long vs. pro long? thoughts? thanks so much. planning to use it with headplus and bmpcc 4k. hoping long (non pro) will be sufficient but grateful for your thoughts. says 10 lb load max on tripod, but hoping even if you push the limit it won't effect performance. thanks.
For that setup I'd just go long. It will have enough for your needs.

I had to go to the website to get the actual slider names. The emphasis should be on the word PRO. I got a little confused on your thread explanation.
I have been looking at these sliders. I would put a quick release plate to mount on a tripod.
I found using a QR system on the bottom of the SliderPLUS produced really unreliable slides and shaky footage.
I thought I was pretty clear on the differences, but it's all up to interpretation. Thanks for the comment.
Tomas Villegas ok I can see that if the tripod head can’t hold weight. That’s probably why have issues with my sliderone.
@@TomasVillegas You are TOTALLY correct! I purchased a flat adapter for one of my tripods. My edelkrone sliderone v2 works far better and less jittery.
if I could afford it, edelkrone would have all my money haha

I don't think so. I'd put that towards the slide module personally.
@@TomasVillegas do you ever wish you had the longer 25" version? I love the convenience of the smaller size and the travel aspect, but curious if you've ever felt limited by the Compact's size? I shoot with a Sony FS5m2 and may be shooting with an attached Shogun Inferno sometimes.. Thanks!
No. I'm really happy that I have the compact slider. I mainly shoot products so it works great for that. If I shot nature or more outside I'd definitely gone with the longer version.
