he makes great point about becoming a Bonsai hoarder... imo the biggest problem Ive seen as Ive visited people's gardens is that they've amassed so much material, most if not all of it meh stuff, that there is near zero chance for them to get through it all at the appropriate times of the year... all their time is being taken up just doing basic maintenance instead of focusing on developing trees.. it becomes a chore and not a hobby, don't back yourself into this corner

We all get to that point we realize we need to focus on material we can push to the next level. Then comes to the point we need to cull and update with less is more.
My garden bonsai tour would be very short with ten to 15 trees😅
Every tree has a story to tell!
Never the amount of trees we count is the hours that we enjoy them.
