The only band I have ever been okay with having multiple singers over the years. No other band has had all 3 singers show up for a reunion tour. You guys are very loved
The thing is the band keeps the same style but the singers add their own flavor to the music
DGD has always used vocals as an instrument more so than a main focal point. Really evident with Jackpot. They constantly put out great music.
Not to mention just how fluid they are with vocals all around. Jon Mess on them dirties. Swan had some interesting dirties but he definitely needs to bring back the rap vocals. And now, Andrew is looking pretty promising for either being the 4th lead vocal, or at least an amazingly reliable co-vocalist. Super flexible band!

I don't know why I see some reviewers calling this album "mid". I've been loving every song so far. Solid offering.

This is definitely one of my favorite tilian songs, his flow during this song is amazing.
Everyone's mentioning the fun little "Slouch" nod near the end, but overall this song kinda reminds me of "Young Robot"

Hear me out, the breakdown at the end gave me Petting Zoo Justice vibes a bit. But everyone mentioning other songs also shows you can hear a lot of these older tunes influence the new shit and it sounds SO GOOD. A fave off this album for sure

@@GymLeaderOrion yeah it does have the same sort of break down at the end, but generally the songs arent similar. petting zoo is way heavier. this song feels like it was suppose to be a tillian solo song, but jon secretly put himself on there at the end haha.
Seeing comparisons and everything from everyone, I'm definitely feeling this album as a "vacation jam."
Perpetual sunsets and eternal last moments with best friends and shit. It doesn't hit the wall as hard but that certainly doesn't mean it's bad, it's just a different mood. And as always, even with some of their "worse" songs, the best part is listening to the album on repeat and listening around in each song's composition for your favorite bits. One Man's Cringe and Holy Ghost Spirit are absolute top 10.
(Also constant lyrics talking about wanting substance, about passions turning into chores, and about just kinda living in the moments you can without putting too much thought behind they why of it all.)
