UPDATE:1 year and still cranks within the first 2-3 pulls. Probably will buy another when this one finally does bite the dust ua-cam.com/users/postUgkx43QMbQqu67IZadu9ou8Sg1BdrunMRNqX . No issues at all. Very happy with it.UPDATE: After 6 months of use and over 70 uses I would still highly recommend this pressure washer. It does vibrate a decent amount but never had it “walk” like others have mentioned. No oil leaks, still seems to run like the day I bought it. Still cranks within 2-3 pulls every time. Very happy with my purchase!Have used it about a dozen times now. Plenty of power, cranks up on 1-2 pulls every time. My only complaint would be I wish it was a little taller to make it easier to walk with it (hits my ankles a lot) and that the two hose connections were a little further apart but it hasn’t caused me any issues. Seems to run a good 1-1/2-2 hrs on a full tank, overall a well built machine and definitely worth the money in my opinion.
I used a rubber band to hold the key on the shaft while I matched up the shaft and pump. I needed to hammer the bottom of the pump to seat the shaft close enough to add the bolts.
I was using a fairly new gas pressure washer yesterday and after starting when I pulled the trigger the pump made a funny screaching noise then the motor stalled...I restarted while releasing pressure same thing..starts then stalls..I turn water off, release any pressure start motor runs great..I slowly turn water back on and it screeches and stalls out..Now the motor wont even turn to try to start!! I think the cheap China axial pump locked up?? This was not even 6 months old!!!!
Why are all vertical pumps shown with 3 bolts? My Craftsman 7hp has 4 bolts in square pattern like the horizontal models. Can I use a horizontal pump mounted vertically?
Great video ! I'm trying to replace my pump on an Excell 2500 . And I did exactly what you said about test mounting the pump. It fits snug but when I go to use the existing bolts they are a little bit short? I'm trying to install this pump which has 3 legs. When I put the key way in the slot and line the pump up it doesn't slide all the way on? Any advice? On my way to get longer bolts. Thanks for your help.

Great video but you forgot to mention to unhook the spark plug wire so the engine doesn't start while pulling the cord.
With the switch in the off position no power will be sent to the coil.
@@APWRepairCenter no power is sent to the coil it makes it's own power. the ground wire is to groud out the electric power and kill the spark.
