The bigger issue was with her not him mate.
Ive never heard of PED's ever making any man infertile permanently. A good few months of HCG and HMG always brings a mans semen count up post steroid use.

The problem is “not necessarily” confined to long-term users, Dr White says, “but the higher the dose and longer used, the more likely there will be sustained or permanent infertility”. Females taking steroids are not immune, either.
Most men experience a significant decrease in sperm count when taking TRT-which is why testosterone is being studied as a form of male birth control. While a lower sperm count doesn't necessarily cause infertility, the lower it goes, the more difficult it will be for you and your partner to conceive.

They had failed invitro fertilization, they didn’t have a miscarriage or something from what I understand.

We experienced an almost identical story plus a failed pregnancy. I was surprised to learn how many people experience things like this. It’s over 25% apparently but *no one* talks about it. Great job guys.

Congrats! My wife and I had a similar journey and finally our first child is due next month. We actually celebrated by going to iceland and Norway in August.
It's good to spread your story for people to hear and give hope. By talking to people who have had similar struggles and understanding that there is a realistic chance, helped us ease the stress of trying to conceive a child, knowing that there is hope.

We were very, very blessed to have our daughter basically without ever really trying. We always had the mindset of: 'kids are very welcome, but not a must have. Whatever happens is how it's supposed to be'.

Congrats! Went through the IVF process to get our first boy and I can recognize many things you talk about. The process is rough. Fuck scheduled trying-to-get-pregnant sex! Fuck the feeling of not being able to do anything to "fix it"!

Congrats! Fertility issues are so incredibly draining. My wife and I (ok mostly my wife) did 7 rounds of IVF. We tried 5 transfers and got 2 kids out of it. Such a brutal and difficult process, but so worth it in the end.

We struggled with infertility as well. Completed an egg retrieval last year and ended up with 11 embryos. Had a failed transfer in October that almost broke me. I was upset and didn't want to try again. Then we decided to try another transfer in February and we were told that it wouldn't take because of fluid in my uterus. I went home and cried and cried. I still tested and was so shocked when that little second line popped up. I am currently 36 weeks and she will be here soon!
Struggling with infertility is hard. Not wanting to talk about it is even worse. I didn't want to talk to anyone about what I was going through or how it felt to have my body let me down. I'm so happy that it worked for you guys!! All it takes is that one special little embryo to make it 💜

Also please when you try again relocate in a different environment where the temperature levels are completely different from your home. The food you have been used to is completely different from the relocation you have gone to. This also impacts the hormones and helps rebuild whatever hormone you had in your body that is low. For a woman she will know the changes from the cycle of her menstruation. It can come early or come later. Once more congratulations. This is such great news.
