Jon and Tilian come together with the crew's instruments to make something so depressively melancholic yet energetic and beautiful. I'm happy to know this band. I always will be.

I have no idea how it isn't more popular. It's literally the best song on the album and may be better than a lot of songs you mentioned.
@@suptee1 its because people literally don't actually listen to music no more. you gotta really vest part of your time into their work which is something i love doing but most people are just used to the sound of the mind numbing beats and chords that play on the radio and that's if. Its like seeing an image on a billboard, the artist that created it might have poured their heart and soul into the image, but its still only designed to be viewed at a glance.

Tilian is on a different level on this album. His creativity with the melodies is something else...
Hopefully he'll eventually join the band again when he gets everything straightened out and the help he needs.
@@sirspanks4563 I agree. I remember how happy I was he joined DGD years ago when he left Tides of Man. I hope he gets things sorted. He and Jon's voices just meld really well. I know it's known, but Mothership was one of those "This is it. This is their true form" moments.
I agree. Although JC and Kurt were really good DGD vocalists, too, I think they've owned this sound of theirs with Til

Jon's run at the end was amazing. I've seen other's say this is definitely Jon's album and I couldn't agree more.
He's definitely very prominent in this album. Kinda surprised because they've been consistently keeping it mostly singing. Hopefully he's gearing up for secret band 3.0

@@_tokii__ I've never been much of a fan of Tillians since he joined. I liked Acceptance Speech and loved Mothership but the rest of the albums I only gave a few listens. And this is coming from someone whose been listening to them since 2005. When he joined I still mostly listened to whatever I say is royal ocean and the self titled more. This album is up there IMO absolutely zero filler

When you first hear a band, you’ve heard of the band but you’ve slept on their music. Not quite sure why you just never took the time to listen. One day you’re digging for new music on UA-cam and randomly come across a song by that band, the moment you hear it, it slaps, it hits, like a drug! Like a drug you quickly become addicted. Thanks for this fresh hit of sound!

So this is hands down my favorite DGD song now. The guitar riff in the beginning right after the bit where jons screaming starts was indescribable (its melodic and seemingly reverberates up somehow) I didn't catch it at first, Tim went above and beyond for alot of the tracks on this album and Its bittersweet hearing the full album knowing it'll be his last. It seems fitting he left behind one final masterpiece/album for us to enjoy. RIP Tim

This album is full great and amazing songs. Dgd never fails to deliver. They are soo unique just in the fact that they never skipped a beat regardless of who was lead vocals. This song is personally my favorite off Juicer. Hits my heart strings.

Exactly. Every single album, but especially with Tillian. My girl is a HUGE fan and she actually got me really into them. I remember when she was hesitant about Tillian and now she's struggling about him leaving. But DGD at its core is Will, Jon and Matt so as long as they have them I think they'll always be good

I feel like this albums tells the past present and future. Old friends and dreams that you can't stand to think of anymore, Parts of your life that simply dont exist any longer. Places you've gone, things you've done, it all correlates to the person you are today. Me and my boyfriend have decided after living north for 20 years, we're deciding to move down south. All new people, places, things, a new life/ Leaving behind everything that comforts us in hopes to look at life from a different angle. Wishing everyone luck with whatever's going on on your plate ATM. Thanks for reading

I feel the exact same way. Each album represents a different chapter in my life that correlates with the album's themes at the time. The callbacks feel like thinking of those earlier times in my life and the way I felt at the time. I relate with the music so much that DGD somehow tells my personal story of the past, present, and future in each of their albums with their own spin on it of course.
This wasn't in my favorites at first but it's certainly making it's way up there
