please do not change anything in your way to introduce your tutorials. It is so fresh and friendly. I like the way you welcome us in your artist’s world. This is your label. I look forward to your tutorials each week. Thank you for sharing your passion and time with us
Please keep your intro, it is your trademark! Always brightens the day. Thanks for the real time in video it is a useful tool and for inspiration series opens up to artists may not have heard of before. Thanks again for your work you do even behind the scenes to produce these videos.
I never comment but my goodness, who would ever complain about someone being polite and saying good morning etc? Furthermore, that person is saying it before a free very instructive watercolor tutorial to help others become better painters. Jeez. Anyway, since I'm posting I'd just like to thank you Paul. I started doing watercolors during Covid when my three college/high school sons were home and my normally busy travel husband was here as well. I cannot draw and have never taken any art classes. I have tried throughout the years to paint or sketch to very comical results. I have painted about 20 of your paintings now and honestly, I am shocked. I cannot believe that I can paint and actually sometimes draw as well. They are never to your level and it will always be just a stress relieving hobby for me, but when I show them to family and friends they are really blown away. My husband, who is not an artist but very good at drawing, is impressed with them as well. Your videos are so clear and so informative and your personality and creative editing etc....even down to your pre made teeshirts. I look forward to watching every week. This is a long overdue, now rambling post but you are so amazing and I am very grateful that you take time to do this and allow others to experience something of the joy of creating. Thank you, thank you!
Your intro is just fine the way it is. I like these elements: 1) Speeded up w/ voiceover 2) A bit of real time 3) Captions with colors used 4) Telling us how long the painting took overall 5) The music you select. Thank you for introducing us to a master.
You might be getting tired of your intro... Sorry. We love it! Thank you for your dedication and discipline to keep up with this work week after week. As a writer (which means I keep in touch with fans via a newsletter), I know it takes a great deal to maintain your commitment month after month, year after year. There are SO many of us who are blessed by the fact that you have done and continue to do that! Wishing you joy and continued success.
I look forward to spending another year with you Paul and love the way you start the session because it includes us all, wherever we are around the world. Thanks very much and have a good year! 💛
I love the way you do introductions. I love how you take a break and have something to drink. Just so friendly, gracious and informative. Please don't change anything!
Great painting. I look forward to your tutorials each week (and your intro). Thank you for sharing your talent with us. Have learned much watching your videos.
Love your intro. It's your signature! There hasn't been anyone who has kept my interest as long as you have. I've learned and enjoyed so much. Many thanks.
Your introduction is what makes you so very special, so I wouldn't change a single thing ! My husband always calls out "Hi Paul" from the other room when he hears your introduction. Thank you so much for your amazing talent but most of all your generous personality along of course with your humour ! Your painting this week is brilliant and I may just have to give it a try later today :)
Hi Paul, thank you for your many videos, they are an important part of my life. I rarely write comments, but so you know how important your videos are, here's my story: My oldest grandson (currently 11 years old) lives far away from me in a Nordic country. Unfortunately I don't have enough vacation, so I can only visit him every 2-3 months. But when i visit him , he usually comes after I arrive and speaks your words (in English) "of we go, lets us paint step by step together", Grandma. He chooses a tutorial and we have a wonderful, most intense time together for the next two hours, one of the best times of my life. The result are unique watercolors, a thousand times better than a photo from the visit. Thank you for making this possible with your videos.
This is my favourite tutorial channel, I've learned so much and been positively inspired by your work. Just today started a class with an artist up here in Orkney and hoping to improve with some direct supervision. Planning to come to one of your events soon. Please stay as you are....we all love your cheerful intro and your humorous asides. God bless you for your generosity 😊
Hi Paul, I’m very new to watercolours and to painting, started in December’23, and I am so glad I found you and your channel. You are undoubtedly a fabulous artist, but you are so much more - a fantastic teacher, a friendly voice and a generous human being. I love your style of teaching and painting, your sense of humour and truly appreciate the hard work you put into each UA-cam tutorial. I’ve just ordered your book and look forward to learning more from you, each week. Take care and stay the same. Cheers.
bonjour Paul, ne changez rien, vous êtes tellement généreux avec tous vos tutos gratuits , avec vos conseils si précieux pour moi. J'apprends beaucoup merci merci merci beaucoup. 🤩😊🙏
Your introduction is warm and welcoming. But if you are feeling it needs change...go ahead. It has to be fun for you too! I like this inspiration series, thabks so much. I had not heard aboutbthis artist. Always a good reminder to sleep on it and come back the next day. I appreciate your tip about "letting your brain fill the gaps". I will paint with this in mind next time. Thanks, Paul!
LOVE your introduction and I would be sad not to hear it!! LOVE your tutorials and have been doing them for months! You are a fantastic teacher! Thank you!!
Please keep your introduction and tutorials. Every Thursday morning I love to watch your up-load and get encouraged to paint.. ( Due to 9 hours time difference between UK and Korea, I watch it Thursday). Thank you once again.
Hello, I'm French and I immediately liked your channel. At first, I didn't speak much English, but since I discovered the French subtitles, I've watched all your tutorials. I'm learning a lot and I thank you for that. You make me want to go to England, I discover it through your paintings. Keep your good mood and your little breaks. You have talent and pedagogy. Thanks again
"Never put pressure on yourself to make it a masterpiece." LOL... No danger of that here. I have enjoyed each and every episode I have watched of yours. Some multiple times. Keep up the wonderful work and thank you for keeping it light and straight forward. ...just the right way for me, and I suspect others, to adsorb it. Thanks again!
No, you must keep your jolly and cheerful introduction. It’s your ‘signature’ and we all love it. And this painting is beautiful. I think it could be somewhere in my native Yorkshire, or the Peak District. But no matter where it is, it looks to be a lovely place. Thanks, Paul, for another great tutorial. 😃👍
I love the introduction of your tutorials, always makes me smile. Please don't change anything. Your tutorials are great the way they are. Another fabulous painting. Thanks Paul.
I think your intro is so welcoming and friendly, please don't change it. I enjoy every part of your videos and look forward to every Wednesday to see "what you have for us today". Thanks so much! Sandy
Agree with Christine I think your intro prepares me mentally to paint! I am a master teacher and these are the same types signals that teachers know prepare student minds to work or learn. The mental cues tell the brain, OK this is what we are doing now. On the other hand, if you are bored with the intro. and ready for a change by all means trust your creative brain to find another delightful one. Can't wait and of course we will all adjust!😄Tutorial is really good, learning the techniques offered, can't wait to try it
I love your videos! the real time bits really help put things in a good time perspective, so I don't feel like I'm a painting snail. 🙂 You are so wonderfully human and make me feel like you really care about the things we are learning from you! Have a wonderful day!!!
That was a fantastic lesson. I can't tell you how much joy your lessons bring me, and I'm sure everyone else who follows you. And now I'm off to give it a go, as you say.
I agree, keep your introduction! It's part of what prepares me for your tutorial! Love this one Paul. The trees on the right are amazing. It's a joy to watch your brush dance across the paper. You still inspire me to keep trying new ideas. Thanks so much 😊
Thank you! This will be a good one for me to try. Still struggle often with being too exacting... ruins the whole thing! I think my personality keeps getting in the way! Lol!
Normally I don't comment but now it's time. Dear Paul, don't change anything. Those introductions are the beginning of your paintings. Your style, your sign. Not starting with the intro is like not finishing your paintings with the signature. A huge "thank you" for the work what you do and how you do! Greetings from Hungary
Your intro is your trademark so leave well enough alone! This was a great tutorial and it's always helpful to be exposed to previous watercolour artists and to learn from them:) Many thanks!
Do not change a thing! Your Intro is so you! I enjoy your work and your interpretation of other Artists that you are inspired by. If it's not broken don't fix it, it's great the way that it is !!! The Introduction is great, especially with the assisted help with presentation from Margo, I think that I have her name correct.
I look forward to the tutorials every Wednesday. I have been painting for the last 2 years and have learnt so much watching your lessons. It's given my free time so much purpose and discipline. I love your style of presentation and your humour and would hate to see you change that. Thank you for the invaluable lessons and this introduction to art.
So glad you put in the detail of how much the footage is speeded up (4x) after your real-time section. Whenever I have tried to follow your tutorials, I usually end up painting at the speeded up level. Now I know what the real speed should be, I can turn off the sound and turn on the subtitles. Thanks again.
Wednesday is always a good day for me thanks to your tutorials , I have followed many of your tutorials, u just have a way have making amateurs like myself feel comfortable with having a go at water colours , thank you.
Good evening. Thank you for this wonderful tutorial with the history of the artist and also for this beautiful painting. The colors are authentic looking in this perfect scene.
Paul - love your intros - don't change. Your sense of humor and wit makes watching these videos enjoyable as well as educational. I do appreciate your passion and effort to keeping this up and hope someday to fly across the pond to attend one of your workshops!
My watercolor journey is about the joy I felt when I first put watercolor to paper!!! It's been a great time learning from you on Watercolor Wednesdays!!! So many comments about keeping your intro the same... Agree!!! Thank you always, from a grateful California Gramma ❤
The color palette on this painting is so fresh and pretty, and the end result feels so delicate. I can’t wait to try it. As for your intro, I love being one of the “lovely lot” you share your tutorials with. Don’t need to change a thing!
I so look forward to these videos! Thank you for your dose of optimism! Not only do I learn a lot from every one, but they always make me feel better. 💚
We love your introduction. And don't worry too much about the provenance of the book: libraries often get rid of their old books, sometimes by reselling them. Another wonderful tutorial! Thank you so much!
It’s Best day of the week and I wouldn’t change a thing about it , even your t-shirts are great ! Thank you for another stunning painting to add to the inspiration series! I love James Fletcher Watson’s work, I have his book The Magic of Watercolour that I pull out for reference all the time ! It’s been a struggle to keep up on one foot but I’m hanging with the group and last weeks tutorial turned out beautifully, thank you again ! Many Blessings to you and Margot!
You sure did, your perfect! I “liked” last night I don’t know how many comments that had said the same thing before me. I got tired after awhile because there were so many! I’d say you are well loved by many followers ❤
Don't change anything!!! Just your Inspiration Series alone has introduced people to artists many don't know about. You have a unique channel. Keep up the amazing lessons ❣
Your intro is fine. Your generosity is above and beyond. I am so grateful for your time. You do this any way you want. I've begun to feel like your an extension of my family. Any way you want to do it is fine by me.
Really interesting! I knew some watercolor artists scrape off paper to restore sparkle, but haven't actually seen it done, so that was a learning opportunity for me. Thanks so much.
I've been told so many times that "the more distant the view, the more pale the paint". You've just knocked that on the head and really sucked me into the painting. Love it 👌
Hello Paul. I really enjoy your introduction to your painting sessions. I love how you made this painting come alive with simple brush strokes. Can't wait until next week. Take care and see you soon 🤗
I love your whole style; your presentation, your techniques, your teaching, explanations with your friendly voice. And I am so lucky to find your channel. So I agree with the majority and please don’t change your introduction ☺️🙏🏻
Please keep your friendly warm introduction as it’s quite cozy and makes one feel they are in the room with you. Lovely tutorial. Thank you for sharing your time and techniques. Cheers!
I have only recently found your tutorials and I am learning from them and gaining more confidence. You have a gift for teaching (and painting, of course). Thank you.
1st, don't change a thing unless you are feeling like experimenting! I'll take it however it comes!! Also, 1st, Happy New Year, and thank you for continuing to give so much time to us(me). I know you put so much into these videos, and it's appreciated. With all the stress and negatives in the world, you provide such a positive and inspirational space. I always enjoy learning about what artists inspire you. There are so many late great artists we don't know about. Sorry about the novel here, and again, thank you for sharing your talents and time. It is such a kind gift.
Okay Paul, I can see from your comments that you’ve gotten the message. Do not change your introduction!! It’s perfect exactly the way it is and we love it!!! It’s exactly one of the things I love about watching your channel, so get any thoughts of changing it out of your head! But thanks for asking😅 Wonderful video and painting. I enjoyed your intro about the artist, whose name I already forgot…. Enjoyed the flip through the book and hearing your thoughts about him. Your finishing touch on the painting the next day really made a difference, it was the finishing touch and looked like water spray! Brilliant! 👍🏻😊
Hi there, I remember you asked that last year, and my answer is the same: Please do not change a thing! It's just one of the many special things that make you, you. And that is exactly what we want to see (and hear)😊
Please don't change anything, love your intro and the way your videos are. I rarely comment but think this scene is from the lake district. Possibly Ashness bridge, its been decades since I've been though Wishing you a happy healthy 2024 @paul clark
please do not change anything in your way to introduce your tutorials. It is so fresh and friendly. I like the way you welcome us in your artist’s world. This is your label. I look forward to your tutorials each week. Thank you for sharing your passion and time with us
Thank you so much! ... will do!
well said!
Please do not change anything! I love having that friendly introduction awaiting me on Wednesday morning!
Great to hear - many thanks!
Please keep your intro, it is your trademark! Always brightens the day. Thanks for the real time in video it is a useful tool and for inspiration series opens up to artists may not have heard of before.

Glad you enjoyed it Sherry
Please keep your introduction and tutorials. Every Thursday morning I love to watch your up-load and get encouraged to paint.. ( Due to 9 hours time difference between UK and Korea, I watch it Thursday). Thank you once again.

Beautiful rendition of a great painting!
I vote keep your intro! I do look forward to hearing it every Watercolor Wednesday!
Thank you so much!
Great to hear, many thanks!
Thank you so much 😀 - I've done a little further investigation and it appears to be in Cumbria!
Please don’t change your creative introductions. Each video makes me smile! Thanks, Paul and Margo!

I like your introduction. It's so you and so familiar it doesn't seem right without it!
Glad you think so!
Lovely to hear, especially from a teacher ... many thanks!

Gorgeous painting , I love your introduction and your style of painting 💕🦋

Yes, please keep the introduction! And I love the breaks where you are sipping beer or whatever, always makes me laugh!

Hello Paul. I really enjoy your introduction to your painting sessions. I love how you made this painting come alive with simple brush strokes. Can't wait until next week. Take care and see you soon 🤗
Thank you! Cheers!
A very calming and inspiring piece of Art. As always Paul Clark, brilliant and exquisite, from America!
Wonderful. So relaxing to just sit and watch. Don't change anything. You have the perfect format already!
Thank you so much!
I didn't see anything this morning! Says this went up 14 hours ago. I just thought you took a well-deserved week off! Thanks so much for this, Paul!
No problem J - thanks as ever!

Glad you enjoyed it
Thanks Paul - another lovely video with lots of advice. Please don't change your introduction, it's now so familiar & I love the 'off we go!'
Lovely comment - thanks Mary!
Thank you for Who you are and for What you do. Please don't change anything....
Love the introduction, don’t change a thing. 😊
OK, will do! thanks
Okay Paul, I can see from your comments that you’ve gotten the message. Do not change your introduction!! It’s perfect exactly the way it is and we love it!!! It’s exactly one of the things I love about watching your channel, so get any thoughts of changing it out of your head! But thanks for asking😅
Wonderful video and painting. I enjoyed your intro about the artist, whose name I already forgot…. Enjoyed the flip through the book and hearing your thoughts about him. Your finishing touch on the painting the next day really made a difference, it was the finishing touch and looked like water spray! Brilliant! 👍🏻😊
Thanks Kathy….. definitely got the message 🤣
I have learned a lot from you, I like your sense of humor
Great to hear - thanks
Hi there, I remember you asked that last year, and my answer is the same: Please do not change a thing! It's just one of the many special things that make you, you. And that is exactly what we want to see (and hear)😊
We love everything about your tutorials
Great to hear ... many thanks!
It’s absolutely amazing. So pretty yet loose. I wish to paint like this. Thank you Paul will give it a go after watching it a few times
Thank you so much 😀 ... have fun!
Please don't change anything, love your intro and the way your videos are. I rarely comment but think this scene is from the lake district. Possibly Ashness bridge, its been decades since I've been though Wishing you a happy healthy 2024 @paul clark
Thanks so much ... yes I think you are right ... I've done a little research and it points to Cumbria!
