hats off to you for mentioning all v3-v4-v5 things and pro-plus nomenclature every time. i can imagine how much of a pain it could be.
Lol not so bad, it becomes second nature quickly
I think I remember there is a setting on Sony’s camera that can smooth out/adjust the speed of focus acquisition.
That may help smooth out the hard focus pull you see on these “focus by wire” lenses. Check your auto focus settings on your camera body. 🤔
Good review and SmallRig now sells SmallRig 4302 adjustable "hard stops" for (standard) 13.2-width rubber gears. This means that the unit will work for “focus by wire,” non-hard stop “infinite focus lenses.”edelkrone will only honor the warranty if the device in question was bought directly from them.
excellent review. Thank you.
Im such a fan of the Jib + Head + Pan Pro combo, since getting it, it made my workflow in the last couple of videos so much easier, especially shooting all the necessary B-Roll. It is a heavy investment into the Business, but its something worth while, probably even the best investment so far.
cant you incoproate the sliderone as well? So it's the jib + head + pan + slider
@@AnimeZone247 i dont think this will work, 1. It could not be balanced on a tripod and would topple over. 2. I dont think that the Slider and the Jib can be combined, since both are Base Products to be build upon.
Informative Review. Btw...your turquoise caught my eye. 👍
I love that ring too - one of my favourites
Good stuff! Thanks :)
Thanks for this video. Really excited to get my new kit and test it all out. You started mentioning something about the Pan Pro and accidently unscrewing it. But you did not finish that thought. What was the rest of that tip?
i learned how to be an artist from you thank you.
Amazing video thanks for the detailed run through... Im really keen on investing into the Edelkrone range.. Any chance you have the Dolly One and can you do a video with the Head Plus v2 and Dolly One being used together. Thanks Again !!!
God damn what a hot intro "drooling"
Crazy good review! How is it after 2 years
Being able to set keyframes by hand makes this system SO much faster. I have the 2x HeadOne system and it's very slow to set keypoints manually.
What tripod do you currently use for the whole set? The same as mentioned in the description or have you updated?
Is there a way to reduce the abrupt or pop focusing once it arrives on the subject? I see it's noticeable with and without the use of the lens controller.
Nice video, I was hoping you would use the focus Pro on the last setup from 31:00
will there be a chance to facetrack moving targets, e.g. me, when I'm teaching? would it work for changing distances (2-10 meters) between me and the camera Sony A 6600).
Hey man,
Thanks for your detailed video, i just want to ask that if you need a target module to set targets or head plus v2 allow you to do it as you show on your video?
Thanks
If I am starting out with these rigs, which is the best way to go? At first I thought you would say the JIbone and Pan Pro (and maybe Focus Plus were enough, but then you went on to include the other set up of Slider Plus V5, Head Plus V2 and the Motion Module V3. I'm kind of confused on which system to start with.
thanks for the video I had to sub man. I have a question I have a blackmagic pocket 6k g2 with a 18-36 and also a rokinon 85mm which setup should I get to shoot product videos I saw the v5 slider the head one also do i need to put a tripod head on the headone
Look at that DARK BEAUTIFUL monster !!! I have to wait for three damned videos to see it ! (Ups, talking about that bad boy you have on your forearm!) Coongratulations Adam ! :D
[By the way, you have the skill to make me wanna buy things i don't really need. A hug, Riccardo]
Well thank you! I have to thank my amazing tattoo artist for that "mimi_sama" - she'll be finishing that sleeve over the next few weeks and doing work on the other arm as well - so yeah, these virgin arms won't be virgins for much longer :)
@@AdamDuffArt Clap Clap for you both! Beautiful choice, amazing work!
Can you tell me what model is that manfrotto quick connect?
hey Adam If I am just starting should I buy the headplus v1 since it's much cheaper, Is the HeadPLUS V2 worth the upgrade from the v1.thanks
Does the HeadPLUS v2 come with the battery brackets or are they a separate purchase?
Hey Adam I hope that you're having a great day are you still receiveing the paintover submissions?
I do digital art using my phone I would like to hear your advice
I stopped doing those because my schedule was just too packed
Hi Adam! Thank you very much for this video. Please tell me if I can use this slider on live streaming? Is it possible to make a loop mode so that the slider automatically changes targets on three objects? I want to do a music translation where goal 1 is a 1st person, goal 2 is a 2nd person, goal 3 is a guitar. I think it will turn out to be something very cool.
And I also have an idea to use Edelkrone FocusPLUS Pro, just not to change the focus, but to change the zoom. I don't know if it will work or not, but it would be incredibly great
yes to both of your questions.
How does this compare to dji rs3?
When I use the focus plus pro for zoom in and out function the zooming is very choppy, not smooth. Does anyone else have this problem and would be able to assist me in knowing how to fix it? THANKS!
Solid shots and a well thought out review, but it is important to take sponsored videos with a big pinch of salt.
take any review with a pinch of salt, the best way to review something is if you do it yourself
Hey Adam, I have had the sliderone for quite a while and just picked up the controller as well as 2 headlines. Can you tell me how you can change pose settings after the first settings. On the app you click and hold a pose button to undo it but I tried it on the controller and it won’t undo the pose. Can you help? Your setup is way over me but it is awesome! Sayin’ hey.... Greg
Hey Greg!
I actually never deleted a Leo on the remote come to think of it - I just re-hold and override the original key
@@AdamDuffArt Adam. Thanks for getting back to me, I will try just doing a new pose setting. I didn't think of that. I reset the whole system. Say'in hey.... Greg
I can backup how great Edelkrone customer service is.
wow only good words... no issues at all?
✌
Hey Adam, if you wanna just send these over to me that would be great, i'm in most of next week so should be in for the delivery guy...okay...cheers!
Absolutely - to play it safe it’s important to have 4 or 5 backups as well - I’ll jump on that ASAP,
Ohh is that a paramilitary by spiderco?
You know your knives! impressed! - I customized it with brass scales and a lanyard (I'm a patina fanatic) - and PS - it's the Para 3.
@@AdamDuffArt I've never tried a para but I've heard wonderful things about them. I usually use a Benchmade griptilion. But I am a huge enthusiast for them and I love all the customizations
That’s a gorgeous one - you have a real gem
Huh, I thought Edelkrone was German? But anyways, great video :) And also nice tattoo
The Company has a german name and is registered as the edelkrone EU GmbH in Langen, Germany. They're a german company through and through he propably got something mixed up.
Edit:
Until further investigation the company seems to be founded in Turkey in fact. They just handle trade and Copyright Ownership through their respective location throughout the World: edelkrone EU GmbH for the european market, edelkrone USA Inc. for the north american market etc. not unusual for companys of bigger sizes although the brand name could be considered a bit misleading imo
i just wonder where manufacturing takes place
yes, thats what I thought as well :)
Bet you also thought that Hagen Daas was German too but it was made entirely in the US - using a German name implies “quality” :)
@@AdamDuffArt You would be right, but in this particular case the odds are against you :D .
I am German and so I could tell that "Häagen-Dazs" looks German with the "ä" but actually sounds a lot more like Danish. So it did not seem like a real German brand.
Anyways, I am just bragging at this point haha.
Love your content, have a nice day and greetings from Germany :D
@@collapse7164 manufacturing takes place in Turkey
I purchased the Edelkrone zoom module. But the lens is Nikon Z 24-70 2.8F. Their customer service said (If a focus ring on a lens has number/indicators, you can use Focus/Zoom Module with the lens. However, if the ring does not have indicators, that means it is controlled by wire(electronically) and in that case it is incompatible with Focus/Zoom Module.)
So do I need to buy cinema lenses?
Or should I go to the website recommended by this blogger to buy gear? ua-cam.com/video/5bg4TrUNiKc/v-deo.html
This system has been destroyed by real reviewers. Sorry for the gullible.
