace was a mouse slayer.
That furnace caught more mice than the farmer's wife.
Clean and tight, you make it look easy.
Nice job!! Thanks for sharing.
Good job. It looks like a pro installed it. You are a pro!
When I see what 'AntiDIY' guy deals with... they got clowns installing stuff down there.

Hey Steve, you just found the world's largest mouse trap.
I will be doing one later This week 😊
Lmao guy flips every breaker when its labeled right on the box door. Sometimes it doesnt hurt to read labels
I DID READ IT WAS A 30 AMP --220 BREAKER LABELED HEAT... SO THAT MAKES NO SENSE JUST LIKE YOUR COMMENT
Hey Steve did you put the dishes away after you washed them
Going for a cruise with Dr. Steve and Nurse Molly..

Hello Steve
Howdy Steve and Miss Molly
Why is there a delay before the burners fire?
Had to clear the air out of the gas line since it the the first time.
Steve likes hangers. Lol
Good job fixing the water heater vent!
Gas pressure test?
Combustion analysis?
Heat rise test?
i cut the grass and raked the leaves before i left ...ooo also dusted and vacuumed the house , and did the dishes also
😂
Steve if you ever do work in Townsend, let me know
Shouldn’t this have a flue liner in the chimney?
He said it had one
@ oh thanks I missed that
What does 80+ and 90+ furnace mean ?
80 percent efficiency vented into a chimney ....90 percent vented outside side wall of house 90 + has 2 heat exchangers
The heater better than mouse trap moma
Thanks sir. Guy should mark his circuits, lol.
No labels or info on anything drives me completely bonkers.
pretty sure i saw stickers on the inside of the door, those may have not been there before though
Nice job Steve! And put an 80 back in and not a 90 plus piece of junk. He needs to watch your videos on how to do a nice solder job.
Roads are bad by you my friend.
gas shut off valve isnt legal
Molly at home sleeping?

Was that about a $15,000 payday for you?
Hey Steve and Miss Molly! Workin’ again ya’ll. 👍👍
Wow, each situation is different. You come on each customers' particular packadillos! Wow again.
Not first 😤
That water tower you were passing by,do you know how much water it holds? That is the shortest one I’ve ever seen.
I love Steve's videos, but
I would suggest some editing, I watch these videos at 2X the speed. 😉
