Actually, I like this memory a lot. I like how despite of 20 years of being exiled Altaïr returns and the true Assassins follow and respect him as they acknowledge that he is their true mentor. From Altaïr's convo with Abbas before Abbas died from the gunshot, i think he held back knowing how long they know each other. @@VelvetMagician it is good but doesn't feel like an Assassin's Creed game.. the feel just doesn't exist.. as u may know that he is the inventor (Bayek) of the Creed.. it has a good storyline though
In the novelization of Altair's story, he said "I do not enjoy his death but we need his absence" when he killed Abbas. I perfect way to sum up how he views his assassinations and his relationship with Abbas. His death is not something to be celebrated and if there are alternatives to removing his presence, he would take it.
I get that feeling. The early *Assassin's Creed* games had a special atmosphere-the blend of historical intrigue, focused stealth gameplay, and a more personal connection to the Brotherhood. Characters like Altair and Ezio made the story feel grounded and meaningful, while the simpler gameplay mechanics allowed players to immerse themselves in the experience without overwhelming RPG elements. The original games were more focused on the Assassin's Creed-literally-the core philosophy of the brotherhood, parkour-heavy exploration, and strategic assassinations. Now, while the series has evolved into something grander with massive open worlds and RPG systems, there's a certain charm to the more focused narratives and gameplay of the early entries. It’s that nostalgia for the simpler, more intimate moments-climbing the tallest buildings, blending into crowds, or having those quiet moments with historical figures-that really tugs at fans who’ve been there from the start. Which part of the old *AC* days do you miss the most? The story, characters, or just the overall style?
Yh I've read The Secret Crusade quite the story especially when it came to the flashbacks about Altair and Abbas's lives from being friends to hating each others guts
I really love the fact they speak about Altair as a confused story. It's like, his story is so sad and confused that there are legends around his name, around his deeds and life. Reminds me when you talk about something you haven't lived personally with a friend that have a different opinion. You can see one thinks altaïr is a traitor and the other thinks not. They probably have no idea of the real story, they only know rumors or old stories. Altaïr is so important, this game perfectly demonstrates it
AC creed taught me more about life and death, more about honesty and brotherhood, about duty and responsibilities than my parents did, I've only learned corruption from my parents,
Cannot believe the amount if times I have played this game and I only just noticed now, Look at each of their hand a one finger missing just like when Bayek from Assassin's Creed Orgins gets everyone to cut of their finger. Look at hand at 1:54
Alair was 76 years old and still was able to slice people's throats been down and walk properly and he still was able to run the order for many more years they don't make them like they used to
Can we talk about how at 82 (which is how old he really was, the video title is incorrect) Altair is using his Hidden Blades skillfully enough to kill? I hope I still have that much dexterity and strength at that age.
I know this game brought a lot of new Altaïr fans when it came out, but from the 2nd or 3rd time I played the first AC, I knew he was my favorite character/assassin. How I’ll never forget those days
Rest in peace, indeed. Altair will always be remembered as one of the most legendary assassins, the foundation on which the *Assassin's Creed* legacy was built. His journey from a brash, arrogant assassin to a wise mentor and leader left a lasting impact not only on the Brotherhood within the game but also on fans who followed his story. His actions shaped the Creed, and his influence persisted long after his time. Altair's story was about redemption, growth, and the weight of responsibility, making him an unforgettable character in gaming history. His legacy truly lives on in every hidden blade.

Two ?????
They saw god
This just shows how far respect can get you. Most of these Assassins helped Altair without a second thought.
The ending scene with Abbas and Altair almost brought me to tears.
Altair got that mfn thang on em
Big facts😂
Bruh I died
He keeps it on him😩
The most legendary "Parry this, you filthy casual"
this comment is incredibly underrated
I still don't know why Altair did not kill Abbas from the get go
Zero Steel Probably because he would prove Abbas point? He’d probably look more of a traitor if he did so but idk lol
The assassin's don't kill from the get go if they don't necessarily have too. It's not the creed way(lore) lol
It was because Maria advised him to not kill him immediately
@@ShaneFlett everyting is permitted bothing is true
From Altaïr's convo with Abbas before Abbas died from the gunshot, i think he held back knowing how long they know each other. From Abbas dad committing suicide for the shame he put on Ataïr's family, to becoming close with Abbas, and working together for the order. As Ataïr said, he pities Abbas because of his pride and insecurities became his downfall after Al Muliam died.
The 50% synch gave me a big Anxiety.
AC Revelations was super emotional game ❤️🔥

Abbas pulled out a Cesare out of nowhere.
Well played
Narrative and story wise, this is the best Assassin's Creed.
Agreed, the gameplay and free roam of Revelations is really medicore and just felt like a Brotherhood 2.0. But the story... my god! Revelations story and set pieces are fantastic and was and always will be the greatest Assassins Creed story to ever be told.
When I played this mission,I missed AC 1 Altair a lot
He still can fight at 76 he would beat me if I was 20 and if he was still in his seventies.
@GT012345tube Ikr, that doesn't make sense. He can dodge hits and kill trained assassins in seconds but can barely walk.

If I was a templar, Altair is the only assassin I would bow down to.
Still waiting on a sequel to AC3's ending that continues the story all these games built up. They keep making games and ignoring it. It's such a slap in the face.
to bad that the juno storyline that started in AC3 and built up until in syndicate was in the end simply concluded in a fucking comic.
Ezio n altair is the best assassin
Yeah assasin s creed 2007-2011 is best assasin s creed 2007 Altaïr and 2009-2011 is ezio Assaasin s creed 2 2009 assasin s creed brothethood 2010(best) and Assasin s creed revolutions 2011 :)) im love assasin s creed old gammeeee and play again and again

That simple scene of using the gun is one of my favourite moments
Even as an old man Altair still kicks ass.
The theme music of this game was so heart warming, its just connect with our emotions
Altair when he faces abbas be like: So anyway I started blasting
*WHENEVER WE PLAY THIS GAME AS Altair HE IS ALWAYS ALIVE* *"OUR MENTOR IS ALWAYS HERE"*
This game was epic the end of ezios story and we also got to know how Altairs life was ended
Ahhh the memories, back then life was sweet with AC series but now... its just some guy runing around. I stopped playing AC after black flag, it was the last game which gave me tears when it ended
Exactly
Me too man, but my parents bought me origins for my birthday and I feel like playing it, is it good?
@@VelvetMagician it is good but doesn't feel like an Assassin's Creed game.. the feel just doesn't exist.. as u may know that he is the inventor (Bayek) of the Creed.. it has a good storyline though

i Marty exactly everyone think the new games are garbage or at least garbage compared to the new one
@@PartyMarty94 only true AC fans would love and cherish the first to revelations. The new ones are a discrace
@@mewsterx3679 Amen to that.
No matter how far the games go. As a true fan. I'll live by the creed from the first game all the way til the series ends.
Nothing is true, everything is permitted.
The cringiest shit I've read all year
The story of this game is the thing that makes grown men cry.
In the novelization of Altair's story, he said "I do not enjoy his death but we need his absence" when he killed Abbas. I perfect way to sum up how he views his assassinations and his relationship with Abbas. His death is not something to be celebrated and if there are alternatives to removing his presence, he would take it.
I do miss the old days of AC 😢
Abbas: Lol no way he can reach me and kill me, he‘s an old man!
Altair: *Clocks gun*
Old Master Assassins is Back
damn that cut scene of altair very beginning even normal simple convo and that soundtrack on the background man we not gonna see it ever again :(
Whenever I play old Assassin's creed,it feels like wisdom is flowing through me
I read the novel, it explains so much of Abbas
Yh I've read The Secret Crusade quite the story especially when it came to the flashbacks about Altair and Abbas's lives from being friends to hating each others guts
Abbas : "It's over, Altair. I have the high ground!"
Altair : GO GO GADGET GLOCK
Go go gadget flintlock.
i remember play the revelations and the brotherhood in my ps3, was a very good time

It hurt to play this game: Altair growing old after being a spry 25-year-old and making hearts race
Altaïr is so important, this game perfectly demonstrates it
3:20 Lalalala casually approaches two guards within the corner of their eyes and stabs their throats lol
The legends themselves finally meet
Back when Assassin’s Creed was Assassin’s Creed
Those scenes made me cry because I loved playing as Altair and ézio
It's funny how there were Bayek and Kassandra but the Creed's foundation was built on Altair's wisdom

I cant believe this was almost nine years ago. I surely miss my childhood alot tho
AC creed taught me more about life and death, more about honesty and brotherhood, about duty and responsibilities than my parents did, I've only learned corruption from my parents,
I played ac 1 when I was 8 or 9 for the first time.
Since then I made several go throughs in ACR and 1 and OMG
both games gave me such goosebumps
Happy 855th birthday Altaïr!

This is the most underrated AC game. This game had the best and most beautiful story
Back in the days before AC became Assassin's Geographic Channel
5:32 That last Captain supporting Altair is peak expectation subversion
Altair must’ve developed an accent over the years I remember in the first one he sounded like Tim from down the street
I miss the old assassins creed games
This is the AC I miss
Alair was 76 years old and still was able to slice people's throats been down and walk properly and he still was able to run the order for many more years they don't make them like they used to
Can we talk about how at 82 (which is how old he really was, the video title is incorrect) Altair is using his Hidden Blades skillfully enough to kill? I hope I still have that much dexterity and strength at that age.
I don't know dexterity, but strength I'll definitely have, even if I live till 82 or even 8200
Altair was truly an awesome assassin, I really miss this!
this wouldn't happen if Abbas had a Gun
Wow the thumbnail I have those but golden edition
The final entry of the greatest AC saga even to this day i still go back and play these titles from AC 1 to revelations

Like Ezio, Altair was a true Assassin, same goes for people who played AC at the very beginning, OG's.
“Let me show you what the apple has taught me about the future” *pulls out a glock*
I know this game brought a lot of new Altaïr fans when it came out, but from the 2nd or 3rd time I played the first AC, I knew he was my favorite character/assassin. How I’ll never forget those days
I love Altair
Rest in peace legendary Alatir
Rest in peace, indeed. Altair will always be remembered as one of the most legendary assassins, the foundation on which the *Assassin's Creed* legacy was built. His journey from a brash, arrogant assassin to a wise mentor and leader left a lasting impact not only on the Brotherhood within the game but also on fans who followed his story.
His actions shaped the Creed, and his influence persisted long after his time. Altair's story was about redemption, growth, and the weight of responsibility, making him an unforgettable character in gaming history.
His legacy truly lives on in every hidden blade.
