The Ironmaster bench is pretty polished, even if it appears like a Franken-bench. Leg extensions and curls are pretty comfortable and effective on it. I love what Bells is doing and own some of their products but I think they could have worked out some of these quirks with a little more testing. This bench looks good, but not great. Keep up the great content Gluck!
I've had the ironmaster bench with the pull up, ab and dip attachment for a year and it's been amazing. I just ordered the leg extension attachment the other night and I'm looking forward to using it.
Iron Master took a lot of Coops gripes with the pro bench and upgraded it substantially with the V2. Have had mine for a few weeks now and it’s the best bench I’ve ever used
We reviewed the SBP and talked with IronMaster throughout the process and afterwards. Very happy they were appreciative and receptive to our critiques. Nice to see GGR echo similar things when they eventually reviewed it as well.
Finally find the exact thing I’m looking for and of course, they discontinued it. Or they’re just always out of stock. Thanks for the review very helpful for what we all dream. We wish we could find yet for some reason. No one makes it or it’s never in stock.
I like the new Rep amd Rogue benches, they look amazing but since I workout in half a basement I really like the idea of being able to do leg curls/ extensions using the bench. I have also seen a few with a preacher curl attachment. Whatever the limitations are on a leg curl attachment I think it is better than nothing at all and I will never have the space for a dedicated leg machine. If I did it would be a leg press/ hack combo anyway. Your reviews are great. Love the channel.
Nice review. Decent option for someone who wants a dedicated station outside the rack for accessories. The Inspire SCS bench reminds me a lot of this design as well.
Having tried other brands leg extension/curl attachments, it really hammers home the point of just how much better ironmasters's one is than all of the rest. There is no lateral flection at the fulcrum and the steel at that point is much heavier than other options. Add in the option to move the roller pads and it provides a dramatically superior experience
I love the idea, but there are a number of aspects that make that leg extension a bit too unrefined. I like the idea and am optimistic they can find a solution that works better and still allows you to move the bench more easily. Nevertheless, I enjoyed the video and am also sure you can refine your bench moving technique in time😅 Great video guys.
Its also worth pointing out that Benches like the Iron Master are not available in Canada at all, leaving us pretty much with only BoS's bench as an option with attachments
There are times I’d prefer a traditional adjustable bench style over my Ironmaster, but the ironmaster attachments go on and off easily, and there’s no cumbersome attachment point in the way when it’s just being used as a bench. I’ll stick with my Ironmaster Super bench pro for now.
Question if the day: so I start building the home gym when we move into the new house in June, or do I commercial gym it until Black Friday? Are the deals that good?
They need to start making benches out of 14 gauge steel, focus on back pad wood pad thickness and back pad bracing on a ladder system. FID. No need for 12 and 11 gauge steel tanks. These companies have to stop pricing themselves out of the market. If it isn’t better than Rep AB 3000 2.0, they gotta make it cost less to get people to buy it.
Good review. Just saw that Ironmaster has a Super Bench PRO V2 and I can't find any content on that bench on YT. Any chance you guys will do a review on it? I'm dangerously close to buying the REP AB-5000 ZeroGap. Any affiliate codes?
They're aren't discount codes for Rep but we have an affiliate link! I'm not sure we'll do an updated video on the Super Bench as the changes aren't really anything that change much. The angle markings are nice, a handle is nice, and tapered pads were never my thing. Still a solid bench but I don't want to buy another bench for some tweaks 😂😭
Great review thinks about talking about the attachments for taller people. I have met you that to you on Instagram. I'm 6ft 4in, in case anybody was interested I was able to try out the jacked-up Fitness bench with their leg curl leg extension attachment and it works pretty darn good.
Looks like a pretty good option to add some versatility. Would love if the 4100 had some (any) attachments. But I doubt that'll ever happen, given the Blackwing coming.
I don't think we'll see any changes to the 4100 besides the gen 3 vinyl at some point. I think the Blackwing and new 5000 would be where we'll see new things.
@@GlucksGym I hope they leave the 4100 alone (except for ever better vinyl). Much prefer a bench that just functions as a great bench. Don't need to muck it up with a bunch of attachments.
Would I have to buy their brand of weight plates to go with it? I can afford the bench and extensions. Just not sure if I can afford the weights. They looked very expensive. Any advice ?
Can't wait for that Blackwing review. Just got the FB5000 wide and I'm loving it. I went Rep cuz you're obviously a bench coniseur. Hopefully you get some Canadian affiliates going by the time the Blackwing review comes out. Fyi I think your bench moving technique is decent at best. Not nearly enough glute engagement for the camera
@@GlucksGym Really? I tried a link from your review a while back and it was American. I did get the clear coat on sale but I think it was knocked down in price because there's some rust under the clear coat. Just a bit of surface rust and hard to see so I don't mind. I will try the link again when I upgrade my fid bench. Just tried the bells and rep links in your videos right now and both go to the American site even tho bos is Canadian lol. If I then click to the Canadian side it just goes to the Canadian home page...duno if that will count towards an affiliate purchase will it?
@@GlucksGym ya there's a little toggle in the top left corner to get to the Canadian site. Is there a way to confirm on our end that the affiliate link is working?
Debating if i should sell my ab4100 to get the ironmaster pro to add the leg extension? I have the strwngh dog goat but dont really like setting it up for leg curls
My first impression is I am not a fan of the location of where the attachments go I would prefer it at the headrest where others put decline/ab attachments the attachment point is hidden and no need to remove the handle...
Looks like Adrian agrees... I have a nebula 1080 (OG decline commercial bench attachment which the rogue AB3 and so many are based on) I can even take a plate loaded leg/ext curl attachment from another bench and use it there so not sure why BOS went to this design it's less preferable increases foot print looks less attractive and removes handle.... BOS I can consult with you if need be

Inclined + declined bench + Leg extn + Leg curl in one machine? People literally go to gym for Leg extn and curls. This is the greatest gym invention since the cable machines.
From a movie title "Nope" it does not give me that twinkle in my eye i had as a little boy for say my teacher but this isnt france where that twinkle could become reality so ill just stick to my China guys "Rep" for my thrills
Could you please review the Rep Apollo Half Rack? There is not much reviews on this one in UA-cam and I was trying to find some solid opinion before making an investment on this.
Good review, but these benches are just all way to expensive for the majority of users. The big issue is that, for what ever reason, these companys charge outragous prices for shipping, and dont allow payment plans.

Do you know what attachment (if any) REP has plans for? I'm very interested in the Blackwing Bench
I was going to get the IronMaster exactly for extensions and curls, did you feel Rep was just as good? Hard toss up now DOH!
8:30 is by far the hardest I've ever laughed at a review video
😝 Not sure what you mean

They can be good but for the past years nothing crazy. 10 to 20% off if the norm with some better deals sprinkled in

looking for a adjustable weight bench that's foldable and do hamstrings? any suggesting?

I used to question Adrian's love of benches.
Now I refrain.

Would this work on the rep benches via the decline bench attachment point? Thanks!
