My grandma passed away in October 2022 and my memories of her and her LTD are golden to me. Just last week my mom and my aunts called me to come to her house and when I walk in they were sitting around all quiet. They said they had something to tell me. I thought something was wrong. So braced myself for some bad news. My aunt hands me a little box and written on it was "to my grandson born in 1978" and in it were two Ford keys. My reaction was a river of tears followed by shouts of happiness. Immediately I got the keys and fired it up and man did that really make my day. On the passenger seat there was an envelope that had my name on it. I opened it up and there was another set of keys and so I thought they were spare keys but they didn't fit on the car I looked over, and parked next to the LTD was my grandpa's 1982 Ford F150 Bullnose Lariat. Let's just say it was an emotional day for me. Today I am starting my project on the LTD. Pulled out my pressure washer and am beginning with cleaning under the hood and undercarriage. This is a big day for me because I always dreamed about having a lowrider and today it starts. Having my Boys help me so we can have something to bond together with so that way one day I can leave them the keys so that it is as special to them as it was for me to own these two vehicles.

I don't go for crazy painjobs myself but hats off to the fella that did this one, that looked like many extra hours of work. Panel alignment is superb too.

LTD does not stand for Limited. It stands for luxury trim decor ... how are you going to do an entire car without knowing the history of the car first? Jeez.
