This is such a rare LTD coupe because it's the base model. So many of these are LTD Landau's or LTD Brougham but not the base LTD. This one also has so few options. From what i can see it has the optional quarter vinyl top, bumper protection group & dealer installed passenger side mirror. Also appears to have the base 302 V8. No A/C, no intermittent wipers and the base cloth interior. I love the color combination of black with a red vinyl top. Any Ford collector would be proud to have this rare LTD in their collection.
So clean like it's 1976 right now, I use to have one . It's the best car I've ever owned, hardly worked on it, very low maintenance, I went everywhere. The cars made today are crap, I'll have to get me another one someday.
Parents bought a ‘77 4 door new w/ the 351M400 engine. The paint was awful and it was a gutless gas hog but what a joy to drive! It would float over bumps like they weren’t there. It was best suited on the highway, long haul trips. Miss that car…..
For a Low Optioned Car, The Exterior is Absolutely Stunning. My Dad the 76 Country Squire Wagon with nearly identical interior but without Cloth. Called it back then (P)leather.
I am remodeling one of these cars, base model having to add so many options it just didn't have. And I did the very difficult job of rolling those bumpers in 4 in on the front and rear the front you're able to completely do away with the fillers. The rear you cut 4 inches off and the bumper is practically snug it looks so much better and the handling will be better because of the weight distribution will be better.

I was 16 years old in 1976 this is a very nice car well kept Thank You for sharing your video.
Most of these were assembled at the Mahwah plant in N.J. Great cars.

This car reminds me of school back in the day !!
Perfect color combo❤
My first car was a 76 Landau Coupe with a 460.
Great engine.
Beautiful machine 😍😍😍
Work of art!
Beautiful
My father had one of this, dark green with blue interior and it was in this car that I learned to drive,,,,
I had the '77 model of this, almost identical. The only issue I ever had was the hub-caps liked to fly off occasionally. Still miss it to this day..
That's a beauty
Que chulada de carro.
My Dad had a green one just like this.
Black beauty indeed.
" When better car's are built, Ford will build them" My point taken.
Ide buy that in a heartbeat
Los mejores autos
I like that Kind![ Rick ]would say
Uncle Buck’s car!
There were so many of these around, too bad they rusted away. Drove nice, really nice 👍🏻🙂
SUPER KOOL
I'd rather have this over a Lincoln or marquis 😮
Barnaby Jones
The mirrors look a little odd
Those are definitely not factory.

351?
Yes
If it is, is it a Windsor or a Modified?? I know it's not a Cleveland because I don't think you could get a Cleveland after 1974.

@@randallcarney1216 it's a modified .
No A/C
A northern car when new. Not very many southern cars without A/C.
