- The beauty of Yellowstone National Park is sometimes overshadowed by its popularity. But when the temperature drops, the wonders and magic outnumber the tourists.

This video was the best I have ever seen of Yellowstone. Thank you Slim for putting a tremendous amount of time into showing us hot springs, geysers and the thermal pools close up. I felt like I was standing there in front of them.
Slim, your work is just AWESOME.
You really captured the natural beauty in Yellowstone, Slim. Outstanding.
Thanks Slim. I prefer going there with winter in the air!
This was one of my favorites, awesome video Slim👍
Slim, you're now on par with National Geographic imo. 👍
Maze Centric Agreed!!
Yes, check out vid, where the wolves take down a bison☠️☃️
Am I the only one who thinks that Slim's voice sound like the narrator from the old Mutual of Omaha Wild Kingdom show?
His voice is perfect for these videos. This is one of my new favorite channels. 🏔️🏕️👍🏼
And did you guys noticed his narrator's voice, although very nice, is quite different than his regular one ('I had to say that'....part), such a sweet voice...
What I like about you, more than the other outdoor you tubers, is the time in effort you put in to showcase your beautiful country. Always looking forward to the next one.
He is a Canadian 👍
@@Scrambler85 Forgot that lol
Same continent
@@Troutay so is Mexico but not the same country 😉
Just trying to be nice all around
This has been one of the most enjoyable vids, for me, that I’ve watched in your series. Thanks for sharing and taking me along.
Great video Slim such wonderful scenery as always thank you so much for taking us along 👍👍😊
Lovely to see the Bison walking along without a care in the world.
This is the best video of Yellowstone I have seen. You did a great job and we all enjoyed it. Thank you so much for sharing.
Yellow stone is BEAUTIFUL. Nature is BEAUTIFUL
Beautifully done. Thank you for sharing the beauty of Yellowstone with us, Slim.
I wish I had your editing skills! Great video.
This is one of your best videos out of so many great videos you have done. The photographie is super. Thank you.
Your videos are outstandingly beautiful! I enjoyed this one immensely!🇨🇦
Slim my dude. Awesome as usual. You truly are an artist. Thank you.
Mother Nature sure knows how to put on a show. Great job capturing it.
Thank you. The next best thing to being there. A work of art.
Excellant video Slim, so beautiful!! Thank you so much for bringing this to us.
Nothing takes you out the wilderness quicker than the sound of engine brakes.
“...so they should be…”. Agreed!
I first started watching your videos for the camping info. Silly me, whenever I click play, that’s what I’m expecting and next thing I know I am in the middle of a gorgeous nature travelogue, and happily so!
I don’t know how you do it, it’s artistry!
Slim, thanks for the awesome scenery in all of your videos. I appreciate the fact you visit places off the beaten path, places most tourists skip over, and in all sorts of weather. Your videography is simple but tremendously effective. I appreciate how you make your videos about the places you visit and not about you. It makes me want to visit every place you capture.
I think this might be one your very best videos ever. I loved it.
Thank you Slim. Peaceful, relaxing, a nice escape from the day.
We enjoy all your videos Slim. So beautiful and the colours were amazing. Thanks for taking us along on your travels. Stay safe out there man. Cheers!!!
Great video!!
I’ve been watching your videos now non-stop and I love the way you show and explain what’s going on around you. Thanks for sharing with us the beauty of the open land.
Thank you for this wonderful video and taking us along with you! Thoroughly enjoyed the beautiful colours and mists and your commentary.
A few years ago my wife and I took a commercial coach trip to Yellowstone in February. We were met at the southern entrance by a fleet of snow-cats which provided our transportation. It was one remarkable trip.
As always, I loved your photography and commentary - kudos to you.
Great video for a Monday afternoon here in Belfast. Yellowstone looks wonderful.
WOW! all my hair on my neck raised up as a standing ovation for this brilliant video. Bravo !
So glad you got to gorge on the gorgeousness of the gorges. That silence - I have only heard it in the BWCAW in Northern Minnesota.
B Higley A TV show I saw featured a professor who took sound-measuring instruments to many locations, and he claimed the quietest spot in the U.S. is in the Hoh rainforest in northwest Washington. Might want to put it on your itinerary.
@@Just_A_Glo I saw that. Was very interesting. Sadly, the professor is losing his hearing. Part of my future objective in travels is to go to places where I can't hear human made noises. Nature is fine but no humans, no cars, no electrical wires, etc. Just the sounds of nature.
I've really been enjoying your videos. Love the way you explore
Awesome camera work and narration, Slim (I just had to say that ...) ! Your videos are the best thing about Mondays ...
Wow, excellent video and so clear. I've been three times and the best was in October. As you said, there is always more to see.
thank you for this! happy trails (from alberta).
Gorgeous Gorges...say that fast five times, lol. Lovely video, Slim. Thank you.
thank you so much -- the colors, the music you have chosen & the animals. I have only been once and then back in 1976 -- would love to take my husband soon. thanks again.
This is one video I'm glad there is no smell-a-vision. It's been 40 years since I've been there but that smell lingers forever in my mind.
Slim, you always manage to find that spot where you seemingly have the world to yourself ... thank you for taking us along with you. Beautiful video.
Yellowstone in October. Absolutely gorgeous! I’ve lived in Laramie (southeast Wyoming) for 8 years and still haven’t been to Yellowstone. Your photography is outstanding! This episode’s going in my Favorites file!!
Wife and I watching the video together, I said, “He sure does good videos”. Wife said “yeah”. 👍🏻🙂
Thank you for another beautiful video! Always warms the heart on a gloomy Monday evening.
Music and volume, as usual, is ideal. 😁
Thank you! You captured sights that I would never be able to get to. And now I can enjoy them again and again.
I have a never before seen Yellow Stone look like that. Thanks for sharing
Thanks for another video woven like a beautiful tapestry of color, sights, sounds and movement.
My wife and I did our new trailer shakedown cruise in Yellowstone last October. Snow on the ground, no issues parking in the geyser basins and trailheads. Below freezing at night. Perfect! If you haven't seen Yellowstone in the fall or winter, you're missing out. Wife made a calendar from her awesome wildlife photos including a grizzly bear, a wolf, numerous elk and coyotes.
Wow! You did such a great job on this video. Just amazing. Really enjoyed it. Thnx for sharing🤓😎👍💕
Great post. Hope I get to see this place someday.
These are some unique and amazing views of Yellowstone. You have a wonderful eye for framing and depth of field which is truly artful and your narration is always on point. Thank you for a terrific video.
Wow Slim, outstanding video, wonderful editing, I live in Wyoming and have never seen it better. We Love your work!

Your videos brings back my childhood watching Mutual of Omaha wild kingdom. Just gives you the cozy comfort awh feel. As always love your work and videos thank you for making them and sharing them with us.
Great video Slim. Brought back fond memories from 19 years ago of Yellowstone National Park. The fall is wonderful time to see it.
Artist's paint pots, thanks for showing them.I haven't been to to Yellowstone in 45 years but they still look the same as they did when I saw them as age 12. 😀
The beautiful nature you captured is amazing. Thank you for sharing
Your scenery is always amazing. And, You out did yourself this time! Always enjoy your videos.
Yay my favorite video of the week!
Yellowstone is one of my favorite parks, thanks for a phenomenal video, great photography and story thanks.
this video was so stunning to watch..thank you!
My husband and I and our 2 children, have been to Yellowstone way back in 1992. My husband has passed on now, but this video has brought back some special memories for me. Thank you!
I love the music you played when we watched the rainbow stream ❤️ What a beautiful video..........
Thanks for a "gorgeous" video (and for the pun in it!). When I saw the buffalo at 12:41, I immediately thought of Fred Flintstone and Barney Rubble...
It is crazy that this park is the top of a supervolcano. Nature is so beautiful and scary.
I like how you narrate in sequential bits. Just comfortable enough for us to take in every beautiful scene with minimalistic clarity. You know the art of narration for sure.
Video and music was wonderful. Your content is always superior! ❤️🦃
Loved the rainbow stream dance, mesmerizing!
Thanks for the walk down memory lane Slim. I worked in that exact area around 30 years ago for 2 years. Yellowstone truly shines!
Can’t thank you enough for the reminders of the beauty of the being outdoors Slim. Thank you, thank you, thank you…
What a great video, we are going next June an I am going to rewatch your video an take notes on where to go! Thanks!
This video is the most beautiful I have ever seen of Yellowstone. It made me feel as though I was there. Thank you!
Having my coffee and enjoying your video, what a way to start a day. You do such a great job with your videos. Thanks for sharing Slim.
Your content, presentation and personality are on another level. This is the only UA-cam channel I will actually watch in full screen. Thank you for sharing your journey. Safe travels.
Stunning footage... and your poetic commentary fits perfectly. Thank you!
Has to be one of the best "documentaries" that I remember seeing on Yellowstone. Many Kudos!!!!!!
The ballet of your music to the scenes showcased your talent and sensitivity along with the beauty of nature. Thank you.
Breathtakingly beautiful! Thank you for sharing your journeys.
Thank you Slim, your narrations are just fabulous. Never quit entertaining us with nature. Your photography is excellent. This has given me such peace this morning as my day gets started.
What could be more relaxing and beautiful than a slim video? A slim video at Yellowstone... Well done!
Visited Yellowstone in August on our three-month overland and had a great time. We didn't stay in the park as it was full, so we stayed at Rex Hale State Park, a short drive from Yellowstone. You are right, road construction is an ongoing issue. We spoke to a Ranger and she said the issue is the repair/construction crews only have a brief window of opportunity to do repairs etc., so it seems like something is being fixed ALL THE TIME. All that said, we will visit Yellowstone again. Impossible in our view to see everything in one visit. Safe travels.
You did it again. Makes me want to turn in my retirement papers. Keep it up and I will. Thanks
This is one of your best videos yet man, thank you.
Your creative approach is much appreciated, thank you! My wife and I look forward to you weekly Vlogs...
Dear Slim, I am an Italian who at the moment is working in the middle of the Sahara desert, watching your videos help me overcome my loneliness, thanks for what you do and share.🇮🇹

This was an outstanding video! Your editing did the park proud and showed your wonderful talents. You’ve gotten better and better and better!
You made my home(summers only) come to life with music!! But if I may say you need to go back to do more!! Just loved how you turned prismatic into a fairy land..I hope you took the short hike to the overlook. Once again thank you Slim.
Thank You, really enjoyed your video!!! Hope your travels are safe and full of joy.
Stunning! Absolute masterpiece of videography!
feast of colourssss..😍
Wow! I would never get bored on that walk
We love the view and the pictures thank you for what you do Bonnie dozier calera al
Great video. Hooked on your approach and presentations. Just ordered your tripod as a Lightning Deal. I'm slowly putting my photography stuff together.
I enjoyed this video so much, spent 2 weeks camping mid October and it was great. With this video I saw some new areas and some I had seen before. Well done!
A great, great vídeo, as always!
This is one of the best...should get the best award for this one
Absolutely fantastic video photography some of the best ever !
Yet another wonderful video. Thanks for allowing me to live vicariously through your videos, and with such great editing and music. You have such an eye for natural beauty.
I live just down the road from the entrance near Mammoth. There is plenty of boondocking less than a half hour from Gardiner. If you are in the area again get a hold of me. I'd be glad to point you in the right direction. Just around the corner from the Grand Prismatic there is a short trail that goes up the hillside overlooking the Grand. From there you can look down on the spring and really see all the colors.
Like the calm attitude and insights you have about Yellowstone. Thanks you for a beautiful ride along! :)
Love your videos because you don't chase warm weather
