  • Thyme, more commonly known as Zaatar in Dubai, goes well with bread. Now that that's a given, Suzanne takes it to the next level, and puts it in a croissant.

    this reminds me so much of my childhood! whenever we went to visit family in Lebanon we would always get these from the bakery

    3 cups flour
    1 tbspn sugar
    1 tsp salt
    3 tbspn spoon milk powder
    1 tbspn yeast
    Drizzle olive oil
    1 & 1/2 cup water approx
    Knead the dough.
    Folding and stretching.
    Keep aside and cover with a towel for 1&1/2 hours.
    Divide the whole dough into 2.
    Roll them out. Slice into 8 equal pieces. Fill and roll out from the wider part to the less wider.
