- Hey yall, it's time for another natural hair salon visit. Let's see if I experienced yet another setback on my type 4 natural hair! This time, I went to a new salon and a new hairstylist cut my type 4 natural hair.

I visited a natural hair salon for a trim over a year ago, and ended up having to cut my long type 4 natural hair. Since then, I have decided to visit a natural hair salon and get a professional trim on my natural hair every three months. You probably can't relate because this is more for men, but there needs to be talked about how one of the most intimate things that you can do is I get your haircut. Like when I used to go to the barbershop, I used to like always fall asleep when my barber was cutting my hair, which was actually a black woman. Like the level of peace and relaxation when you're getting your hair cut or styled right is next level.
I think anyone can relate to a feeling of nirvana 😂
This is one of my fave series on your channel. I’m still not brave enough to let a stylist use heat on my hair but this series is encouraging me 🥹
You gotta be careful cause folks are HORRIBLEEEEEEEEE. Only go to someone a friend or family member recommends.

Nice video. I completely agree with you that finding a good stylist is hard. I recently moved to Georgia and just found someone a few months ago. I visited a few places before I found her so I felt your excitement. It’s a feeling that’s difficult to explain. It’s a mixture of the work and connection with the person.

Loved this video!!! Made me want to go see my stylist. Happy for you, she's definitely a keeper you had me at greased yo scalp!!! My stylist also greases my scalp and hes not scissor happy. I found him about 2 yrs ago. My dad referred me. Was truly a blessing!

Great salon experience. Love how she took it back old school. Yep - she's gonna book up fast. My advice - make an appointment on your calendar 4 wks from when you sat in her chair to book your next appointment. Hopefully that will allow us to see more salon visits from her.

This is so therapeutic to watch. I really miss the salon experience. I used to see a really bomb natural hair stylist when I lived in Chicago ( Monique at Huetiful for my Chicago girlies) but now that I’m in Charlotte, I’m having a hard time finding someone.

I wish I could find a stylist like her in my area. The last salon I went to gave me heat damage at the nape, and I haven't been to one since. That was over a year ago.

8:16 The stylist should start using the Revair especially for Clients like you that are trying to retain length.
There’s nothing wrong with a paddle brush and concentrator. I actually prefer it to get my hair as straight as possible without flat ironing. The Revair although amazing doesn’t get my hair as straight.
