Good job bud, I refurbished mine too… you’re right it’s more of a tricky job than you’d think.
I did a crappy job on the paint on mine, yours look great.

Took me a while to get them properly done tbh. Sand blasted and dipped in a electromagnetic bath. Then primer . Red paint and top coat. Getting the rubber seals was a pain in the ass. All done tho. Thanks for watching.

I would off loved to see how you got the handbrake cable out.

Handbrake down, pair of pliers pull the the cable “out” then remove the metal “brake line” clip and slide ir out.
